Chris Jericho was recently interviewed by Monday Night Mayhem and one of the topics discussed was his upcoming WWE DVD (Breaking the Code: Behind the Walls of Chris Jericho). As usual Jericho was not one to reveal too much information ahead of time but he offered some interesting insight.
As far as the production of the DVD he said he put a lot of effort into this himself, which may mean he had a say on which matches were to be included. Jericho also said a DVD release on him is long overdue and is amazed it has taken so long, but that this means the DVD will feature a lot of his career.
In terms of matches to be included, Jericho kept to those already announced such as his first match with Lance Storm in Ponoka, Alberta (October 1990) and confirmed the inclusion of his match with Ultimo Dragon from Japan which took place in 1995.
The DVD is to be released in September which is around the same time his WWE contract is set to expire. As far as his future in the WWE, Jericho said he has “no reason to walk away from the WWE right now and he ain’t going anywhere”. So the rumors can be put to rest and we can expect to see him plugging his new DVD on Raw!
