News broke here at WrestlingDVDNews.com in recent weeks that WWE has a DVD/Blu-ray on The Kliq and a reunion show in the works for later this year:

First Details on “The Kliq Rules” – WWE Network Show & Expanded DVD…

The reunion show with Kliq members Triple H, Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman is still rumored to be an upcoming WWE Network special, though there has been no official announcement made by the company up to now.

In any event, “THE KLIQ RULES”, a new 3 disc DVD set and a 2 disc Blu-ray set, is confirmed to be on the way and is slated to include that reunion show, a new documentary feature, plus a compilation of matches and moments involving each of the aforementioned stars.

The Home Video releases on July 28th and can be pre-ordered here on Amazon.com.

The font on the updated cover borrows from that used on WWE’s newly released Kliq T-Shirt.

Coincidentally, that shirt is included in a WWEShop $19.99 Authentic Tees sale running today only on the site. Find that here on WWEShop.com or by clicking the image below.

Why do this. I’m tired of these guys I’m dying to see a jimmy snuka, srg. slaughter, harley race, the funks the briscos and for gods sake please make a bruno sammartino doc. PLEEEASE!!!

  2. Erbo Proxy says:

So know I guess that the Official Revisionist History is that Hall & Nash’s WWF departure was “dividing & conquering”.

The match list will have to be really good for me to buy this one. I wouldn’t be interested in a circle-jerk like documentary about how great everybody were and ended up owning the business.

    • Foley is Good says:

Yeah I love how ruining other peoples careers are “antics”. So we get this circle jerk special instead of Bruno, Andre the Giant, Rick Rude, or Booker T. Yes I know these assholes will sell better but it still feels lame.

  3. Vintage Simon says:

A good dark horse for the set would actually be Diesel vs. Sid at IYH 2. Michaels, Hall, Waltman and Triple H all served as lumberjacks.

  4. Nicolas Hébert says:

I want Razor vs Diesel from Superstars in 1994 one month after Wrestlemania X. One of the best match on Superstar!!! Oh wait… I have this on The Greatest Superstars of the 90s…

  5. champz44 says:

Well i personally not really into getting this title but would love to see WWE release the WWE Elimination Chamber 2015 PPV DVD.

  6. RabidHeat says:

I have zero interest in this, personally. All they were was a group of friends that looked out for each other, played politics and didn’t care if they trampled on other people to get what they wanted. I’m not interested in seeing that glorified. They weren’t even an on-screen faction, which makes it even more silly. Not arguing with anybody who thinks otherwise, but those are just my thoughts, lol.

  7. LP1 says:

They actually could get away with doing an entire DVD/BR with nothing but matches featuring them all against eachother. The Razor vs 123 Kid matches from Raw in 1993, the Razor vs heel 123 Kid feud from late 1995-early 1996, The Diesel vs Razor IC Title matches, the Shawn vs HHH series of matches from 2002-2006, the HHH vs Nash series from 2003 and 2011, Shawn vs Kid from Raw in March 1996, Shawn vs HHH from Raw in May 1996, Shawn vs Diesel Mania XI and In Your House, the Shawn vs Razor ladder matches(I know, blasphemy), Razor & Kid vs Diesel & Shawn from Action Zone in October 1994, Hall vs Nash in WCW, Shawn vs Razor from Raw in August 1994, X-Pac vs HHH from 1999, Shawn vs HHH in the fake match from Raw in December 1997, any Coliseum Video exclusive matches from the early-mid 90s involving those guys. Not saying it would be the greatest set of matches or anything, but theoretically they could go down that route and have plenty of material to work with.

  8. motorhead says:

Maybe the entire MSG “Curtain Call” incident will be included. Match AND incident. Maybe both matches. Who knows. That would be just about the only way to entice me to buy it. DVDs, since the Network, have become “Meh…” to me.

  9. attitude.era.4life says:

hope, one of the moments will have the Sledge hammer on a Pole ladder match from TLC 2011 on this..while the match it self is a bit slow paced, the ending is cool with Nash doing the Kliq sign and Hunter’s reply.

  10. Kliq says:

Too bad the Kliq never made it as a real stable in WWE. I would have loved to see that, also have Kliq entrance music as well. The closest that came to be was when the nWo came to WWE but all 5 never was on screen at the same time. Obviously other than pre attitude era.

    • LP1 says:

Other than the Hall Of Fame ceremonies, the only time I remember them all on screen together was the Raw Reunion show from January of this year.

  11. M0ck1ngb1rd says:

Alright Shawn Michaels pulling up his pants. That screams “look at me and my friends!”
