We’re pleased to announce that the fine folks behind the recently launched @ColiseumVideo Twitter account are set to tag team with WWEDVDNews.com, to give you a trip down memory lane!
Expect a nostalgia-inducing weekly blog here on the site, all about those Coliseum Home Video classics and blasts from the past. There may be a giveaway or two thrown in too.
Oooh, just writing this brings back a few childhood memories. If CHV had never gone away what would the latest Stone Cold release look like?
Ah, something like that I suppose!
Stay tuned.
I have SO MANY Coliseum Video tapes! I would be excited to see all of them rereleased on DVD and perhaps a whole bunch of uniquely created collections from the archives. Each sold separately. Dig it!
I own a lot of Coliseum Videos and would pay to have them on DVD! There are great matches plus the company took greater care – more than they do now sadly with matches taken from the TV shows. I have some that you know are from RAW or Superstars, but they are re-edited so we see the entire match, not the chopped out versions due to the commercial breaks. It’s a shame that Vince doesn’t seem to care anymore just wants out money or it sure seems that way.
With this should be re-releases of every Coliseum Video release ever, including ppv’s and non ppv’s. It would be this fan’s dream come true!
I LIKE THE 1980’S COLISEUM VIDEO THE BEST WITH THE COOL THEME IN THE BEGINNING AND SEEING HOSTS LIKE VINCE MCMAHON,MEAN GENE,GORILLA MONSOON,AND LORD ALFRED HAYES. SOME OF THE BEST FORGOTTEN MATCHES IN WWE HISTORY.
I’ve got so many, including ultra rares like in your house 2 4 5 12
I like it!!!
cool
Awesome!
@SRB
“They’re big enough to be talkin’ tuff”
hahahaha, yes! classic. Good times.
@Vincenzzzzzo Remember they would play like 8 in a row? 1 for the ring, 1 for the talking figures, 1 for the tag teams, 1 for singles wrestlers and then a bunch with Savage, Piper and Warrior. “They’re big enough to be talkin’ tuff” lol
I would love it if my tweet the other day (@biggie2911) had something to do with this 🙂
Awesome. I really love VHS TApes!
I used to LOVE the WWE action figure commercials in the beginning of the videos.
“So close to the real thing…it’s like being in the ring”.
LOL!

Woo Hoo!
Looks like it would be a great 18 VHS tape set lol
