Blog: Review Of Satan’s Prison DVD & Best Place To Purchase (USA)

After picking up the new WWE DVD Satan’s Prison: The Anthology of the Elimination Chamber, I thought I would give you the inside scoop.

The DVD is put together really well, all of the elimination chamber matches are there. If you already have all the matches on the original DVD’s, you might think about passing it up. But if your the die hard WWE DVD collector (like me and the others that do posts for this site) you won’t be dissapointed at all. The matches are great and its nice to have them all on one dvd set. I recommend picking one up, it will be a nice addition to your collection.

When it comes to the Chris Benoit, there actually is some editing present. While Benoit is in the entire match from the start until he is eliminated, some of the commentary is edited. They dont block out all of the commentary when it comes to him but they do block it out when it has something to do with praising him. You will notice it when the commentary gets quiet for a few seconds. The main block out I noticed was when Benoit, Triple H, and Jericho were the 3 in the match and Triple H whipped Benoit to the corner and Jim Ross says Benoit beat Triple H at WrestleMania 20 for the World Heavyweight Title. Other than the commentary edits we get the complete match.

Now as for the cheapest price and what the stores are selling it for, like always K-Mart or Wal-Mart well be the cheapest place to go and buy it. Expect K-Mart and Wal-Mart to have it for between $19.99-$22.99, and expect Best Buy and FYE to have it for $21.99-$24.99.

Neither FYE or Best Buy well offer any kind of store exclusive for this DVD. Actually FYE has not had any kind of WWE DVD exclusive since WrestleMania 26 with the dog tag, and that sold out quickly!
