Mark’s Fantasy Concept #12 – New World Order

April 8, 2012 by Mark D

WDN Fantasy Concept

This weeks Fantasy Concept is a four-disc retrospective of the New World Order, 4-Life: The Controversial History of the nWo (thanks to Vincenzzzzzo for the title). This one follows up on the 2002 DVD “nWo: Back in Black”. This four-disc DVD set is a match and highlight compilation set hosted by Kevin Nash (who would provide history and background to the segments).

I think that this one should have a store exclusive fifth disc which would include the recent Classics on Demand episode of: WWE Legends of Wrestling roundtable discussing the New World Order.

Here is my suggested content for the set – hope you like it 😉

  1. Adam Howell says:

This artwork is awesome were can I get it

  2. Spritz1999 says:

The one that was released was no where near as good as this one looks!

  3. insanetombstone96 says:

This one looks WAY better than the one we are going to get.

  4. Scsa says:

I hope the Exclusive is produced in the UK as well as a USA! Thats if there will be an exclusive! However I’m actually going 4 the Blu-ray so I hope everything’s on that!

  5. nightmare says:

I know I said I don’t collect anymore and I don’t I just get one that I will enjoy and will watch more than once and this one if it was real would be one of them .

  6. nightmare says:

If this was real I would have paid 40.00 just to get it no questions ask wow .

  7. Abel Gutierrez says:

ALL of the paid Announcements or at least their best recognized paid Announcemnts better be included as extras!!

  8. Davey says:

They would never do 5 discs on a 15-year-old faction, no matter how popular it was. And even if they did, they’d need like 9 discs to fit all the crap you listed. Your timing is a little wacky, buddy. I’d prefer a new insighful bio with new interviews to a whole bunch of full matches and clips just rolled.

  9. Scsa says:

Does this proposed DVD interest me??? Hell Yeah!

I don’t really know much about their matches or so in WCW as I was always a WWF/E fan, though remember their great entrances from a WCW game on the N64, plus I’m dedprate to watch all the matches announced by you! I hope they add in the part where Shawn Michaels had joined the nWo too!

  10. NWO 4 Life says:

I hope WWE has this on the things to do this year or early next year if December 21st 2012 doesn’t get us all but an NWO set would be toooo sweet!

  11. Lendus1985 says:

This set looks amazing and although we have all seen some of these features a billion times, it would be great to have them all on one exclusive set. In my opinion, WWE still doesn’t make the full use of the WCW video library!

  12. Anonymous says:

this would be an amazing set if they did it.

  13. NWO 4 Life says:

I figured this would get at least 60 comments but I guess nobody wants to admit they want an NWO DVD set besides me and a few others.

  14. Charles says:

I don’t understand why this set hasn’t been done before. It’s a no-brainer. I like your concept, but I will prefer a big documentary on disc one reliving all the nWo story (with wolfpac, nwo in wwe, etc.) I know there is back in black, but it is incomplete.

  15. Legend22 says:

NWO was just an awesome concept and what Nash, Syxx, Hall, Hogan, Macho Man, and the rest of the NWO did was great. Their parody of the Horsemen is classic.

  16. Anonymous says:

this would be amazing, but the Legends of wrestling should be a blu ray extra not store exclusive.. amazing idea, would but this instantly

  17. Dave says:

Mark i’m looking for some art work of a Raw and Smackdown show i have on dvd that i went to live would u like to put something together and i can pay you for it lmk thanks

  18. DrFever says:

Bunch of matches that end with screw job endings, run ins, and someone getting spray painted.

    Pass

  19. Ed says:

hey gotta fantasy maybe you can do…finish a series of “from the vault” they only did shawn michaels i was thinking what others would look like too

  20. Quack says:

Love it, get it made 🙂

  21. Brad Attitude says:

awesome design and match listing. i would take out Hogan vs. Warrior II and add in Shawn Michaels’ return to WWE as the newest member of nWo.

  22. Tap Or Snap says:

This set is just 2 sweeeeet! nWo 4-4-4-4-4 Life!

  23. nightmare says:

Yea I know so do I it will sell like hot cakes

  24. Vincenzzzzzo says:

Nicely done, Sir. Nicely done. Awesome cover. I like the 4 discs too. Great match listing. I wish this was on schedule for this year, lol.

    Nice job Mark. Once again.

  25. LordCrumb says:

We can only hope for a release like this. Awesome photo on the front, looks bad ass

  26. Anonymous says:

what program do you use to make the covers

  27. nightmare says:

If this came out I would buy it day one even though I hate Hogan

  28. DX&NWO fan says:

Huge fan of both DX and NWO but this would be great to see a history set on the NWO. NWO wanted to take over WCW and DX was more in your face doing whatever the fuck they wanted.

  29. Greg36 says:

This will be a top seller and they should include the match of Macho Man vs Prince Iukla where Nash goes right back at you HBK. Still surprised WCW let Nash say that to his friend in WWE.

  30. NWO 4 Life says:

I hope this sees the light of day, huge NWO fan and great concept Mark. NWO just 2 sweeet.

  31. m.blier says:

the wwe was responsible for the first wrestling high in the mid 80`s and when wcw had the idea to put nitro head to head with raw in 95 they had great talents on the roster but where in need of a great story line to kickstart the monday night war.that night of monday may 27 96 is when wcw did the same thing wwe did for the 80`s is give wrestling its second high.the nwo made history and the fans were the real winners.the wwe could make a dvd set titled wrestling`s rise in the 80`s and reborn in the 90`s.thank you nwo.

  32. NickP says:

I believe this dvd would sell close to as many copies as the Rise and Fall of ECW

  33. Harry Faversham says:

I’d buy this at the earliest opportunity. I really don’t understand why an nWo set hasn’t been done. Back in Black doesn’t count. Great cover!

  34. John rega says:

I want this. I want this soooooo bad.

  35. Bollea's Bud says:

Excellent listing. Maybe add World Title match Savage v Sting from Stampede 98 and/or the Hogan v Savage match from the next night… These were the key matches that led to the Wolfpac of Nash & Savage breaking away from the black & white.

  36. Roger Palmer says:

wow… if the WWE ever made this set, it would sell buckets of them… I know i would want it.

  37. Steve says:

You are very creative! Great Job. Maybe if WWE hired you we would get innovative DVD’s. But instead we will get a stupid Undertaker streak DVD and I’m sure it will be 6 hours on 3 discs. They are so clueless its sad

  38. Markus says:

Great. I want to buy this set. 😀

  39. SRB says:

Wow Mark. Excellent work. Look at all of that content! Very nice job. I love how it started with the “Curtain Call.”

  40. frank d says:

man o man i want that DVD box set.
