Exclusive: Planned WWE DVD 2011 Schedule – Reveal #5

November 22, 2010 by Daniel Bee

WWEDVDNews.com has obtained a list of currently planned WWE DVDs & Blu-rays for 2011. Not the previous bunch of rumors, but a schedule from the WWE themselves.

Given the time frame, obviously it’s tentative and some titles will change but the source can’t be faulted. At this moment all are scheduled. We are revealing 2-3 DVD titles each week!

“Hearing voices” in your head about this week’s reveal?

……………………………………………………………………………

Best PPV Matches – Planned right now for the end of 2011 is a second “Best pay-per-view matches” WWE DVD & Blu-ray release, again profiling the top bouts of the year. Should this go ahead we can expect 3-Disc DVD & 2-Disc Blu-ray sets.

The Randy Orton Experience – The big one this week is a confirmation that WWE is indeed planning a Randy Orton DVD & Blu-ray set for 2011. Right now it’s planned to have this title, and if that stays the same we can expect a similar concept to the recent John Cena Experience release. It’s currently scheduled for September.

That’s What I Am – Earlier in the year, Randy Orton will also be appearing in this WWE produced movie starring him. This is scheduled for a May 2011 release on DVD & Blu-ray.

Why do they have to call this the Randy Orton Experience? that would be so gay I don’t want to see another DVD like the John cens experience ever again

I think on WWE’s website they should list potential matches to put in Orton’s dvd, and let the fans vote by which ones are their favorite

Please god reveal Best of Raw seasons 3&4. You can’t do 1&2 and not continue a great DVD set. A smackdown 1&2 sounds good.

A Randy Orton DVD with no Benoit matches is gonna be pretty crappy tbh. The majority of his best matches were against the guy. Guessing they’ll fill it with mediocre-at-best matches against HHH and Cena. YAWN. Hopefully they will surprise me and make it a good set though. The less HHH and Cena matches the better…

my guess is theres about 6 more dvds left to reveal. my guesses are best of raw seasons 3 & 4, best of smackdown seasons 1 & 2,Cm punk, Rey mysterio (he doesnt need another one but im sure he’ll get one, id like an experience with him), Best of the us title, and my out of left field, hopeful last guess is a 3 disc ORIGINAL ecw dvd

I’ve been wanting an Orton Dvd for a while now!
I’m guessing History of the United States Title and a Goldust dvd for the next reveal.

not too thrilled about it this week. I was hoping for better. Probably wont pick up either set.

Can’t say I’m that excited about Orton’s first set being an experience style set, would rather just have 3 discs of matches for his first set.
