The full content line-up and new shots of the box art are in for the WrestleMania 39 DVD and Blu-ray release next month!
WWE’s official run list reveals that Rey Mysterio’s Hall of Fame speech will be featured as an extra. The formatting of the content is reminiscent of the WrestleMania 38 DVD, in that the main events of both nights of WrestleMania are included together on the third disc. Last year’s DVD did the same and had The Undertaker’s Hall of Fame induction as a bonus.
Therefore, if you get the DVD version expect to see the Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. The Usos tag title match and the Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns Undisputed title match on the same disc. This doesn’t apply to Blu-ray; that’s a 2-disc set with the two full nights of ‘Mania each given its own disc (and Rey’s speech as an extra on the second disc).

In this instance I quite like the idea of having the two night’s main events on the same disc, as storyline-wise in terms of the Bloodline they are somewhat intertwined.
It’s a keeper!
imo the whole NXT show is/will be a neat bonus.
The UNITED KINGDOM release has limited Edition art cards, a pull -out poster, an alternate front cover and the entire ”N.X.T-STAND AND DELIVER” event. At least THEY’re willing to give you that.
Interested to see the exclusive artwork. I’m sure someone at some point said the alternate artwork will be “with added Flair”, so I’m wondering if it’s gonna be Charlotte and Rhea-themed.
They did the EXACT same thing as last year. In the words of Captain James T. Kirk, ”WHAT A WASTE”.
When was the last DVD/Blu-ray to have hidden Easter eggs? I wish they do a 2nd Volume of WWE Unreleased 1986-1995.
I figured there’d be the usual complaining about extras. And like clockwork, sure enough. To me, the fact that in 2023 we’re still getting WrestleMania on BD/DVD at all is the bonus.
Errrr, we’re allowed an opinion, Mussolini!
Lol At what point did I say you’re not allowed to have an opinion? I don’t remember that part.
On a side note, whenever I see the name Mussolini lately, I always hear Jim Cornette singing CM Punk’s theme song. “Like MUSSOLINNNNIIIIIIII…”
Yeah, that’s probably why he was the ‘go-to’ dictator for me in that instance. Been listening to too much Drive Thru.
I just don’t buy that pointing out that a lack of extras is a poor show (when there’s disc space for them) is a bad thing or tantamount to “complaining”. You may personally just be glad to simply get what you’re given even though you’re paying hard earned money for it; some people expect more of an effort to be put into a product. That’s not necessarily “complaining”. It’s feedback.
Sadly they don’t make an effort anymore with extra content. Seems that way with most home video releases nowadays for everything not just wrestling.
Would it have hurt them to place the HOF ceremony either on Disc 2 as there should be enough room to do as such or even a third disc containing the whole event as why they keep skimping on this event is beyond me, as this has been going on for years now!
God forbid we get any Raw or Smackdown extras. Last year there was space wasted on the third disc. I expect there to be this year too. At least we get the NXT disc in the UK, but man, the lack of extras sucks.
Me first
