One of the top 5..mayben even top 3.. best ever compilation sets for me, that WWE has released. From first match with the historic first ever ladder match (at least filmed) to the awesome Fatal Fourway tag team match from Armageddon 2006 (Any critics of wrestling stating it everything about it being fake, I say: Ask Joey Mercury about that match!)
You will find almost every classic ladder match from WWF/E ppv’s up till Armageddon 2006 (WM 2000 triple threat not present though and Handicap match from KOTR 1999 and Razor vs. HBK from WM X is on the volume 2: Crash and burn set.)
What it really a treat though, is the “forgotten” TLC 3 from Smackdown, which fully lives up to the first 2 matches from SS 2000 and X7 + the TLC 4 from RAW.
I have watches these 3 discs problaly more times than any other WWE release. I love the concept of a ladder match..it invites so much to creativity in story telling and execution. And with the right performers and creative team, it is most the times the show stealer match.
Volume 2: Crash and Burn is great (Jericho vs HBK, Edge vs. Undertaker). But this volume 1 just is that more too sweet, because of so many classics on one set!
