  1. Ricardo Aguilera says:

Wish they could have added matches with Chris Benoit they had some good ones no matter what people think about him he was one hell of an wrestler

  2. Isrs4life says:

I sure wish I could buy the 2nd edition chris jericho dvd set if I have money for it.
That is what I call a wrestling DVD!

  3. Matthew Padgeon says:

Chris Jericho vs. Batista steel cage match for wh title from raw in 2008 should be on there.

    • Isrs4life says:

Match is on the greatest steel cage matches of all time 2011 dvd set.
If you want it that much which I recommend.

  4. luckychams says:

Should just call it Road is Jericho because there is barely any rare matches at all. I mean Hogan & Hart’s set got it right. What a misleading title, probably get it when the price is reduced. aint paying for no bullshittin title man

  5. Mark Markson says:

A bit disappointed with this. Way too many PPV matches, and a lot of matches I own on DVD already. I really think the title is a bit misleading. Sure, there are some unreleased matches, but when they put the word “rare” in the title, I thought this release would be similar to the Hulk Hogan Unreleased DVD.

Usually we get at least one unreleased match as a blu-ray exclusive. Not this time. 🙁

This set could have been so much better. I might buy it, but I’ll wait for the price to drop.

    • Jaffe Joffer says:

Just like “The Best of Sting” title was very misleading,

      • Mark Markson says:

I have that, but haven’t seen it yet. But I like that it has a lot of unreleased matches. Would be nice with a documentary, but I guess WWE can do another Sting DVD later on.

      • Jeff Copeland says:

that sting dvd for alot of rare tv matches it was bad i thought. it just lacked something no ppv matches which >…> network!! but i dont know its sad that i enjoyed the goldberg bluray of just matches over sting

  6. Brad Attitude says:

Honestly, what’s so rare about a bunch of Raw, Smackdown & WWE ppv matches?

  7. Andy Ace R says:

I was hoping that The Thrill seekers vs Heavenly Bodies from Smoky Mountain Wrestling from 8/94 was on here… Also Eddie Guerrero vs Jericho from Fall Brawl 1997 would’ve been nice to see also…I would’ve also like to have seen the RVD vs Jericho Hardcore Match from Unforgiven 2001..but I’m glad they put the match from RAW in 2013.. Also Instead of Rock vs Jericho from The 02 Royal Rumble.. They should have included The Rematch right after No Mercy in 01 they had on RAW from Nassau Coliseum in 11/01.. Also Rock vs Jericho vs Angle from The Christmas Eve RAW 2001 is a forgotten classic which should’ve been included also.. Besides the Bash 09, A different Rey vs Jericho match would’ve been nice like Their Smack down match from 7/09 which was twice as good.. I know I’m being critical but I’m happy to see Kane vs Jericho from 2000 on here along with Jericho vs Bourne from 2010..It would’ve been cool also if they had included Battle Of The Sexes Match: Jericho & Christian vs Lita – Trish from Armageddon 03- another underrated match that was good … Well that my two cents guys.. Can’t always be pleased with a WWE DVD release.

  8. @imdjluis says:

    I don’t understand why there’s always such a lack of WCW matches…

  9. mattyboysmith says:

9 times IC Champ and only 1 IC match on this set he had some great match’s don’t know if I will get this

    • Jeff Copeland says:

well his first win was over chyna so they could of added there armageddon match from 99 he won his 3rd ? from benoit so nope 4th from benoit nope 5th from rvd ? or kane one of them other from rvd jeff is on here and last was vs rey at extreme rules which is on his other dvd

  10. jerichoisgod says:

Cancelled this, very disappointed in ecw and wcw matches. Will wait for a sale to pick this one up.

    • Jeff Copeland says:

he really was not in ecw that long so i cant see alot of ecw matches wcw wise who else could they of added ? benoit we not getting that saturn i could of seen maybe there dog icollar match who else was there in wcw besides dean rey juvi all those matches are on other dvds

    • Warror Fan says:

Your going to wait 2 years so you can save $7-10?

      • Vintage Simon says:

If you wait for every release to come down in price, then those $7-10s do add up.

        • Warrior Fan says:

No it doesn’t, who buys EVERY single WWE dvd, yes there are some but its rare. So yes saying $7 so what, that’s $70 bucks. That’s 1 or 2 pumps of gas for your car. If he’s a Jericho fan like his name is you buy it that day not 3 years down the line to save $7.

          • Warrior Fan says:

To confirm obviously $70 if you buy 10 a year, that’s a lot!! I only buy a few a year if that. Also everyone buys on Amazon and you can get what you want especially dvd/blu rays for great deals. I’ve seen some blu rays go down in price years and years down the line and its only a saving of a few dollars. It’s not worth the wait if you truly want it and are a fan of them.

  11. attitude.era.4life says:

-lol- I just realised, that there is a match from Fatal 4 Way…I thought that ppv was off limits and not to be exposed ever again in any way?? ‘LOL’

    • Jeff Copeland says:

?? why is fatal 4 way off limits ?? i got it on dvd its sighs its not that bad of a ppv kofi drew ic title was all right bourne vs jericho was match of the night world title 4 way was good kinda short wwe title 4 way was eh so so divas zzzzzzz rest of the card meh was ok thank god it never returned as a ppv wait ?? is cause of the raw before with the tie thing ?

      • attitude.era.4life says:

I just think it was a stinker on the low level like KOTR 1995, WM 9 and December to Dismember 2006.

But, yeah.. you right, the Jerciho/Bourne match was the motn..but, still not one of either mens greatest.. I just thouhgt it was a show not well excecuted.. and as far as I recall, this is the first time something has been extracted from that disaster.

        • Jeff Copeland says:

lol ehhh it was not to bad now over the limit month before oy aka injury night galore i think only matches worth that ppv was mysterio vs punk and i guess cena batista yea fatal 4 way it was like when hell in a cell first did there own ppv with 3 cell matches aka over kill or breaking point a ppv i liked sad it never got alot of love cause breaking point 09 was good i quit cena rko legacy vs dx falls count anywhere submission match christian vs regal ecw title only blahs were punk taker world title submission match and khali vs kane cane match if u have not seen it its a good ppv

          • attitude.era.4life says:

I own all ppv’s from 1985- Summerslam 2012..that’s where the fun stopped for me, regarding collectin whole years. I still collect Royal Rumble and WrestleMania..and if some matches I love are not being able to get otherwise on bluray, I get them that way..

So, yeah, I am familiar with Breaking point.. it’s all a matter of taste, I guess.. I liked Bragging Rights much more.. the Fatal 4 way match that night..and especially the aftermath.. was great..The Iron man match was the best ever face-off between Cena and Orton..and deserves to be released on bluray. Their I quit match reminded me of some bad torture sadistic B-rated movies..which was then repeated in even worser way at Over the Limit 2011 with Cena vs. The Miz.

  12. attitude.era.4life says:

Really great overview of Jericho’s career.. I wished the Rock match was indeed replaced with the Vengeance ’01 match, and one of the 2007 matches with Orton was there instead of the one picked.

Really really like that they have put both Punk matches..it gives the folks that does not have them on bluray the chance to get those epic clashes in full hd.. love it.

    • attitude.era.4life says:

another reason for getting the bluray version is the ladder match against Christian.. 2004 is one of my absolute favorite years, and I was disappointet to see no matches from that year on the DVD version, so happy to see that masterpiece on the BD.

      • Jeff Copeland says:

that match i found so boring it was just blah to me best jericho vs christian match was there steel cage match on raw in may when christian got injured i would of liked to see jericho vs shelton from taboo tuesday from 04 or even the handicap match from backlash vs chrisitan and trish

        • attitude.era.4life says:

It’s always nice to see Trish in Full HD, so vote up absolutely for that backlash match, sure.. 😉

          • LP1 says:

The only way you’ll see Trish in full HD is if its anything from 2008 and up. As noted many times before, WWE recorded their shows on tape and tapes can’t be converted to HD. The best you’ll get is whatever the best DVD quality there is already. If WWE recorded their shows on film instead of tape then it would be possible to upgrade their pre-2008 footage to HD.

            • attitude.era.4life says:

May be otherwise in US with different kind of technic or something.. I don’t know.. I experience more depth in the picture quality than DVD, even with pre-HD shot material.. comparing for example the main event of WM 17 on the Silvervision tagged classic dvd to the match on Austin’s bluray, I have to say, I clearly can see a slightly improvement..even, if I compare the slightly better DVD version of WM 17 on the anthology version, I still see a better pict and sound quality.

Guess, it also depends how focused one is on details, and the eyes and ears that are experiencing differently.

              • LP1 says:

If there’s any difference at all it may be subtle and not really noticeable. Either way it’s still not close to full HD. Anything pre-2008 will show up on blu-ray at 480p, tops. Full HD is 1080p.

                • attitude.era.4life says:

One of the reasons, why I did not continue my subscription to the Network is, that the quality of the pre-HD filmed material did not look that mindblowing compared to same material on bluray, or even if I put an anthology dvd in my bluray player, it looks similar to the quality of the Network.

If that is not a difference to notice, then I don’t know.. but, again, it all depends how focused one is on details, I guess..

Either way, it is important to preserve the history of wrestling, and in particular WWF/E, that I assume, we all in here can agree on. 🙂

                  • LP1 says:

That’s really not a fair comparison to make. The reason pre-2008 material looks better on Blu-ray then it does on the Network is because the Network is only shown in 720p HD whereas blu-rays are full 1080p HD. So you’re obviously going to see some difference. But either way we’re getting off the original point, which was there’s no way to see any pre-2008 material in full 1080p HD because tapes can’t be converted the way films can.

And I agree that it’s best to preserve the history of wrestling. WWE needs to keep those original master tapes in the best shape possible, even after they transfer them to a digital format.

  13. Scott says:

I’ll always be disappointed in a release which could include CJ/Benoit v HHH/Austin, yet doesn’t.

  14. Jeff Copeland says:

as a loyal Jericholic buy i am kinda dissapointed no survivor series match vs kane or rebellion cause there last man standing was blah >.<!!! but over all not to bad i would of liked to see vengeance 01 match where he beat the rock to win the world title but there rumble match is all right. 05 would of liked to see his match vs shelton or 04 taboo tuesday both really good matches. sad no benoit but i understand why o well this warrior and ecw vol 3 some damn good blurays/dvds coming up wait wait COME ON BAAAABYYYY!!! 😀
