New Daniel Bryan WWE DVD Cover Revealed, Undertaker Streak Changed

June 20, 2012 by Daniel Bee

According to Silvervision.co.uk Undertaker: The Streak coming next month will now be 3-Disc on DVD, and 2-Disc on Blu-ray. It was previously listed as 4-DVD/3-BD.

No word on if the US release will be the same, but with identical content we assume it will be. We previously received conflicting information as to how many discs would comprise each format, so perhaps this was finalized recently.

Updated covers for the Daniel Bryan and Sheamus DVDs in Superstar Collection have been released. The first artwork WWE had planned for these two titles featured older shots of the two stars. The Bryan and Sheamus DVDs hit stores on August 7th.

Adding up the matches (and estimating the match times) for the first disc (of the DVD) gets you a little less than two hours. Unfortunately, that means the doc, as many people predicted here, is not very long.

2nd disc is probably about as close to 3 hours as you can get; 3rd I’m guessing runs about 2.5 hours.

At any rate, knocking off a disc, at least for the DVD, probably makes better use of the space, as opposed to recent sets they’ve released.

    • Marty says:

*match times* = meant to say “total segment time including entrances and post-match stuff”.

      • pmdmf says:

The total match lengths from bell to bell on all of Undertaker’s WM matches is approximately 5:20:54. How they will handle some of the match intros and some post match things I don’t know, like WM 19 or if they will show what happened post 15 match with the boss man, or Shawn’s farewell at 26. It will be interesting to see the final product.

I have all the wrestlmamas so will not be getting this set. I don’t see why they can’t do a documety DVD some all of Takers best matchs like they did with Edge. Taker is done the only real match he has left to have is with sting. And thanks to Sting it will never happen. Just like Hogan and Austin will never happen.

  3. Dave says:

Don’t know how much weight this holds, but according to this site: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2382017/ it lists Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit) for the Streak DVD/Blu-ray, so could be possible the Rollin’ theme from 17-19 will be included

The streak DVD looks good, but kind of misleading because i remember in 1994 Ted Dibiase brought in a fake Undertaker and he wrestled at that years wrestlemania because the real Undertaker had his face legit smashed by a botched Yokozuna spot. I don’t think the real one came back for 2 years, so in 94 and 95’s Wrestlemania’s, there was a different Undertaker wrestling. You can notice it, the fake one has more hair and less tattoos than the person currently playing the Undertaker character has.

why do they have to bring out daniel bryan out on dvd

Hitman Hart: Wrestling With Shadows DVD.. Such an amazing DVD

    • Dave says:

I agree, the doc is awesome!

The Life and Death of Owen DVD thats included is very emotional and sad to watch. They said he was nervous all day heading into Over the Edge because he didn’t want to preform the stunt, but couldn’t refuse because he shot down almost all ideas creative had for him because he didn’t like the direction WWE was going at that time with the sex and raunchy storylines. This makes his death even sadder.

I still remember being in shock hearing JR saying “…Owen Hart has died, Owen Hart has tragically died in that accident here tonight”. I still get chills when i hear that clip.

      • SRB says:

Im with you Dave. I watched the PPV on TV and wondered if it was a work that Owen passed. Then thought, WWE doesnt usually joke about death. I couldnt believe it. I actually just met Bret in Canada a few weeks ago for a convention. I wanted to ask him if he regrets having the Owen tribute match with Benoit, but I didnt want him to get mad at me.

Well I hope they decide to keep the Doc on the blu ray Undertaker one and the dvd I am not sure yet which one I will buy
