I was waiting for vol.2 for a long long time! well, I’m still waiting for the Re-Launch of WCW! Our German Commentators Mike Ritter and Lenz Retzer promised us the Re-Launch while the Last Nitro was On Air in 2001! I haven’t left – I’m still here! And I am still waiting!!! Much THX 2 WWE for this special DVD Box!!!! Means a lot to me!!!!!!! And also much greets to Shane McMahon πŸ˜‰

  6. R&REXPRESS#1 says:

I’m excited about this set & will definitely be picking it up the very day of release ….not a huge fan of the cover though, I think it shoulda looked more like volume.1, that was cool.

  7. Shane C. Montgomery says:

I am excited about this DVD and I think the cover art is great!. 2013 looks like another good year for us WWE DVD fans.

  8. Anonymous says:

I loved the first Best of Nitro, so I will definately be buying this one.

  9. Anonymous says:

    Awesome cover

  10. TheHeat says:

I love this cover. Its striking. Its intense. And it has all the appropriate wrestlers. But I’m not feeling Goldberg being front and center. I know its not saying he was the best they have to offer. Just looks like Sting, Hogan, Flair, and Savage are lined up behind him leading the charge. Look at Sting with the bat in his hand and the look on his face. He was WCW. He should have been dead center. then Hogan and Flair. and Savage and Goldberg behind them. That’s just my opinion. But either way, the cover is awesome. And I’ll be buying it. Volume 1 was great.

    • mommy says:

im hogan should be front and center, the guy put nitro on the map and his heel turn and the nwo was the main force that put nitro ahead of raw for 2 years, no denying that

hogan was to nitro was austin was to raw in late 90s, not saying he was the only star but was the driving force in the ratings wins

  11. Michael Weyer says:

Nice publicity for TNA wrestling with Sting and Hogan on the cover.

  12. Luke says:

That cover is awesome. I can’t wait to get this and the best of raw and smackdown 2012 next year!

    • no says:

……didnt you WATCH Raw and SMackdown in 2012? stupid f***ers like you are the reason we dont get better dvds

      • Dave says:

And stupid f****** like you are whats wrong with so called WWE “fans”…you bitch and moan about the product thinking you can run a better show but have absolutely no clue…but yet still watch just for the sake of bitching and moaning.

If RAW and SD are so bad…watch something else, WWE don’t need flaky narrow-minded fans like you.

      • rene says:

And rude assholes like you are whats wrong with the world today.

  13. Steven says:

Great cover, might be the best one of 2013.

  14. Anonymous says:

Out of curiosity, and I really don’t care aout these things, I still think its an awesome cover….do Sting ever wear anything like that?

  15. Vincenzzzzzo says:

Great cover. Definitely can’t wait to pick this one up. I’m glad they’re releasing this one on Blu-ray format too this time.

  16. SRB says:

Holy Sh**!!!! Amazing. Fantastic cover! Gotta say, interesting choice to put Goldberg out front. All the major players are there, but I don’t know about Bill up front. Although he was the major player of WCW for a while so I get it. I’m surprised there’s no Booker, Steiner or Hart

  17. Anonymous says:

    Can’t wait for febuary! πŸ™‚

  18. Surprised they have blown up the wcw logo on this one!! Vol 1 was all about blowing the nitro logo up, wonder if there is another reason rather then just marketing

  19. Lendus1985 says:

Love this cover!! This is definitely one of the best covers I’ve seen!! They’ve got this one spot on!!

  20. Anonymous says:

Cool cover! Here’s hoping the focus is on the 1999 to mid 2000 period that has been largely missed in previous DVDs. There’s a lot of great unreleased footage to be seen if they do this right.

  21. Brad Attitude says:

Looks like an awesome cover featuring guys from two biker gangs and a lone wolf sporting a weapon of choice. Definetly has a cool feel to it. I wonder what the back looks like. I’m very tempted to pick this one up now =]

  22. Jose says:

hopefully there won’t be many repeats on this set.

  23. Mr Z says:

Since Hogan beating Savage for the title from 1998 was on NWO set I’m hoping this new set will include Hogan beating Savage for the title from 1999.

  24. m.blier says:

this is what fine art looks like.even vince mcmahon likes this cover.

  25. Jason H says:

Wow, that’s definitely a pretty B.A. cover right there!

  26. J says:

NICE!!! After the pi$$ poor cover for volume 1 it’s nice to see Nitro get some real love from WWE.

  27. TEAM2000nWoWoflpacTV says:

Great cover. Would have been better if it also showed Scott Hall, Lex Luger, Bret Hart, Rowdy Roddy Piper & The Giant just to show how much star power WCW had – maybe they will be on the back. Then there is also guys like Scott Steiner, Curt Hennig, Raven etc.

  28. LP1 says:

Some people mentioned how something looks off about the way the guys on the cover are standing. It’s because none of them are height-accurate. They’re all pretty much the same size. Look at Savage next to Nash for example. So that’s why something looks off. Either way it’s still a very cool cover.

  29. NickP says:

Thats awesome.. WCW goes Rumble 91/92 style

  30. Harry Faversham says:

Now that’s a truly great cover! Has quite a 1998 onwards look to it I would say. Its quite suggestive of the Wolfpac which is nice. Also there’s 7 geezers walking towards you that you probably wouldn’t f*** about with! I like it a lot.

  31. Anonymous says:

    sweet ass cover

  32. Anonymous says:

This is a minor thing but I notice that it says “best” rather than “very best”.

  33. Anonymous says:

Luger, Piper, Jericho, and Booker are the biggest names to not be on either cover. Good to see Savage made this one.

  34. Anonymous says:

the cover is way way better then vol 1. AWESOME.

  35. CaptainCrazy says:

    sick cover

  36. John says:

Great cover but Diamond Dallas’ Page, Randy Savage, and Hulk’s faces looks photoshopped and does not match their bodies

  37. Ryan says:

Super cool. Best WCW cover so far.

  38. @imdjluis says:

The graphic guy was thrilled to finally get creative with a cover that didn’t include a still of John Cena.

  39. Aaron b says:

I usually don’t get excited over dvd covers, but wow,

    This cover is Too Sweeeeeeeeet!!!!!

  40. Paul says:

Incredible looking cover. One of the best in a while.

  41. mommy says:

pretty good cover, but i wish scott hall was on it, switch goldberg/hogan and add hall it would of been greater

    • Anonymous says:

Everyone on there looks to be from 98 or 99 in the case of Hogan and Sting. That’s when Hall started to seriously decline, so he’s definitely not representative of that time period, especially not on a best of cover.

      • mommy says:

lol this is best of nitro 1995-2001, not just 98-99, it clearly states that

and hall was a big part of it, he was the original trio of nwo, formed outsiders, first nwo guy to invade, tasered goldberg to help end the streak, the guy was a huge part of nitro

        • Anonymous says:

That’s great, but 95-2001 clearly isn’t what they’re going for on the cover. Otherwise, it’d have the Dungeon of Doom, KroniK, Vince Russo, and unmasked Rey Mysterio too.

And most of Hall’s major moments were on the first volume, and he was on that cover.

  42. Anonymous says:

hate the cover, looks like a bad village people cover band poster

  43. Marty says:

They’ve been batting a thousand lately with their artwork and this is no exception. Fine cover!

  44. john rega says:

One of the best covers I have ever seen

  45. ty says:

    awesome cover

  46. Anonymous says:

My jaw hit the floor when I saw this!

  47. Anonymous says:

    AMAZING

  48. Anonymous says:

This has to be one of the best covers in the history of WWE Home Video

  49. captain planet says:

    Holy crap, what a cover!

  50. Steven Jackson says:

Great cover, I agree some of the stances look a little photoshopped but a cover with the “Macho Man” Randy Savage is always good times =)

  51. Anonymous says:

Oh my goodness. Oh my damn.

    Dat cover!!!

  52. neverAcquiesce says:

Nash’s hand has an odd Photoshopped look to it. And Sting is holding the wrong end of his bat. Something about their stances just looks off, like the lowers halves were from stand-in’s and connected to the actual wrestlers’ top halves. Cool idea, though.

  53. Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if Sting gets any royalties due to not working for WWE and being on the cover of their DVDs or for the footage?

    • james says:

Pretty much everybody involved in these gets royalty checks, which is why they do things like edit out Michael Buffers voice. Jamie Dundee just recently said he got a check for a few hundred dollars for the WM13 Chicago Street Fight since it was released on the Falls Count Anywhere set. Pretty sure Lance Storm confirmed he still gets royalties whenever something he did shows up on a release.

      • Mark D says:

I believe if you’ve worked for WWE previously you get royalties. I heard an interview with Bob Caudle (legendary Mid-Atlantic/NWA commentator) and he said he’d never received any (at the time of the interview). Also there is a lawsuit at the moment with Doug Somers regarding royalties etc. and of course Martha Hart hasn’t received anything.

  54. Dan Mader says:

    Damn good cover! Fantastic!

  55. Anonymous says:

    Looks Cool

  56. GREAT cover – Got a Royal Rumble 1991/2001 vibe.

  57. jgreeds says:

I don’t see how anybody could complain about this
