And btw Tna is the loser so far in that ratings war with total divas, lmao.

  2. Sheezy says:

I’m so sick of people acting like anytime WWE puts a Tna wrestler on a video they are doing it to bury Tna. like that’s what’s on their minds when they come up with these selections, ” how many matches can we put on here where he beats a Tna guy?”. I guarantee you WWE does not spend much time worrying about Tna considering that its more of a ratings competitor to total divas than it is to raw or smackdown. WWE has always treated sting with the utmost respect on home videos and otherwise, one reason being that they don’t want to sabotage a possible WWE run by sting.

  3. mark foster says:

Thank you wwe for putting together a great goldberg set.Fans who diddnt get to see how great a wrestler he was, watch the rick steiner, sid vicious, bret hart, the rock, triple h,scott hall ,and big show matches. Some of his matches were quick, but so were the road warriors the greatest tag team ever. Now i am looking forward to the mid south as well great wrestling. All i need to complete my collection is a utimate andre the giant collection

  4. Ryan says:

I knew there was a match against HBK! Glad it’s on the BR.

  5. Pee Wee says:

I’m surprised it left out his tag team title win with Bret Hart & chose his second yet one day U.S. title reign instead

  6. Erik G. says:

I just looked up the result of the Goldberg/Sting match and its obvious that its on here just to make a TNA wrestler look bad. Heres the description:

    http://www.ddtdigest.com/updates/1999111m.htm

    • David says:

I don’t think thats the case at all…its just one of those rare matches they wanted to include. Just last year they put two TNA guys (Sting and Flair) front and center on the Best of Clash DVD. If WWE wanted to make them look bad they would have put someone else.

  7. BR says:

This ladder match with Scott Hall must be damn good if people want it so bad.

  8. Erik G. says:

Is this the first set ever with Barbarian and Scott Norton?

    • Andres G. says:

I think that the Dusty Rhodes DVD had a match with the Powers of Pain, so that would be a no on the Barbarian (and, depending on what you’re counting as a set, I’m sure that there are also a few PPV DVDs, especially from the anthologies, that have matches featuring him). Don’t know about Scott Norton.

  9. Erik G. says:

Other than a bunch of squashes the only major omissions are one of the matches vs Saturn and vs Hall at Souled Out. I can’t really say if the Luger matches are good, but I think we have enough from the dying days of WCW.

  10. James says:

I rather see the ladder match with scott hall then the match with bret. That’s the one where bret got his head kicked in by Goldberg. why would wwe put the match that ended Bret’s run as a wrestler?

  11. Jeff copeland says:

Damn good match listing yea ladder vs hall would of been nice but vs sting from slamboree 99 was bad so yea better it be off this is so my birthday gift in oct for my self 😀

  12. Erik G. says:

Its Curt Hennig not Hollywood Hogan in the battle royal

    • Mark D says:

Well spotted, I have corrected that error now 🙂

      • Erik G. says:

        Thanks.

BTW, do you know if there will be a store exclusive DVD?

        • Erik G. says:

Maybe a store exclusive blu-ray also (which was mentioned on this site a few months ago) since 5 matches seems kind of skimpy when WWE has advertised 90 minutes of blu-ray exclusives in the past. I hope this isn’t one of those sets like nWo: The Revolution where WWE doesn’t even use all of the space they can use.

  13. David says:

Listing looks good…was hoping the Ladder match with Hall was included.

Was skeptical on this release when it was announced but it turned out pretty good…can’t go wrong with 35 matches, even though majority are less than 10 minutes.

  14. Erik G. says:

Well, I got the battle royal and the Bigelow match (was kind of expecting it since the match the Giant explains that feud so thats why its on there), so i’m satisfied. Still disappointed with no squashes but I can’t complain otherwise. Maybe there are store exclusive DVD matches coming? Anyone know? If they show short matches they could fit a few on there.

  15. NickP says:

    Awesome.

  16. Peach says:

Rejoice! Shawn, battle royal, Bret, Bam Bam and Sting! Everything everyone was saying was missing!

    • Erik G. says:

I think most people wanted the Slamboree match with Sting but this one is interesting since I don’t even remember it. I was quite surprised to see it.

I was really, really disappointed that a ton of squashes from the streak weren’t included. I can live without the another major matches that were missing. Those matches are the two PPV matches with Saturn and the Souled Out one vs Hall. To me, the lack of matches from the streak is unforgivable.

      • some guy says:

Why is it unforgiveable? Every single squash match is the same. Five minute entrance, spear, jackhammer, pin. The only difference is the jobber of the week.

  17. Timothy Thorpe says:

I love the match listing for the blu ray. Definitely a pre-order for me.

  18. Marcio says:

All its missing is the scott hall ladder match

  19. Anonymous says:

    Perfect. Absolutely perfect.

  20. Domenic says:

    YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  21. John Peterson says:

This set is so much better than a lot of us thought. Can’t wait for this set even though I ain’t the Biggest Goldberg Fan

  22. SRB says:

This entire set is a rainy day watch for me… meaning I’m gonna hang out all day order some slices and throw this bad boy into the player.

  23. Mongoose Wizard says:

Absolutely love it! The only other match I would have included is a bout with Saturn but other than that it’s a must BUY 🙂

  24. John says:

The bonus matches are good except for the Bret Hart vs Goldberg match which is already out

  25. Spritz1999 says:

After the blu-ray match listing… oh definitely!!! 🙂

  26. CrimeDawg says:

Gotta say, I wasn’t that excited about this one but the Blu-Ray stuff probably will make this a buy for me.

  27. ck says:

I could be wrong, but this is the first time WWE released a video collection with a Scott Norton match.

  28. zach says:

love it! definitely picking up the blu ray.

  29. Chad says:

def. picking the bluray up on release day. would like to change my vote from “Like it” to Love it” as well

  30. david says:

when i saw the full listing yesturday i said to myself i might buy it but after looking at the blu ray exclusives . its a must buy for me

  31. King_2099 says:

So the night he debuted on Raw won’t be on this set?

  32. Justin Greeder says:

Wow. Looks to be the rest of all the matches that everyone was clamoring for (squashes aside). I’d like to change my vote yesterday from “Like it” to “Love it”.
