Ronda Rousey Featured on WWE 'Best PPV Matches 2018' DVD Cover!

Let’s get a look at the cover artwork for WWE’s first 3-disc DVD collection planned for next year!

Following the usual pattern WWE DVDs in 2019 will kick off with a retrospective of stand-out matches witnessed this year with “Best Pay-Per-View Matches 2018”.

These PPV-themed Home Video features typically pack in around 15 to 20 full-length matches and the cover artwork of the next edition reveals what one of those matches will be: Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle vs. Stephanie McMahon and Triple H from WrestleMania 34!

What’s left of the front cover, and the official synopsis, give us some hints at several other matches slated for inclusion – the Triple Threat Intercontinental title match between The Miz, Seth Rollins and Finn Bálor (also from WrestleMania), Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman’s match inside Hell in a Cell, the women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, Roman Reigns vs. Bobby Lashley from Extreme Rules, and one match Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair had during their feud from either Hell in a Cell, Super Show-Down or the all-women’s Evolution PPV.

The new “Best Pay-Per-View Matches 2018” DVD has been scheduled for release to fans in the UK on January 14th and pre-orders are about to go live here on Amazon.co.uk. A release date for the United States has not yet been set but is expected to fall in the same week as the UK if not before, while as we’ve mentioned previously Canada gets it on January 22nd.

Wow. The comments are working again. Good stuff.

    • RabidHeat says:

I do wonder whether WDN did it on purpose to give us all a break form each other and stop bickering, lol. I must admit, I do feel better in myself for not getting into arguments over DVDs lately.

      • LP1 says:

Give it time. I say the over-under is less than 2 weeks before people start losing it again. lol

        • RabidHeat says:

Haha, well I can only speak for myself but I’m gonna start my New Year’s Resolution early and try to stop being the douche that I could feel myself becoming.

          Only love, RH

  2. Travis says:

Clearly, Rollins/Ambrowse vs. Ziggler/McIntyre from Hell in a Cell was too good to be considered worthy of Best of 2018 material.

  3. RabidHeat says:

I’m a bit disappointed that so much time ia gonna be taken up with the men’s Rumble match as per the full listing on WWEDVD.co.uk. I think most of us purchase the Rumble DVD anyway so will already have it and it’s a long match. Still, I understand that they can’t really put Brock/Strowman/Kane on any set with the word “Best” in the title. But I feel that’s WWE’S fault so it’s a shame the paying customer suffers for it.

I’m also a bit disappointed that the best stuff from GRR and SSD isn’t included, as it means I’ll probably end up having to buy the DVDs of those two glorified House Shows now, but I’m sure they’ve done that on purpose. Crown Jewel on the other hand can take a running jump. There’s no way I’m buying that dog’s breakfast of a PPV on DVD!

    • Ruthless.Attitude.Eras.4Life says:

Crown Jewel was so flat, that even KOTR 1995 looks like a masterpiece! The best and only match worthy even being mentioned, would be AJ vs Joe…but even that felt completely flat compared to their previous 3 great matches, espeically since it in Saudi was a normal match, which felt very odd to watch, since their previous match was a NO DQ with some sort of closure to the story for that moment at least.

  4. Ruthless.Attitude.Eras.4Life says:

wwedvd.co.uk actually already have listed the complete content of Best of PPV matches on their site.. for the first time in this series a complete Royal Rumble match will be featured and – up to this date, for me at least – the best PPV match for sure, in The Last Woman standing match.

    • Ruthless.Attitude.Eras.4Life says:

WOOOOOO… The Cesaro section.. wooops.. I mean, the Comment section is up and working again!? 😉
