SummerSlam 2010 was released on DVD and Blu Ray today.
Unexpectedly the Blu Ray being offered by Best Buy in the United States is actually a 1 Disc edition. On there is the SummerSlam event, the extra and the episode of Raw from the Monday before the PPV. Smackdown is not included here.
We’re not sure why the 2 Disc version with both the Raw and Smackdown shows present was not released in North America because this was indeed originally planned and listed.
Good news if you’re in Europe though because the 2 Disc version looks to still be going ahead for October so it’s likely this will be exclusive.

More disappointing news for those in the USA who were hoping for an alternative DVD cover in the K-Mart SummerSlam 2010/2009 double pack.
The advert promoting the set featured the orange poster for the SummerSlam 2010 DVD but unfortunately the actual DVD cover is the same as everywhere else.

Well that sucks I go to all the trouble of having someone buy it in the US for me and now I find out that I’m going to ahve to buy the European version anyway.
I opened my blu-ray just before I checked here. And I was and still am extremely PO’ED. This SUCKS!!
