Going to add this to my collection May 31st. Got the money set aside. Probably getting it at Walmart. I missed it when it aired looking forward to adding to my collection. Looked like a good event.

  2. Robert emons says:

Is this the payback 2016 for the US also?

  3. RabidHeat says:

Whoa – £17.99 pre-order price for the DVD version? Don’t know what Amazon is thinking, that’s the price of a 3-disc set. Does make WWEDVD.co.uk look more like a bargain though.

  4. Donald says:

Shipping is the downside, I’ll pass. Good cover though.

  5. Eric says:

I loathe Roman Reigns, but I have to admit that the match at Payback was one hell of a match.

    • Jeff Copeland says:

honestly hes not that bad, depending on who he faces.

like bray wyatt was a ok feud and matches were good.

big show EHHH but i did enjoy there last man standing at extreme rules 2015

vs seth rollins on and off feud good matches and even 1 off feud he had with daniel bryan that match at fastlane 2015 was his best he had so far

      • LP1 says:

A lot of people don’t even know why they hate Reigns. They just boo him because they think it’s the cool thing to do now. If you ask someone why they boo him they’re most likely to say something like “Uhh, cause he sucks”. Really? No he doesn’t. He’s not the greatest of all time or anything, but he doesn’t suck. It was one thing when people booed him last year duding the build up to Mania 31 because they wanted Bryan in the spot and they were sending a message to WWE. Bryan hasn’t wrestled in over a year and people are booing Reigns now because they think they’re smart. They’re not. The real smart fans understand that Reigns works hard and busts his ass. This isn’t a Cena situation where the guy’s been on top forever and people want something new. What’s happening with Reigns is we’ve had a whole generation of fans growing up with “Let’s go Cena! Cena sucks!” so now they think this is the thing to do now. It’s ignorance. Guaranteed if Reigns goes full blown heel, those same fans who thinks he “sucks” will start cheering him all of a sudden. Not because his workrate suddenly got way better, but because they want to get themselves over by going against the grain.

        • LP1 says:

*during the build up to Mania 31

        • Ruthless.Attitude.Eras.4Life says:

Even if Roman would go 100 % heel, he still suck.. because of his lack of talent? I’m not a huge fan of the Roman Empire, but the guy definitely has the IT factor..

so why then? Clearly, imo, because of the horrible kidz orientated Snapchat-Twitter-PC-“Reality”tv- based over-scripted product.

Sure.. the basic lines needs to be drawn by management, aka Vince.. but, since WWE choose to commit them selfs to everything else but entertaining wrestling performance and storylines, that they used to be the ultimate best at, the result is talent, that only can work within certain limits, that actually hold them back.

The day they changed the Cena finisher name from FU to AA, was one of the many gray days of WWE in the cause of the last 6-7 years. Which has morphed into more and more boring “nothing”-ness for each year.

        • David says:

I like Reigns, sure he isn’t the best wrestler in the world, but he certainly isn’t the worst. Lot of wrestlers have praised Reigns, hell even Bret Hart who has been tearing apart WWE booking and some wrestlers in interviews and he also praised Reigns, his ability and work ethic.

I could see why Vince is investing in Reigns.

A huge reason for the Reigns hate is because he’s someone that a ton of smarks know for a fact that Vince personally chose and likes as reported by Meltzer. That’s it. That’s the primary reason a lot of them give him crap; booing him relentlessly is their way of being rebellious.

When the Shield broke up Reigns was probably the most over guy and usually got the loudest pops of the night but around that summer/fall Meltzer was mentioning how Vince is grooming Reigns as his guy and thats around the time he got injured too and came back at the Rumble…when the IWC’s boyfriend Daniel Bryan returned they wanted him to take Reign’s spot which basically started the hate on Reigns to this day and fans think Reigns “stole” Bryan’s spot and still have not forgiven him.

However, i agree the booking of Reigns wasn’t the best especially the whole lonney tunes references which i think hurt him and WWE really should have kept him as the silent ass kicking badass like he was in the Shield, or even like when he attached HHH at TLC. But I think they are going in the right direction now with the whole “I am not a good guy, not a bad guy but THE GUY”, at least its playing off to the crowd reactions and could see a full blown heel turn, possibly when Seth Rollins comes back and feuds with him. Wouldn’t be surprised when HHH comes back he will side with Reigns as his “new future of WWE”, pushing aside Rollins and there you have a ready made feud into Summerslam quite possibly.

          • LP1 says:

I think before we get to the Reigns vs Rollins feud, I’m pretty sure we’re gonna get a Shield reunion first to face the Bullet/Balor Club. Even if it’s a temporary reunion. I can totally see the Usos being taken out and then Ambrose steps in to help Reigns, and finally Rollins returns to be the last piece of the puzzle. Rollins would get a huge babyface pop and the fans would go apeshit when the 3 of them do the Shield fist pose. I can absolutely see that scenario playing out.

            • Jeff Copeland says:

i read something tommy dreamer said that they should wait to turn reigns when rollins comes back. to that i agree, do i hate to say a reash of night after payback 2014

Let the shield reunite for a bit vs the club and then have hhh come out be like hey you used to be our boy what happend?

seth goes blood is thicker then greed and then…… SPEAR!!! from roman to seth dean goes O.O!!! WTF BRO NOOO spear to dean.. xD

  6. Nicolas Hébert says:

The picture of Scott Hall (Razor Ramon) on the Steelbook Blu-Ray is the same as the infamous Yellow T-Shirt they sold in the mid 90… (I had that shirt…)

  7. LP1 says:

Cool cover for Payback. This is one example where the event poster wouldn’t have made sense for a home video cover since none of the Wyatts were even on the show. Nice to see Styles on the cover of a WWE release after all these years.
