Wait … Kevin Owens is Canadian?!?
He is from Quebec.
Yep, from Marieville Québec Canada. 40 minutes east from Montreal on the Road 112.
i saw 5 dollar deal thought it was walmart sale NOOOOO!!!!! >.<!!! DANG IT i am starting to think we arnt gonna get the yearly wwe walmart sale 🙁
So this will be the first blu-ray in history where the full Mania event won’t fit on 1 disc. That sucks. That was one of the advantages of buying Mania on BR, so that you can watch the whole thing on 1 disc. Again, was it really necessary to have a 5 hour show?
I know some prefer it on 2 discs.
Like who? Why would anyone prefer having a show split on 2 discs when they can have the whole show on 1 disc? That’s just insane to even suggest that. What’s the upside in having it on 2 discs instead of 1?
Ugly cover but it is nice to see Trish on it though
I caved and ordered the damn thing. It’s probably crap, and I HATE buying DVDs now, but the collector in me couldn’t pass it up.
Uh, Roddy Piper??? HELLO??? What the hell, WWE?
Piper wasn’t billed from being from Canada. He was always “Glasgow, Scotland”.
The actual event was about 4 hours 50 minutes and disc 1 BD is 4.5 hours, wonder what they are cutting out…unless the remaining is on disc 2.
Also with 4k TVs and Ultra HD Blu-rays being released as UHD + BD Combos, I wonder if WWE will offer UHD combo packs in the near future – maybe in a year or two, starting with WM, which likely means they have to upgrade their HD equipment. However given their track record with still releasing HD events on DVD to this day they probably won’t adapt for another 10-15 years, so really don’t have my hopes up but 4k really is awesome, especially with sports.
We are a LONG way from WWE releasing 4k UHDs. I love them, and I’m literally buying them all (that I don’t already have on BR), but the format is a LONG way from being secure. Disc sales period were down over 12% last year and people STILL buy more DVDs than Blu Rays. 4k TVs ARE here to stay. The 4k BR format, however, is completely up in the air. You’re talking about a company that still releasing, what, 50-75% of it’s stuff DVD only. If there is EVER a WWE 4k BR, I will be VERY surprised.
Disney I think just releases Blu-ray combo packs.
Looking at the time mark on the Network, it looks like disc 1 will end right after the Rock segment with the Wyatts and disc 2 will pick up with HHH vs Reigns. That sucks. Also I highly doubt WWE will be jumping into the 4K game, if at all. Maybe WrestleMania will get a 4K. And that’s a big maybe. WWE is still stuck in the late 90s, selling ppvs on DVD.
No Bret Hart on the cover? That guy is the best Canadian Wrestler of all time and it’s not on the cover… WOW!!!
Bret has been on a lot of covers so he does not need to be the canadian cover
Hbk is on every cover possible…. But a Canadian DVD with no bret hart…. So dumb. It’s like making a Monday night war dvd with just dx on the front, or a wcw dvd with shane and Vince on it…
Ill still buy but just wanted to have my daily wrestling fan complaint.
