Coliseum Corner: What Would Recent WWE DVD’s Look Like CHV Style?

February 21, 2012 by @ColiseumVideo

Hello everyone and welcome to the latest installment of Coliseum Corner! Lord Alfred Hayes here and this week we have a special release for your enjoyment. Ever wonder what the current WWE DVD releases would look like if they were still distributed by Coliseum Video? If you were a fan of the WWE growing up, some of the VHS designs are no doubt etched into your memory. Whether it was a Survivor Series release with all the teams on the back cover, the Wrestlemania VI cover with Warrior & Hogan or the painted Royal Rumble covers with the superstars walking down the alley… those designs bring back all the childhood memories of being a WWE fan.

What if Coliseum Video was still the distributor for WWE Home Video releases? Would those popular designs and concepts of the 80’s/90’s still translate to the current WWE Universe?

We think they would!

This week our graphics team partnered up with @_MarkD_ to bring you visual concepts on what recent WWE Home Video releases would look like through the eyes of Coliseum Video!

Summerslam 2011

Stone Cold Steve Austin: The Bottom Line on the Most Popular Superstar of All Time

Greatest Rivalries: Shawn Michaels VS. Bret Hart

Royal Rumble 2012

The Epic Journey of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson

Have a favorite? Do you think the 80’s/90’s style designs still hold up?

Post your thoughts, then send us future suggestions through Twitter… @ColiseumVideo . Also.. be sure to give Mark’s awesome Fantasy Concept posts a look!

See you next week for an exciting new release…
