  1. Corey Rice says:

Unlike ramped up this seems like a buy this has 25 themes and the guys talkin about them I’m in

  2. Aaron Park says:

WWE can keep on releasing one disc music but nothing will ever top the WWF Anthology

  3. josh m says:

Just not a collector of wwe music but if I were I totally agree with the guy below me. The cover. Wtf.

  4. Mr. McBeaner says:

The cover of Signature Sounds just screams gay. It’s probably the gayest cover in the history of the WWE home video library. Anyways, i’ll wait till I hear reviews about it because it doesnt look that good.

  5. Brad Attitude says:

is this the first time Mr Perfect’s theme has been released?

  6. Spritz1999 says:

Ehhh… it’s $6… plus gotta have it for my collection… but, I may wait until someone sells it for $3 somewhere else… lol.

  7. Charlie Brick says:

Well, let me tell you something, Brother! No “Real American”, no buy here, brother! Whatcha’ gonna do when I go buy something else!

  8. LP1 says:

Real American and Demolition were both written and performed by Rick Derringer. Cyndi Lauper is also an uncredited background singer on Real American. Easily two of the greatest themes of all time. Real American is probably the most recognizable theme of that entire generation. Even Pres. Obama used it a few times.

  9. C-Note says:

So no iconic themes like Million Dollar Man, Jake Roberts, Slick, Kurt Angle, Pyscho Sid etc. but we get the Prime Time Players? Who in 5-10 years time will even remember there’s? I was tempted by this DVD but no chance now (and Hakushi’s should be on the list).

  10. Mr Disc says:

This is the kind of DVD that they usually give away as a bonus disc.

  11. Warrio Mark says:

Oh yeah, Prime Time Players and Brodus Clay, but no Demolition, Legion of Doom or Hulk Hogan? Is that a joke or what? Easy pass for me, because this countdown is just as ridiculous as all the other countdown from WWE!

    • Richard says:

It may be because those themes were not written by Jim Johnson? I know Hogan’s “Real American” theme was not. Not sure about Demolition or LOD. I know LOD used “Iron Man” until they got to WWE.

      • Mr Disc says:

Fairly sure that Demolition’s theme wasn’t done by Jim either, that’s why it’s usually dubbed over on DVD releases,

      • Daniel Bee says:

“Sexy Boy” is by Jimmy Hart, as seen on that new Keep on Rockin’ DVD and mentioned by Jim Johnston on Austin’s podcast recently.

        • ChadWWE says:

Real American I would expect on this list because it was on the Anthology. I don’t know the legals holding back themes, but Demolition was left on the Anthology CD, so no shock to see it missing here. If Jimmy wrote it for WWE, it would still be WWE’s right to use it, but I think this started as a Jim Johnston DVD.

  12. Zombie835 says:

I’m sorry but the brood should have been in the top 5 their song was just awesome

  13. Vintage Simon says:

I still don’t understand what this DVD is. Is it a documentary with people talking about the making of these videos, or is it more like ‘Ramped Up Vol. 2’? When the title was initially announced, I thought the idea was for a long doc talking with Jim Johnston, but it seems to be drifting further and further away from that.

    • Daniel Bee says:

I think it’s still a little doc type piece with those 25 tracks as its content (a countdown). In there will probably be comments from several people including Johnston. Like RabidHeat says, it’s probably just the extras that are full tracks/videos.

  14. RabidHeat says:

I don’t think it’s gonna be entrance videos as some of them wouldn’t have videos and they won’t make new ones, I don’t think. I think it’s gonna be a Countdown with the likes of Santino, The Miz and Brooklyn Brawler just saying a couple of things about each song with it playing in the background and the odd clip, lol. I think the extras will be in full only.

    • Luis says:

Actually, the only songs that doesn’t already have a video is for the Ultimate Warrior, and they’ll make one for sure for him to come out to at the Hall of Fame this year, and Hakushi. So if they only have to really make 1 just for this DVD, I’m sure they’d do it. I can see it just being entrance themes because of the title. If the title was something like, “Signature Sounds: Behind The Music of WWE” or something like that, that totally sounds like a documentary. To me, this sounds like “ThemeAddict: WWE The Music, Vol. 6” or “Voices: WWE The Music, Vol. 9”. I’m sure there will be some talking, but I think it will be a playlist of entrance videos, which I think would be cool. And for the price, it’s not bad at all. It’s not like they’re making a 3-DVD set out of this, so I think it’s cool.

  15. David says:

I read the four UK exclusive Blu-rays were changed to region B in later copies. Not sure how you can tell but i read someone imported these about 6 months after release and they didn’t work on their region A PS3.

    • Luis says:

Yeah. I still buy the UK Blu-rays and they don’t play in a U.S. Blu-ray player anymore.

      • David says:

Yeah, UK WWE Blu-rays are region-locked but those specific five listed in the article were region free from Silver Vision when they were released and played perfectly on North American Blu-ray players.

I imported them as they came out and glad i did because they are going for quite a bit since they have been OOP for over a year.

    • Luis says:

But they play on my PC, so that’s why I keep buying them.

  16. Luis says:

I’m very interested in this title because this is something I can just leave playing in the background when I’m doing other things. I’m hoping it’s entrance videos.
