WWE Attitude Era Volume 2 DVD - Giveaway

We broke the news this month that the WWE Network series “The Monday Night War” is coming to DVD and Blu-ray next year. “Monday Night War Vol. 1: Shots Fired” is scheduled for release on March 10th and is available pre-order here on Amazon.com.

Volume 1 is planned to cover the first 10 episodes of the series and also include a few matches and moments from that time period as DVD/Blu-ray extras. As you may know, the full series has 20 episodes in total so you can expect to see a Volume 2 follow up with the remaining 10 episodes also scheduled for release at some point in the near future.

WWE Monday Night War DVD & Blu-ray

Yesterday, former ECW play-by-play announcer and current WWE Vice President of Digital Media Joey Styles hinted on his Twitter account that WWE may produce a Volume 3 of the “OMG! Top 50 Incidents” DVD/Blu-ray series, this time ECW themed.

He then posted this tweet linking to our “Fantasy Concept” article of that same idea:

Earlier this month the “WWE 2014 Annual” DVD was released here at WWEDVD.co.uk to fans in the UK and Europe. The 6-disc collection includes “The Best of RAW & Smackdown 2013” and “Best PPV Matches 2013” in one new box set. Below is a look inside.

I really don’t want this to make 2003 Monday Night War DVD obsolete. 🙁 Lol.

  2. attitude.era.4life says:

nice to see that a wrestling personality like Joey Styles acknowledge the great creative efforts and work that the staff here on WDN brings to life.

And it would be fantastic to see a volume 3 of the ultimate best countdown concepts, pitching the 50 most extreme OMG moments, inspired by Mark’s great fantasy edition. 🙂

  3. Calvin Heikkila says:

If they actually put more than a couple matches on these Monday Night War releases, then these will be some of my favorite releases ever done by WWE.

  4. DarthCarr says:

Could this mean that Warner Brothers taking over WWE Home Video will produce longer DVD/Blu-Ray sets? The 1st 10 Monday Night War episodes on DVD would reach around the length of the Ultimate Ric Flair Collection and Blu-Ray Exclusive Matches would make it (I THINK) the longest 2-Disc Blu-Ray released so far. I have the WWE Network, but I enjoy rewatching Documentaries, and can bring Blu-Ray & DVD Sets with me on trips without requiring internet access so I’m excited about the Monday Night War Release.

Really excited for that and hope Destruction of the Shield is also longer than the last few years releases,as The Shield were a constant Match-of-the-Night in Mid-Late 2013,and werent too shabby in 2014 either.

Doubt it. WB is just responsible for getting the physical items into stores and online retailers. WWE decides the content.
