We now have indications as to what the 2014 WWE DVD/Blu-ray schedule looks like the rest of the year, and it includes the rumored “Macho Man” Randy Savage documentary!
The confirmed titles now appear on multiple UK retail sites including Amazon.
So, as of now, the WWE DVD and Blu-ray titles joining those we already know about (Paul Heyman, OMG! Volume 2, Sting, Brothers of Destruction and John Cena) will be…
The Attitude Era – Volume 2
Follow up of the popular 2012 Attitude Era set.
Expected in November as a three disc DVD and two disc Blu-ray.
Slam City
Budget release of the animated series, possibly UK exclusive.
Expected in November as a single disc DVD release.
Macho Man – The Randy Savage Story
Second Randy Savage WWE DVD, now with a documentary.
Expected in November as a three disc DVD and two disc Blu-ray.
Top Giants In Wrestling History
Recently confirmed and pushed back Giants DVD.
Expected in December as a three disc DVD and two disc Blu-ray.
“Best Pay-Per-View Matches 2014” will probably close out the year, as is usually the case.
Shown in the image below are all sightings (so far) of the new WWE “network style” logo on the cover artwork of upcoming DVD/Blu-ray titles.
The new logo reportedly comes into effect on August 18th, replacing the “scratch” logo for all branding, including on-screen for television and consumer products.
As mentioned, “YouShoot: Shane Helms” was released yesterday both as a physical DVD and streaming on demand. You can get your copy over at KayfabeCommentaries.com.

I would love for the WWE Home Video Department to release the Legends of Wrestling Roundtable Discussions. Any chance more of those will be forthcoming to DVD soon?
No….
They released six of them, a few years ago. They included matches, but were among the worst selling DVDs of all time. Personally I love them as well, but don’t expect any more to be released. 31 of the 33 shows are on the Network so there is that
I was hoping for a Bruno Sammartino DVD/Blu-Ray to come out this year.
Thanks Daniel for your reply
Hope the attitude era vol.2 finally has the segment from the go home raw to survivor series 2001 with stone cold and rock taking the mic away from each other and singing.
That wasn’t part of The Attitude Era. That was part of The Invasion. The Attitude Era officially ended the night after WrestleMania X7
Why then?
Because it was the first Raw without any competition from Nitro, the first Raw after Stone Cold turned heel, the first Raw where basically the downfall of the TV ratings and PPV buys began. Mania 17 is generally considered one of the best, if not the best, Manias of all time and most people look at that as the swan song of the Attitude era.
Hey @WWEHomeVideo, what about:
1. The Best of WWE Superstars (of Wrestling) 5-disc DVD set featuring 12 full-length episodes, including the first episode that aired on September 6th, 1986, and the special: “Superstars: The Best of 10 Years” that aired on September 15th, 1996
2. The No Way Out Complete Anthology 12-disc DVD set featuring all 12 “No Way Out” Pay-Per-View events from 1998 to 2012
3. Survivor Series Anthology Volumes 3, 4, 5 and 6 DVD sets with even more “Survivor Series” Pay-Per-View events from 1997 to 2014
And there’s plenty more where they cam from. I’m just saying and asking.
Here’s my fantasy concept for Macho Man DVD, let me know what you think:

p.s. Show APA beat the s**t out of Public Enemy on Attitude 2
No Daniel Bryan set this year I take it?
Im excited to see the Attitude Era II & The Macho Man set w/his Documentary! Although I would also like to see an older set which includes these matches;
– SSlam 92 – HBK Vs Rick Martel.
– WM8 – Bret Vs Piper – IC Title, Savage Vs Flair- WWF Title.
– WM9 – Crush Vs Doink, Luger Vs Mr Perfect, The Undertaker Vs Giant Gonzalez, & Bret Hart Vs Yokozuna – WWF Title.
– SSlam 94 – The Undertaker Vs The Undertaker, Bret Hart Vs Owen Hart; Steel Cage – WWF Title.
– Royal Rumble 95/96 – HBK.
– SSlam 1997 – Bret Hart Vs The Undertaker (HBK – Sp Ref).
– Bad Blood 1997 – HBK Vs Undertaker -HIAC-WWF Title & MANY MORE!!!
excited for volume 2 of attitude era & macho man dvd plus wrestling giants can be good….oh yeaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!! take my damn paycheck already!
I like these DVD’s look forward to seeing them and for 2015 I want to see ECW Unreleased Volume 3, Around the World, WrestleMania Main Events, and something else that I can’t think of at the moment.
All those DVD releases sound good. I even like the Slam City one. That’s a funny little cartoon I think. Macho Man documentary will be good, but more than likely repeat matches as expected. Macho Madness had just about all of Savage’s awesome matches on there already.
Very excited for Attitude Era Volume 2 and Macho Man. Hopefully the former includes Austin blowing up The DX Express Bus. One of my all-time favorite moments
In 2015 I hope we see Best Of Nitro Volume 3 and Best Of WCW Thunder
The Best of WCW Thunder!? There’s a single-disc release if there ever was one. 🙂
At the mid point of the year, how many matches would REALLY qualify for Best PPV matches?
Bryan vs Wyatt at RR
Wyatts vs Shield at Elimination Chamber
Triple H vs Bryan at WM
Shield v Evolution at Extreme Rules
Usos vs Harper & Rowan at MITB
Are these all US dates? So we can expect them a month later here in the UK? Yes in 2015 I want a Nitro vol 3 and ECW Vol 3 to finish of the volumes
It’s based off UK dates but you may not have noticed that they (WWEDVD.co.uk) have been getting them out quick in the same month as the US, sometimes just before the US.
niiiice.. now we only need a second volume of Falls Count anyway, a third set of Nitro and above all, a 3rd vo. of ECW unreleased.. but, shall also be something to look forward to in 2015, so for now: sweeeeeet.. 🙂
vo. = vol.
Am hoping that the Attitude Era II has some of the unreleased WWF Title changes. Namely, Triple H vs. Vince McMahon (Smackdown, 9/14/99), the 6-Pack Challenge (Unforgiven ’99), and The Big Show vs. Triple H (Raw, 1/3/00). The Rock vs. Kurt Angle from No Mercy ’00 would be good too, but they’re probably saving that for the inevitable Angle DVD someday.
