To me, it’s a no brainer. If you’re gonna do a set on The Streak, wait till The Streak’s over and then release a DVD/blu ray set with all the Streak matches following a documentary on it covering its birth, origin, impact, ending, etc. Instead of releasing the 20-0 set, they should’ve just released this one as the sole definitive Streak collection. If only they waited a few more years….

  2. Jesse Gregg says:

The Streak Sould had Never Ended, This Is Bullshit, Vince Sould have His Brains Stomp Out His Ass, Taker Sould had Went 25-0 and Retired!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Kay says:

    Disc 4 looks amazing!!

  4. WrestlingBuddy89 says:

What??? This set is all repeats. I already have every WrestleMania with Undertaker. Why would I buy this set when I can keep getting up and change disc after disc to watch the streak. 21 matches and all repeats.. i bet there’s even that stupid “dont try this at home” thing I can’t skip. Repeat City!

    • AmericanDream83 says:

How are you surprised that the Undertaker 21-1 WrestleMania set is all repeats? What part of that title made you think you’d be getting unreleased matches?

  5. SCSA says:

I wud hav brought it if it had come out on blu-ray!

  6. Justin F says:

    This is Bull****

    Clap Clap ClapClapClap

  7. LP1 says:

There’s no reason for this to be on 5 discs. They could’ve easily fit it all onto 3 discs. Just looks like a lot of unused space on those discs, especially disc 5. Then again there really is no reason for this release at all.

  8. John says:

While the set looks cool, I am going to pass on it, I am more than happy with the 20-0 streak blu-ray

  9. R&REXPRESS#1 says:

Absolutely love how they told us all repeatedly that it has an extended documentary UNTIL we place our orders & now it’s being changed….can u say bait & switch?? False advertisement ??? I have a right mind to cancel my order & let the gold diggers keep the shit.

    • Daniel Bee says:

If you mean us, well we didn’t say that for sure, but we speculated it. That’s what we thought. WWE didn’t say it either.

Pre-orders can be cancelled so there’s that.

      • R&REXPRESS#1 says:

I do have a list of sites where I most certainly DID read it….I never said this site was among them, I simply use this site as a sounding board just as everyone else here does so there’s THAT.

        • Daniel Bee says:

Well other sites read our news and go off that, maybe word it differently so it sounds like fact.

The content listings come out here before the DVD’s are released that gives you the opportunity to decide whether or not to buy them. 🙂

        • Mark D says:

Why even bother going to other sites for DVD news? What they do know – they read here and what they don’t know – they make up. Where is that Booker T DVD?

  10. Alan Shore says:

And the Bray Wyatt match has been left off because….

    • Daniel Bee says:

…It has zero to do with Taker’s streak?

    • Donaghy says:

It wasn’t part of the streak

    • Kay says:

Duh, so they can sell another extended set next year! WWE can repackage “The Streak” as how many *consecutive* WrestleMania events Undertaker has wrestled in. Pretty impressive at 15 (and counting?). I think he has set a new record (unless you count Kane’s WM19 dark match, but I don’t).

  11. Jeff Copeland says:

ehhh i sorta wish they could go back and to revamped dvds like lets say tombstone from 05 but i guess we really don’t need to cause of the network.

i hope the new superstars dvds that are coming out this year are worth it.

i say next series should be legend superstars dvds like Rowdy Piper, Dusty Rhodes, Terry Funk. and Macho Man that be a cool idea

  12. Mark Markson says:

If only WWE will also release a 5 disc set with unreleased Undertaker matches. THAT would be interesting.

    • attitude.era.4life says:

the inevitable career view release on the Deadman imo will have to be more than 4 discs DVD / 3 discs BR, now, when they release this as a 5 discs version of his WM matches.

I know, that WM was/is a huge important milestone in the Undertakers story..but, it’s absolutely not the only milestone.

When time comes, I say, that at least, they can not go below the 3 BR / 4 DVD discs of Austin’s. Undertaker was/is at least as important part of history as Hogan and the 3:16.

  13. attitude.era.4life says:

Only reason I would get this, is, if Cash’s and Metallica’s songs from 27 were put back in there.. and even if that would be the case, which I highly doubt, I still would re-reconsider purchasing it, since there’s no Blue version.

  14. Dylan says:

am i the only one who think this screams money grab?

  15. RabidHeat says:

In a way I suppose it’s quite good for those that bought the original edition that there is no documentary on this version – gives a bit of value back to that original edition.

Re: it being “unedited” though – I guarantee you we ain’t getting Limp Bizkit’s theme at ‘Manias 17-19, lol, which is enough to bug me.

    • koberulz says:

The Limp Bizkit theme is present in all relevant matches on the Network. Can’t imagine a DVD would be any different.

      • RabidHeat says:

It does cost more to clear music for DVDs, as it’s a physical product where the profit is coming directly from that item, and the network is streaming. There, I expect the music to still be edited.
