First came the official cover artwork – now it’s time to see the full content listing planned for WWE’s new “Best Pay-Per-View Matches 2015” DVD, returning in January!

Promotional material for the new DVD boasts that it contains “the best, hard-hitting matchups that 2015 had to offer featuring John Cena, Seth Rollins, Brock Lesnar, Undertaker, Roman Reigns, Sting, and Dean Ambrose”. All in all, a compilation of over 15 matches and additional chapters.

Along with the listing, right here at WrestlingDVDNetwork.com we also have confirmation that this weekend’s Survivor Series and next month’s TLC PPV events will (apparently) both suck!

We’re kidding of course, but yet again WWE has decided to snub these events from being included on the DVD set, as the complete match listing has already been finalized, as follows…

  1. A Hawes p1 re says:

I liked it I wish it had Seth Rollins vs John cena Summerslam 2015 and Night of champions 2015

Also rusev vs John cena I quit match payback

And cesaro vs Kevin Owens Summerslam 2015

  2. lol says:

Wow, I’m excited to buy this collection of PPV matches all at a lower quality than what the WWE Network offers them in!

  3. Charles says:

2015 is not over they should wait till january.

  4. mytwocents says:

what I really like about this set: afaik for the first time since they have done those “best ppv of …”-compilations there are highlight packages for each ppv as well (correct me if I am mistaken, but I believe in the past there were only the complete matches).

I think that’s great because while some other matches shouldn’t be included in complete form, it at least shows you short highlights.

  5. Donald says:

This is an amazing listing; editings however aren’t great to see on wrestling dvd sets such as this question which some may want the answer to: Is the Brock Lesnar “Suplex City, bitch!” quote and the Seth Rollins curb stomp from WrestleMania omitted from this set?

  6. Damn thats a hell of a match list – can’t complain at all.
The Rock Vs Austin from TLC 2015 won’t be on it though… I kid, I kid.
But i’ll do what I do every year – wait for the Annual to be released in November

  7. John S. says:

Looks decent but no Bray Wyatt or Wyatt Family matches. Between that and already having WM 31 and with the Lesnar set scheduled next year will wait for the price to drop.

  8. Robert emons says:

What about 2014 best ppv matches does the USA get that one to? Cause this will make my collection all weird and incomplete?

  9. RabidHeat says:

Getting a bit sick of these Undertaker “long hair” photos – can WWE not get him to go back in to take some more publicity shots, with the money they make?

  10. Steven Jackson says:

This looks a very good set, but it does annoy me that they always omit Survivor Series and TLC. I always enjoy these sets though, and I think they give a good overall view of the year. I would have liked the entire Cena vs. Owens trilogy, but two of the three is good enough for me 🙂

Another set I will look forward to watching soon.

  11. Steve says:

I would replace them all with both Sasha vs. Bayley matches. It’s a shame they are not on this release.

    • David says:

Because the title states “Pay-Per-View” matches, their matches were Network specials not PPV and plus there is an NXT release coming up next March.

  12. Eric says:

I would replace Cena vs Rusev. It was just okay. I think the WHC match could replace it.

  13. Can’t fault the match listing at all. Superb, superb stuff. Can’t wait to purchase this one.

  14. Jeff Copeland says:

not bad. i would of added from extreme rules roman vs show last man standing, yea i know roman is blah but that was a really good match

  15. attitude.era.4life says:

First time ever on this concept they show some of the best match-type of the year, the Rumble…and it had to be the most disappointed Rumbles of all time they had to start with! Just another of many reasons for NOT getting this, besides the continiunation of weak ppv years on a whole, the lack of bluray release and a tons of other issues.

2011 and 2013 bluray’s are my favorites regarding this concept, but it has lost it’s point of existence, not so much personally for me because of the Network, but more that, it-s getting harder and harder every year so it seems, to fill up with actually Best of Matches.

    • Fraudacai says:

I’ve gone back and re-read your comment a few times and still can’t understand it.

Regardless, that title match at the Royal Rumble is an absolutely incredible watch.

    • Jeff Copeland says:

O.O!!! anyway yea i agree the rumble this year was by far the weakest in years, since i think 2012. Well 2014 was pretty bad as well ex for danny b vs bray. as far as ppvs this year i think 2015 has been a good year. honestly only eh ppvs i can think off were rumble most of fastlane ex for last 2 matches, chamber ex for owens cena seth ambrose, payback was blah and battleground again ex for cena owens. rest of the ppvs have been pretty good gotta wait and see how survivor series and tlc do but 2015 much improvement over 2014
