Picked up my Blu-ray copy today of The Kliq Rules. There’s just one glaring omission from the set and that’s Diesel vs Shawn Michaels at WM11. I really wish they included that on this DVD, even though the Good Friends, Better Enemies match is on here. Something from that WM needs to see a Blu-ray release already.
Well how about the Documentary? I mean I heard that it’s just over an hour 🙁
But is it ne good??
I haven’t actually had a chance to watch any of it yet. I did see the First Look on the Network though and it looks good to me from what I saw on there. Looking forward to it.
@Kay
Agreed.
I was shocked that there wasn’t any match from 1995 on the set at all! Seems like a glaring omission since 1995 was arguably the Kliq’s peak.
Best Buy has the Kliq Blu-Ray for $22.99 – Kliq DVD for $17.99.
If ya still haven’t got the Jerry Lawler Blu-Ray or DVD and want to get it cheap – both are still priced at $9.99 at the Best Buy website. (Last time I was at a Best Buy store was before the Blu-Ray/DVD came out so I don’t know if they are still priced at $9.99 in-store.)
Lucky U! I’m in the UK which means I have to wait till the 7th Sept!
Now I could be wrong but didn’t the phrases “4 life” & “2 sweet” belong to the NWO?
I think so too, but its okay I guess since Nash, Hall & Syx were a part of the nWo. Though it would have been good to see the phrase of ‘Suck It!’ on the cover too 🙂
Yes, those phrases were popularized in wrestling through the NWO, especially “4 Life.” However, I think “Too Sweet” was predominantly used by members of the Wolf Pack, so its inclusion here would make sense. If the Kliq were using either or both sayings before the split (similar to the hand gesture) could make a difference.
Anyone else amused Syxx credits the Dutch Mafia for the hand gesture whereas we’ve heard Wade Boggs take credit in the past? (I never believed Boggs myself, although I won’t discount that there could be more than one legitimate origin story since it is just simple finger positioning.)
