  1. Andrew Michael Dellorfano says:

So wait can someone clarify things for me, What happened to Survivor Series 2018, will that get a DVD release too? Also anything for Smackdown 1000 and Evolution DVD’s and when is Super Showdown coming for the United States?

  2. Jeff Copeland says:

the greatest royal rumble dvd don’t look to bad. adding the raw and smackdown matches helps it.

  3. Alex Britton says:

Will it be a directors cut of the wwe 24 episodes or just in their original form on the network?

  4. Foley is good says:

WWE 24 is a buy for me. Greatest Royal Rumble not so much. Still wish bluray was available for these releases.

  5. roger kistler says:

I wish they would release a DVD of this year’s Hall of Fame since it was not included in the WrestleMania 3 dvd set!!!!!

  6. SRB says:

This probably my OCD talking here, but WWE being inconsistent in their DVD presentation bugs me. I can’t really explain why, but it does. Now we are going back to the two disc sets coming out? I’m not seeing a reason this couldn’t have been a 3 disc set with a couple more episodes and a couple more extras.

    • RabidHeat says:

Nobody has said three disc sets are stopping just because the 24 set is 2 discs.

      • SRB says:

Exactly. No one said that including me. My point is WWE hasnt released a 2 disc feature in what feels like forever.

        • RabidHeat says:

Okay, but it’s not exactly a typical example. It’s not them “going back” to 2-disc Superstar sets all of a sudden. It’s because it’s the 24 documentaries and I guess they felt three discs might be overload.

          • SRB says:

My point is they flip flop. They implement one way of doing things, abandon it and then go back later. And I hardly think 3 discs would be overload for a series that focuses on different themes and careers. If they can release 6 blu ray discs of the Monday Night Wars they can release 3 dvds of WWE24.

            • LP1 says:

If they still did blu-rays, they could’ve released a WWE 24 Anthology. All 17 episodes would fit on a 3 disc blu-ray set.

              • Foley is good says:

Wish they would just add a WWE section to WB archive site. At least give it a shot. I would buy some.

            • RabidHeat says:

Fair point, I’m just unsure what is actually all that bad about a little flip-flopping and variety. Some sets 2 discs, some 3. What’s wrong with that as such?

              • SRB says:

More about packaging really, which has been a large discussion here lately with the 3 disc sets. We’ve seen lots of changes there and I really thought the double pack ppv sets were a great thing. Sad to see those go so quick.

  7. BAS says:

I feel they could’ve included the WrestleMania 33 pre show matches as extras since they were never included on the actual PPV DVD. I know it sounds dumb to ask for that and to complain about that still, but when it comes to WrestleMania, you want to own the whole event. Although they would have been better off on the Mania DVD, this would be better than nothing.

    • RabidHeat says:

The problem with that is the pre-show matches were included on the Mania 33 DVD outside of the US, so then you’re getting into the idea of having different bonus content on the 24 DVD for different regions. They could do that, but presumably their production costs would be higher with more than one standard content listing across the board.

  8. RabidHeat says:

Damnit, I didn’t want to buy this 24 set and now they’ve enticed me with the Ultimate Deletion. They’re so crafty! I need to wait to see if it’s included on The Best of Raw and Smackdown 2018 first.

  9. andemoine winrow says:

I’m glad they added the matches from both ‘RAW’ and ‘SMACKDOWN’ but i thought they were going to have a behind the scenes featurette.

    • RabidHeat says:

I would prefer the matches tbh.

      • Anan says:

Tbh I’d prefer both matches & behind the scenes assuming that’s possible bc their behind the scenes videos aren’t that long so only guessing they won’t take up a ton of space allowing for matches too. Therefore a 2 and especially a 3 disc set should allow for both.

Or to sell the item more they could add a 4th bonus disc featuring behind the scenes and for the purpose of filling up the 4th disc, more stuff like idk off air/dark stuff or other unseen material. Likely won’t happen but hey anything’s possible so nothing wrong wishing/hoping.

  10. Rkmo says:

Again, super disappointed in WWE choosing not to take full advantage of the WWE 24 DVD concept. The Hardy’s show and Ultimate Deletion will be the biggest reason I buy this.

  11. Nick says:

Will the greatest rumble dvd be sold in Canada?

    • Bubbs says:

i wouldn’t be surprised, they’ve actually been much better since switching to WB distribution. I’ve even seen the Elimination Chamber/Fastlane double feature that was in distribution limbo in stores over the last few weeks

  12. Tommy D says:

The WWE 24 disc is ok. A bit disappointed but will still be getting it. Two great extras on the Greatest Rumble though. Love the trend of adding RAW/Smackdown stuff to PPV DVDs again.

    • Bubbs says:

Me too, I was hoping 3 discs with 2 or 3 more. But I’m glad they’re releasing something, hopefully it will be competitively priced since its only 2 discs (the latest 2 disc PPV sets are only retailing for $12 or so here in Canada)

  13. VintageSimon says:

Will be passing on the WWE 24 set. When it was first announced, the idea of having 8-9 episodes packed into a 3-disc set seemed ideal. But 4 episodes on two discs with a load of WrestleMania matches we already have on Blu Ray? Ugh. Hardcore pass.
