Listed on WWE’s schedules now and expected for release in late October or November, the Brock Lesnar production will hit both DVD and Blu-ray formats.
If you’ve been following this site for some time, you may remember WWE were toying with producing a Brock Lesnar DVD project as far back as February 2011, even when he was not associated with the company and still under contract with UFC.
The Home Video (3-DVD, 2-BD) is still in the planning process has not yet been given a title, but check back soon for the latest developments and allocated release date.
This will be the second Brock Lesnar DVD that WWE has put out, following Here Comes The Pain! in 2003 during his first run. What are your views on a new one coming? Let us know in the comments section below.

Right on, I totally agree….with the exception of the Clash & the potential NWO sets & maybe the Taker streak sets, everything else this year has been pretty much shit…..it seems that Vince is so wrapped up in what all the newer fans & kids want & he’s forgotten what the REAL backbone (olddskool fans) are wanting….it’s one reason why I can’t stand Wwe.anymore….instead of getting something worth watching for our money like more WCW, NWA, Smoky mtn footage, we get the 700th f***ing Rock or Cena DVD…..Idk anymore.
Since the first release didn’t even cover all of his first run, I guess this is worth doing. It will feature some early classics covered on that first release, plus the stuff onwards up to WM XX, plus his Cena/HHH matches and anything he MAY do at Survivor Series, I guess. I have a feeling it will be a match anthology rather than a documentary though. His life story prior to sports was pretty much covered on the first DVD, so I would say it’s full match time.
His first disc set was pretty good and basically covered all the highlights of his two year career. The only thing missing was the Iron Man Match against Kurt Angle on Smackdown!
Wouldn’t it be something if the WWE finds a way to put his important UFC matches on this DVD set? He did mention UFC alot in his promos when he came back.
i dont see wwe paying royalties to the ufc to use brock’s fights for the dvd. i only see highlights of his ufc career being used for the dvd purposes … however i’d like to see his first fight vs. frank mir and the fight against shane carwin.
I really think this will flop I mean really the only great match Brock has I feel was when he faced The Undertaker at Hell in the cell and made the Undertaker bleed like never before I mean Mark I thought was going to die he lost so so much blood .It one of 2 of the most goriest matches I have ever seen .
Besides those three don’t forget the stretcher match with Big Show, that was a fun match. I also remember him and Rey having a real good match on Smackdown. Plus the Rock from Summerslam 2002 and the Global Warning triple threat with Rock and Triple H would be cool for those who haven’t seen it yet. Let’s not forget he had a really entertaining match with Cena earlier this year.
And as for the Hell in a Cell match with Taker, yeah it was awesome. I’m jealous though, you being on a first name basis with Undertaker and all. Wish I had that kinda “insider” perspective lol.
Some UFC footage could actually be very possible. Not full fights, but some highlight clips. If you remember when Brock debuted for UFC, WWE allowed them to use highlights of his WWE career during the build up to his first UFC fight. I don’t see UFC having any problem returning the favor to WWE.
I think it may be possible that some UFC footage (or stills at the very least) could be used on this set. Vince has a very good relationship with Dana White; they have met several times in the past and Dana always speaks very highly of McMahon.
I would like this one to feature a full ‘no holds barred’ documentary covering Brock’s entire WWE career and his exploits outside of the ring with UFC, football, the lawsuit/IWGP, his illness, leaving WWE and then his return. It would be nice to see WWE reach out for interview footage with Dana White, in addition to people like: Rock, Sable, Zach Gowen, Goldberg and other UFC/MMA personalities.
I’m not a huge Lesnar fan so I’d rather want what we still haven’t got yet! That is mainly an original DX Blu-Ray w/all D-X members from start to finish, A HHH Blu-ray and Im hoping to see a Blu-Ray release which includes the title Vs title match of Hogan Vs Warrior at WM6!
I’m also, STILL waiting to see the next ‘Greatest Rivlaries’ after the Bret/Shawn version of possibly Rock n Austin!
Either way it’s going to be interesting DVD of Brock Lesnar. I hope sometime next year they will release, Stone vs Rock Rivalry DVD, along Triple H documentary DVD, also with Ted Dibiase DVD that’s long overdue and my understanding they are planning doing a Documentary on mid south championship with Bill watts. But anyways i look forward to the Brock lesnar DVD.

Overall I think this is a very positive idea. I never did get a chance to see Cena/Lesnar and am glad it will most likely be on this release. I’m pretty sure we will get to see a documentary and most likely this DVD was discussed in Lesnar’s recent contract signing. Being a former champ Lesnar did have huge moments with Angle, Undertaker, Big Show and Rock, so we’re not short on content in the least. Glad to see that WWE is going back through their old 1 disc releases and are now bringing us the sets we deserve like the NWO and now this. Here’s hoping for another look at The Ultimate Warrior, which will probably never happen.

I’m always amazed when people want a Goldberg DVD, what would go on it? Golberg/Hogan for the 5th or 6th time? His blah matches with Triple H? The epic with Lesnar? Ok, I could see the DDP match, maybe a match with Raven, but beyond that? The squash matches during the streak. Even with a doc a 3 disc Goldberg set could hold 63 matches.

I cant wait. I have been a huge Brock fan since I saw him in OVW. I have the Here Comes the Pain DVD, but I have always wanted a 3 disc set. Brock had to extremely hot years with WWE and a 3 disc set will be able to have every meaningful match Brock ever had. I hope they put his matches with Shannon Moore on there. I have never seen one human being throw another that far in my life.
I’d guess, at most, some discussion about MMA in the documentary but no actual UFC footage whatsoever. I think Punk can get them stretch to an indy match or two sprinkled into his DVD, but only because it’s pro wrestling too.

i’d like to see the japan triple threat match where he won the title as well as the one against kurt angle (in japan) where angle beat lesnar.

This is such an Epic waste of Time for this one for sure and I thought The Cena Rock was a waste of time and money I was wrong .

If nothing else, this should have his matches versus Flair on Raw and versus Hogan on Smackdown.
