The cover is fine it looks great he’s in his Chicago gear he’s holding his pipe bomb only thing i don’t like is they took off the Drug from his hand. He;s sends a positive message about being Drug Free and yet they still remove it. In my opinion they should have took off Free then if there gonna take off the Drug it looks silly now, Whatever WWE i just give up on there way of thinking.

As far as CM Punk tuning heel i love it. i like him as a face but like him better as a heel. He will be starting his Revolution X stable soon in the weeks to come. Maybe at Summerslam we’ll have to wait and see. This will also set up his mach with SCSA at Wrestlemania 29 perfectly now as well.

  4. Mongoose Wizard says:

I don’t wanna make a fuss but why does CM Punk’s DVD only has a few matchs I mean I can understand Stone Cold, The Rock, and Edge’s DVD only having a few since they have had previous DVD’s that had tons of matches but why only give a Punk a few matches? They say those 11 matches are carrer spanning matches. It feels like it’s just a glimpse of his carrer. I’m still looking forward to this release but why do this?

notice cm punk’s right hand doesnt say drug…

  6. Vincenzzzzzo says:

Can’t wait to get the blu-ray. I’m almost certain they’ll have his classics with D Bryan on there too.

  7. Gavin says:

I dont think Punk will be a fully-fledged heel. Kids are less likely to purchase a product with a heel’s likeness on it (it’s the reason John Cena will never turn heel). Punk will be a tweener like he was in the buildup to Money in the Bank 2011.

I expect Punk to blur the lines again between heel and babyface, siting his position in the company as his reason for turning on The Rock and Cena, despite him holding the WWE Championship.

This artwork looks amazing and I fully expect this set to sell very well. Trust me, Punk will be a good guy by the time it’s released.

  8. Roaster says:

So glad he’s hopefully going back heel. He was corny as hell as a face. Getting this on blu. Can’t wait.

  9. Marco says:

    Why, Punk, why? (crying)

  10. Anonymous says:

Looks like they’re going to turn him heel right before the video comes out. Brilliant. Get the kids hating him and then not wanting to buy this.

    • Vincenzzzzzo says:

Why do you care who buys and who doesn’t? What does it matter to you?

      • Anonymous says:

It doesn’t matter to me personally, I was just thinking about from Punk’s and WWE’s point of view. It’s going to effect Punk’s wallet. There’s a reason we don’t see too many DVDs of current bad guys. Edge’s first, Jericho, the Bryan one coming out soon. Of all the DVD’s they’ve done that’s all I can think of. As for me personally, I’m going to buy this regardless, I’m a big Punk fan.

        • Vincenzzzzzo says:

I get what you’re saying. I think it’ll still sell well though. Brock Lesnars re-release of Here Comes The Pain will also be out soon and I don’t see him turning face anytime soon either, so, who knows.

  11. SRB says:

I think it’s a good cover. It’ll stand out on the shelves, which seems to be pretty important to people and adding the mic is a good idea since you never know what he’s gonna say next. Not too sure about what the background has to do with anything though? Is that Big Ben back there?

    • Steve says:

FYi the backround is part of Chicago. The “Big Ben” looking clock is the Wrigley Building downtown and the towers to the right are the famous parking towers/condos seen in the Blues Brothers.

      • SRB says:

ahhhhh i knew i was missing something

        • Harry Faversham says:

I would never have known that either Essssss Arrrrgghh Bee. I wasn’t sure what to make of this cover at first but I think I really like it now. Its different in a good way I think and better than some of the covers that have various pictures shoved together. I think I’ve gotten over my intial disappointment with the match list and will probably get this one because I like the man himself. In the same was that I always felt the Mr. Perfect and Bobby Heenan DVDs were poor efforts, I had to have them out of respect for the man. And I’m starting to like Punk more and more, so that blu ray could look good in my collection.

I’ll pass on this one also not really a fan of punk
