Blog: Review & Inside Look At WWE Legendary Moments DVD

September 28, 2010 by Danny Gowen

The WWE DVD Legendary Moments hosted by John Cena is gonna be released today. Since this is a Wal-Mart exclusive DVD and im now a Wal-Mart employee, I thought I would give every one the first look at this DVD as well as all the content listing. I made sure I was at Wal-Mart at 12:01 am to get one when they first get put out for sale.

For staters the DVD is 90 minutes long and not 60 like it was announced before. The price of the DVD can not be beat, you can pick this up for only $10 plus tax!

The DVD counts down some of the greatest moments in WWE history and is hosted by John Cena. Its put together really well in my opinion. Its a great pick of moments and Cena does a pretty good job at hosting them. All your favorites are here, from The Rock and Hogan, the attitude era, D-X, tribute to the troops, and even Shawn Michaels retirement. It does not have moments prior to the attitude era so no classic moments with Andre, piper, Jake Roberts, or any of the early legends. Also the segments are not in there entirety but you get a pretty good amount of time for them.

Here is the complete content/chapter listing for this dvd:

1. Cena Welcome

2. Austin Era

3. Degenerate Invasion

4. Millennium Man

5. This Is Your Life

6. Smackdown Terminated

7. Cena Intros Rock and Austin

8. Corporate Punishment

9. Got Beer?

10. Jimmy Cracked The Boss

11. TLC

12. The Great One

13. Game On

14. Cena Intros 9/11 Tribute

15. A Night To Remember

16. Cena Intros WWE Debut

17. My Time Is Now

18. Y2J Makes History

19. Bringing Down The House

20. The Face Of A Monster

21. The Champ Is Here

22. Cena Intros Billionaires

23. Battle Of The Billionaires

24. Viva La Raza

25. Icon Vs. The Great One

26. Money In The Bank

27. Two Words: We’re Back

28. Reys Rumble

29. You Cant See Me

30. Rumbling Return

31. Thats The Bottom Line

32. Legends Collide

33. Hart-Breaking Return

34. Shawn Retires

35. Tribute To The Troops

36. Cena Wrap-up

The bottom line with this DVD is that its not bad at all for being a single disc DVD compared to the 3 disc sets that we have gotten used to. If it would have been a 3 disc set it would have been one of the greatest, especially cause the segments would have been in full and might have had extras to go along with it cause there are no extras with this one. I do recommend picking this DVD up for your collection, for one its an Wal-Mart exclusive and we all know how exclusives end up. For 2 it has some great moments on it and for the price its a great deal.
