Shawn Michaels Involved with 2 New WWE DVDs, Next Titles on PPV

April 2, 2011 by Daniel Bee

According to Wrestling-Edge, presumably via Shawn Michaels’ own Twitter/Facebook accounts, HBK has filmed new interview footage for upcoming WWE DVDs whilst with the crew for WrestleMania weekend.

The topics discussed were said to be Ted DiBiase (Mid-South Wrestling and their shared religous faith) and Stone Cold Steve Austin’s impact on the “Attitude Era”.

As for what WWE DVDs these interview segments were conducted for, there’s every chance the footage was filmed for 2 titles we revealed on this site; Ted DiBiase’s “Million Dollar Man” DVD scheduled for December, and “Austin/Rock: The Rivalry” DVD/Blu-ray for October. Now The Rock is in closer contact with WWE one could also assume he will be involved in sit down interviews for the set too. Let’s hope so.

This month WWE are airing Top 50 Superstars of All Time on pay-per-view to US markets, and in May Bobby Heenan’s DVD will also get the same treatment.
