February 23, 2011 by Daniel Bee

If you haven’t yet seen which two huge WWE DVDs have been removed from this year’s schedule click here.

There’s a slight change to the release date of the WCW Nitro themed set, now scheduled for release on Tuesday June 7th. It looks like the official title is “The Very Best of WCW Nitro” and we can confirm this will be a 3-Disc DVD set, hosted by DDP.

Encouraging news concerning Austin/Rock: The Rivalry on DVD & Blu-ray. This remains scheduled and has actually been pushed forward with a new planned release date in October 2011. It was previously listed for December, so that’s a step in the right direction.

It’s “Wild Wednesday”, so for 24 hours only fans in the UK & Europe can buy WWE Brian Pillman: Loose Cannon DVD (2 Discs) for only £7.99. Go grab one!

Cool, will be getting the Rock-Austin dvd. Maybe will pick up WCW dvd aswell. Off topic but any news on the Randy Orton dvd? IE release date, content?

  8. Sorry to say no rock doc planned this year

  9. Adam says:

I think everyone is going to be disappointed with the Rock/Austin DVD I think well get a match comp with the mania matches then introductions into each match with a voice over (like the Tombstone set). However I do see a Rock documentary coming in the summertime or right before Christmas.

On the Nitro set – DDP said on his blog that WWE is very open to a Nitro Vol. 2. (If the first one does well!)
