I’m sure that most people would agree the 2009 Best of Saturday Night’s Main Event DVD was one of the very best collections WWE has put together. So for this edition of Fantasy Concept we’ll take a look at how a second volume of The Best of Saturday Night’s Main Event could look.
Similar to the 2009 set, this one should be hosted by Gene Okerlund and would feature moments and matches not included on that set.

Wow I’ve been going through and looking at all the fantasy concepts. This one is my favorite so far. I really wAnt that L.O.D. And Ultimate Warrior VS Demolition match. This concept is awesome I wish war would see this and make this come to life!!!
Wow they need to make this happen. I’m very impressed with this. Who ever put this together should be part of the wwe video dvd team.its an awesome concept. I hope wwe would see this and make this and add it to the other dvds. I would definitely but this without thinking twice about this.I think this concept would be a very big success. The wwe should be reading this and taking action by putting this together and making it happen. Please make this happen.
Wow. great cover art as well as great matches
Again… LONG OVERDUE!!! 🙂
WARRIOR!…WARRIOR!…WARRIOR!…WARRIOR!…WARRIOR!…WARRIOR!…
What program do you use for this? Someone reply because I wanna be able to do this. I suck at photoshopping but i wanna know what he uses.
Make a booker.t in the next fantisy concept
You lost me at the first match of moolah vs ricter. This was a terrible content listing. I’ve been clamoring for a SNME volume 2 since the 1st release, but I’d hope an official release would be a lot better than this.
Bring on the best of WWF superstars!
also forgot hulk hogan vs sika, hulk hogan vs haku, hulk hogan vs honky tonk man, hulk hogan vs million dollar man, brutus beefcake vs macho man,piper/orton/ventura vs the hillbillies, and piper vs haku. lost snme classics.
Whoever put this together had a lot of time on their hands. That being said, this is a great piece that was put together! One could only hope the WWE is watching (and hiring). Great job and thanks for the effort put in so us fans can continue to hope (and imagine!).
A Chyna DVD would be awesome but that probably won’t happen like John Cena lashing out on the fans and be like I don’t give a damn about u I only care about me.
backdoor to chyna.. Avengers XXX.. Queen Of The Ring (coming soon)
I want to watch Avengers XXX lol, seems like it would be good. Chyna is She Hulk.
Wow there was a second Savage Hogan match? Why want that on vol 1. Was the Andre Warrior match great?
Vince to Mark D. “You’re HIRRRRRED!” Well done!
Great DVD concept, I would buy it alone to see Macho Man and the tag matches. Saturday Night’s Main Event DVD had some real forgotten gems on it and this is the same. Too bad it isn’t real…Yet.
You are a genius send this concept to the wwe maybe they´ll hire you!
Really awesome!
This is absolutely perfect! Everything, the cover art, the match listings, nothing needs to be touched. Perhaps a Best of WWF Superstars concept (from the early ’90s)
YOU ALSO CAN’T LEAVE OFF HULK HOGAN VS NIKOLAI VOLKOFF FROM SNME OCTOBER 5 1985. CLASSIC MATCH RIGHT THERE.
I was a fan of Saturday Night’s Main Event and i have the first volume and it was great to watch. So yes, i would love to see Vol. come out.
Exactly, WWE should hire you. If work for WWE trust me DVDs would get awesome sales because your ideas and your creative of concepts. Try come out with a another fanasty concept like the Best of WCW halloween havoc or Bash at the beach.
But instead we get a DVD of Zach Ryder & The Rock & Cena!!
I want this so bad. Please wwe do it
Warrior & LOD vs Demolition sounds fun!
wwe should hire you, if wwe released a set like this i would buy it on bluray & regular dvd, awesome, not like the recent garbage (excluding ECW)
The Best of WCW Clash of the Champions wasn’t garbage.
Fantastic concept idea. May I request a “Best of WCW Halloween Havoc, Great American Bash or a second volume to Clash of the Champions” ??
Thats a BUY for me. Fantastic match listing.
Great cover, and definitely how I would want the artwork to look. But I just don’t think I would want a volume two of this. They pretty much did put the best stuff on the first set, lol.
YES! YES! YES!
I kinda felt the 2006-2007 SNME felt out of place on the last set, so I’d prefer a set that had nothing but 80s and 90s matches.
Perfect listing. Bravo!
can’t forget about hulk hogan vs hercules for the wwe title. SNME november 1986.
Would buy.
By far, the best Fantasy Concept you made yet. Nicely done. Cover and matches are awesome. I wish this was really on schedule for release, lol.
Ver nice, lots of Hogan, Warrior and Savage. You really can’t go wrong. My favorite team back in the day was the Brainbusters, so thanks for this 2 Out of 3 Falls Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship
Demolition vs. The Brainbusters
Saturday Night’s Main Event • July 29, 1989
Impressive, sir.
Nice!
