Rumor has it that Swerved, one of the WWE Network’s most popular shows right now, has been cancelled due to complaints from talent. However, we’re seeing that a new episode featuring The Boogeyman is set to air next Monday in its usual time slot after RAW.

One theory is that WWE will not renew Swerved for a second season but continue to show the remaining episodes in this one… or, we could of course all just be getting “swerved” ourselves!

An exclusive source just passed along this 2 minute first look preview clip of the next episode to share with you, the WrestlingDVDNetwork.com readers. Get a taster, then catch the full length episode – titled “The Boogeyman Is Real” – over on the Network, should it still go ahead.

Subscribe to the WWE Network to watch the (possible) continuation of Swerved next week!

There were also rumors circulating that this week’s Stone Cold Podcast wouldn’t be going ahead due to being replaced by a tribute to the late “Rowdy” Roddy Piper who tragically passed last week, but as of the time of writing WWE is still advertising the podcast for tonight.

As reported, Paige will be joining Steve Austin as the special guest of this edition.

I miss the Boogeyman! Loved the gimmick, wish WWE would bring it back.

I’m with you there.. loved that freak, surreal charachter.. the ultra brief moment he had in the Rumble this year was just a poor PG-version.. not even smashing the clock on his head, loved that crazy gimmick move..

I wish, WWE would drop the attitude-era and ruthless agression-era charachters “comebacks” / revivals.. they loose their magic in the Sesame street kidz-version of WWE.. another horrible example was The Godfather’s appearence at the Rumble in 2013..why, oh, why, when H0-train is a forbidden word..
