    i love wwe dvd news

  2. SRB says:

Not too sure what you guys are talking about. In my Blu Ray Edge DVD I went to the special features and Edge actually came out of my TV and allowed me to ask him something. I knew his neck was in bad shape but I requested that he spear me through my kitchen oven. He did and after he was done he went back into the TV while I laid on the floor

  3. BrockLensar@$$kicker says:

So Dvd buyers get screwed…blue ray is hardly different…just five bucks more. So why does Dvd get NO EXTRAS HARDly? I want to be able to watch this is ten years looking back remembering promos…but because I don’t get blue ray even though I have it on ps3 wwe screws u. F**k wwe Dvd producers.

  4. Anonymous says:

Basically Dvd buyers get screwed out of everything because we pay 5 bucks less. F**K WWE. Jerkoffssssss… BS. Blue ray is stupid anyway I hardly notice a difference…its not like it jumps out at you as if you are there. Little more clear.

  5. Legend22 says:

YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! WrestleMania 28 DVD YES! I agree with NWO 4 Life because Vince is crazy that he is trying to stop the Yes! chants and Daniel Bryan is totally over with the fans.

  6. NWO 4 Life says:

Yes Yes Yes Yes, can’t wait to get this DVD and WWE is stupid not to let Daniel Yesman Bryan win the world title back Yessssss!

  7. Legend_Killer says:

Silver Vision is still not answering any questions on the (upcoming?) availability of the removed pre-orders, but on its Facebook page, it included some hints in its answers to the customers’ questions about this issue. It would have nothing to do with Bly Ray regions, nor with financial trouble. They still refuse to disclose the real reason however, which is quite annoying. Searching on the internet, I found this article, stating that Silver Vision had renewed its distribution license with WWE (article dating from April 22nd 2009). Considering we are April 2012 now, it could be that the agreement was a 3-year-deal that has recently expired and should be renegotiated. However, it remains speculation and it seems as if we won’t even know this week what the deal about it really is. Disappointing it is…

    • tnawwejosh says:

This seems like a logical reason but why the silence from them? I don’t get why they can’t say we are currently negotiating the license or is there some legal stuff?

      • Anonymous says:

I heard from an inside source that Silversion actually is in financial problems when it comes to the WWE releases and that WWE is switching to a different international distributor

  8. harman says:

i wanted to buy bluray but DVD has fancy cover around it.

  9. Anonymous says:

    Will it include stupid concerts

  10. Chris says:

Very disappointing extras, even for the bluray. ๐Ÿ™

It’s a shame that PPV DVDs released years ago had better extras than most present day PPV releases.

    • Dave says:

Don’t forget when WWE went HD, recording on DVD takes up a lot more space on a single layer disc, which is why they had to cut down the extras to fit the standard DVD size without compressing. Doing so would cause major pixelation issues.

They can use a dual layer DVD, but then the costs will be passed on to the consumer. Would you rather pay $15-$20 for a three disc Wrestlemania set or $25-$30? Would you rather pay $20-$25 for a regular ppv instead of $12-$15? If they used dual layer discs, then the price would go up.

Also back then PPV DVDs cost a lot more than now. I remember WM17 was $35 Canadian when it came out. Even a PPV like No Mercy 2001 was about $25.

  11. William says:

The Once ln A Lifetime Special should of been added to the Blu-Ray exclusives. l’m still gonna get it though. The WrestleMania 28 logo looks sick!

  12. NWO 4 Life says:

I wonder if both DVD and Blu ray has The Rock rap and Cena rap for their entrance.

  13. Dave says:

The 3rd Disc from Silvervision will likely be the RAW and SD go home shows.

  14. tnawwejosh says:

Still got Silvervision’s extra disc to come!! Which could have upto 4 hours of extra stuff. I hope we get some extra Rock/Cena promos, some good RTWM matches and Lesnars return.

  15. J says:

I’m still waiting to hear if the blu will have a slipcover or not.

  16. Vincenzzzzzo says:

I would have chose the Once in a Lifetime special as an extra rather than the blu-ray promos :/

  17. WWEStyleProfile says:

Still not filling up these dvds with loads of extras remember Wrestlemania dvds from the past had stacked extras wrestlemania 20 has still the best extras in any dvd..Comon WWE you can do much better..Without us fans buying these dvds you wouldn’t be wear u are today..Us Fans Make WWE

  18. Alex says:

I only hope WWE doesn’t cheap out and replace the Metallica music from the event. “The Memory Remains” was, in my mind, the theme song to that whole Undertaker-HHH rivalry.

    • MattyT says:

Metallica’s music is probably expensive (or just a pain) for licensing for a mass DVD/Blu-Ray release. Unfortunately, like last year, I’m not expecting it for these reasons.

  19. Chris Smith says:

    Damn! No Rock concert either.

  20. Mark D says:

No Once in a Lifetime special? ๐Ÿ™

    • Daniel Bee says:

If you think about it the Once in a Lifetime thing was full of licensed music (there was a list on WWE.com of every track), so they’d have probably have to pay some serious royalties if releasing it “as is”. Without that music it wouldn’t be as good.

That said, I watched the press conference and didn’t think it was anything great.

      • Mark D says:

Maybe, but they must have agreed deals on the music as many of them were used as part of WrestleMania as well.

I wonder what SilverVision will be putting on their 3rd blu disc, hope it’s something good and not just the pre-Mania SmackDown (and it actually goes ahead!).

        • Daniel Bee says:

Sure, I just can’t see them forking out the royalties doubly for that many tracks. We’ve seen that TV and Home Video can be two different beasts when it comes to this.

          Silver Vision’s extras… yeah, probably Smackdown. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  21. very sick set. i put this number 3 on wrestlemanias. behind 19 and x-seven
