Even ol’ HBK himself can’t quite believe that after all these years there are still Shawn Michaels matches that fans are yet to witness.

But WWE has managed to source hours upon hours of previously unseen matches involving the Heartbreak Kid and fans in the United States, Canada, the UK and Europe will be treated to a whole collection of them next month in the new “Shawn Michaels – The Showstopper Unreleased” DVD!

The 3-disc set will unearth more than thirty never-before-released matches from HBK’s career that were forgotten in time or thought not to exist at all, several non-match segments that have also never surfaced until now and in between an interview with The Showstopper filmed earlier this year.

You can own all of this material for only $17.89 in the USA and just £19.99 in the UK.

Michaels gives his thoughts about being part of this unique project in the intro to the DVD which WrestlingDVDNetwork.com can exclusively reveal today, with a peek at the menu layout too:

Now for the first time ever, WWE Home Video dives deep into the archives to bring the WWE Universe never-before-released matches spanning the entire career of The Heartbreak Kid. From tag team classics as one half of The Rockers to hidden gems against Mr. Perfect, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Ric Flair, this is a special collection for any fan of The Showstopper.

This and the earlier Randy Savage release looks to be the best of this year’s class.

  2. taker says:

  3. Patrick McNamara says:

So happy WWE is releasing all the 2018 events on dvd….as well as this set. Looking forward to having the 2018 events on dvd, then Raw and SD live best of 2018,then NXT best of 2018,then maybe best of NXT takeover 2018….I mean cant wait to continue my NXT championship lineage …..meaning Aleister Black,Tomaso Ciampa, and whomever takes the title from Ciampa. Also looking forward to owning The 50 man Greatest Royal Rumble match. As well as The Undertaker.vsTriple H…at Super Showdown.

  4. Jeff Copeland says:

Nice, i love dvds like this. like the savage dvd we got this year. hopefully get more unreleased or i would honestly go for like a best of wcw halloween havoc dvd or cruiserweight/lightheavyweight title dvd OR ecw world title dvd. those be fun to see. Hum yea this comes out right after my birthday so easily a birthday gift for myself xD 😀

  5. James Sampson says:

They couldn’t have got rid of the timer/clock in the Mr Perfect match?

    • RCS1988 says:

They can’t because it was there when the match was recorded. It was never meant to air on TV or home video, just something to have on film, the matches with no time stamp means that it was meant to air on TV or home video.

  6. SRB says:

I normally dislike when WWE puts two singles wrestlers (Fandango/Breeze, HHH/Austin, Orton/Edge, and Jericho/Show) as a tag team. However, I absolutely loved HBK and Cena as Michaels did an awesome job always being about to betray Cena and having reservations about him throughout their run. That photo above says it all. When HBK threw Cena over the top during that Raw match and made them lose the titles, that was some great booking.

    • Jeff Copeland says:

Oh those 2 10 team battle royals they had night after wm 23. omg i was so MAD HBK did not win at maina 23. so watching that which i recorded on VHS even in 2007 xD it was fun to see hbk be like YEH FK THIS and throw cena over the top rope, cause he did not give a fk about tag titles anymore lol

  7. Vintage Simon says:

Very cool that the Kurt Angle match seems to have the portions during the ad breaks that are previously unseen (other than live online at the time). Wish we could have this for their Homecoming match too, but I’ll take it!

    • Jeff Copeland says:

i liked there homecoming match but i hate that draw ending.

      • VintageSimon says:

Agreed. I also felt four falls was too many in half an hour, because in their first matches (at WM 21 and Vengeance 2005), it took nearly the same time just for one fall. Four times that amount felt a little unbelievable to me. Shame they never had a proper 60-minute Iron Man Match, as it would have been epic.

        • Jeff Copeland says:

sucks they really never had another match after that. cause angle would go back to his feud with cena for a while then go to smackdown win world title. HBK would be there until his feud with Mr. Mcmahon would start
