1. Sounds good but as usual there are glaring exceptions

2. SDeldredge says:

It strips legitamacy from the list not having Ric Flair’s return to the WWE and the nWo’s attack on the Rock not on the DVD.

Vince is such a butt-hurt baby when it comes to that kind of crap.

3. Anonymous says:

I saw the 3-disc DVD set out already at K-Mart here in NJ today. Unfortunately they don’t carry WWE Blu-Rays or I would’ve picked it up.

4. Shane C. Montgomery says:

I found this box set on DVD today almost eight days early and I would love to share the pics with everyone but not sure how to upload them?

5. Da Beast says:

Will be getting!!!

6. luiginyc84 says:

Love the Legends Roundtable discussions. Especially that they have Road Dogg on it. They should add a Legends Roundtable to all dvds based on older eras. They are great

7. luiginyc84 says:

Definitely gonna by the Blu Ray

8. Steve G says:

How is The New Age Outlaws vs. The Rock & Stone Cold not on here. DX reformed with the 4 best members! Good thing they left that off and have included Hornswoggle revealed as Vince’s love child instead.

9. The only moment that immediately strikes me as missing is when ECW invaded in 1997. Eliminators hitting Total Elimination on the crew guy and Sabu jumping off the sign were classic Raw moments.

10. john says:

will the raw 1000 in its entirety be included in the blu-ray also?

11. m.blier says:

if it was a 4 disc set we would have at least some older matches.

12. nightmare says:

I am shock that WWE Nexus destroy Monday Night Raw is not on here that was a holy Crap moment for sure wow .

13. nightmare says:

Yea I agree on these for sure Blood Bath: A Compilation of The Brood giving blood baths

Undertaker & Kane saga: Clips showing the lead up to The Undertaker vs Kane match at Wrestlemania XIV

Darkness overcomes the WWE: Clips of The Undertaker and The Ministry of Darkness which is one storyline back in the day that never gets that much attention and I thought the stuff they did was really great

If fact I would pay triple to have these exspecially all the Brood stuff .

14. Trent Williams says:

I don’t know I’m kind of split on this DVD whether to buy it because there are some moments in the Top 100 that I haven’t seen in awhile, but a good many of the moments are from the last 4 years and they aren’t even that good of moments. Also I am so sick of seeing the Austin beer truck segment it isn’t funny every time they show old Raw footage for a special it always has the beer truck segment. Here are a list of the moments I don’t think should have been included in the Top 100 either because they are terrible segments or they have been shown too much on other DVD’s:
99. Tea Time with Santino • Nov 8, 2010 (Comedy segment and not even that good of a comedy segment)
94. Are You Ready For Some Wrestling? • Nov 22, 2004 (They are going to take up a moment just for some little video that does nothing but mock the NFL and has nothing really to do with anything WWE is doing)
93. DX mocks the McMahons • Jun 26, 2006 (Shown to much)
78. Musical Chairs • Jul 5, 2004 (Another comedy segment that was pretty much pointless)
66. Cemented Corvette • Oct 12, 1998 (Shown to much)
65. Donald Trump – New Chairman of WWE • Jun 15, 2009 (He didn’t even do anything he just said he was buying WWE and then next week he sold it back or whatever and it introduced to horrible guest host concept I think this just made the list because McMahon and Trump are friends)
62. Bob Barker Hosts Raw • Sept 7, 2009 (I didn’t like this night on Raw as much as other people might have they should have just had a whole moment that summarized all the celebrity guest hosts instead of giving all of them their own moment)
52. John Cena vs. Kevin Federline • Jan 1, 2007 (Nobody liked this when it happened and they are going to dislike it even more for taking up a moment)
48. DX Reunion at Raw 1000 • Jul 23, 2012 (I wouldn’t have put this iif they didn’t have the whole Raw 1000 show on disc 3 where we can see it there)
41. Stone Cold Drives Zamboni • Sept 28, 1998 (Shown to much)
38. Batista Quits WWE • May 24, 2010 (What was the moment here? He was sitting in a wheel chair and said he quit nothing special about that)
31. Stone Cold Stuns Mr. McMahon • Sept 22, 1997 (Shown to much)
25. Bedpan McMahon • Oct 5, 1998 (Shown to much)
7. DX Mocks the Nation • Jul 6, 1998 (Shown to much)
4. Tyson and Austin • Jan 19, 1998 (Shown to much)
2. This Is Your Life • Sept 27, 1999 (Shown way to much)
1. Beer Bath • Mar 22, 1999 (Shown way way way to much)
Here are some moments I would have liked to see:
10 Man War: Triple H, X-Pac, Chris Benoit, Perry Saturn, & Dean Malenko v.s. The Rock, Cactus Jack, Rikishi, & Too Cool – Feb 2, 2000 (I wish they would have just let Benoit be in one moment so they could show this match I remember this match being talked about highly which for a 10 man tag match is really good because they don’t get complimented often)

Blood Bath: A Compilation of The Brood giving blood baths

Undertaker & Kane saga: Clips showing the lead up to The Undertaker vs Kane match at Wrestlemania XIV

Darkness overcomes the WWE: Clips of The Undertaker and The Ministry of Darkness which is one storyline back in the day that never gets that much attention and I thought the stuff they did was really great

Down with Titan: The moment when Big Show pulled down the Titan Tron screen. That is actually one of my first memories of watching Raw back in 1999.

There are probably alot more that I can’t think of right at this moment
Can someone tell me what the following moments are because I can’t tell by title given:
97. WrestleMania XIV Challenge • Mar 2, 1998 (Is this the Tyson/Austin confrontation where all the people are standing in the ring and Austin/Tyson go at it? If so this will be on the list above)
96. Mouth-To-Mouth • May 27, 1996
83. Mr. McMahon’s Birthday Bash with DX • Aug 24, 2009 (What actually happens in this moment I remember the moment itself, but I can’t remember the details of what happened)
46. Mankind Attacks Jim Ross • Jun 9, 1997
14. Mr. McMahon Appreciation Night • Jul 11, 2007 (Once again I remember the moment just not the details is this the one where Vince’s limo blows up?)
10. WrestleMania XXVI Challenge• Feb 22, 2010
15. m.blier says:

the good news ,no mr.mcmahon kiss my you know what club.

16. nightmare says:

Why does WWE have to have all these black bars on there videos now I mean come on why can’t they be full screen or widescreen it’s a pain in the butt to watch this release now it’s fine if y have a small tv but when you have a 47 inch tv like I have it’s a pain in the butt .

• Mark D says:

The sidebars are added to the older footage because they have to do this to make their DVD/Blu-rays have a 16:9 image ratio. If they didn’t add sidebars they would have to either: 1. crop the bottom and top off the image or 2. stretch (and distort) the image. If you really hate the sidebars you can adjust your TV settings to achieve either of the methods desribed above.

Personally the side bars don’t bother me in the slightest. I would much rather have the sidebars and have the ability to change it myself (if I really wanted) than have them decide the method – either croping the top and bottom or stretching it.

who care bret hart

18. Gabriel says:

Looks good, but here’s my question. It’s not a question on whether this dvd will be condensed. My question is how condensed will this dvd be, cause if it is I ain’t buying it.

19. insanetombstone96 says:

PIPE BOMB!!

20. FUCK says:

skip this dvd !

21. Anonymous says:

2009-2012 are not Raw’s worst Years none of em are.
AND Quite bitching ya never happy fuckers

22. SRB says:

The Legends of Wrestling – The History of Raw… Love that they’ve been including these lately.

23. Tony Kegger says:

A lot of repeats, but some of this stuff looks good like CM Punk’s MitB cash-in. But this looks like it is 75% Best of RAW 15th Anniversary.

• some guy says:

Well mathematically that would make sense, no?

• Tony Kegger says:

I guess it does make math sense but if I have RAW 15th Anniversary, why get this? Some of the repeats are repeats that I thought weren’t good enough for the last RAW DVD. In my opinion, the people who should buy this are people who want RAW 1000 and/or doesn’t have RAW 15th Anniversary. I have RAW 15th Anniversary and I have the best moments from RAW 1000 on DVD so I think I’ll skip it until I find it for a dollar in 2018.

24. RabidHeat says:

I’m definitely not buying this. I’m not slagging it off, I mean if you don’t already have Best of Raw 15th Anniversary and OMG, then it’s quite a good set, but I do and therefore this is just pointless duplication of MANY moments. Plus at least my Raw 15 set doesn’t have the ratio bars.

Why do WWE seem to think that Snitsky baby-punt is such a great moment?

• t says:

So does Raw 100 moments have ratio bars?

• RabidHeat says:

I’m sure all the pre-2008 stuff will. That’s how it with all releases these days. It annoys me more than the blurring ever did. No-one on this site never seems to complain about the bars though, dunno why ’cause they complain about other stuff, lol.

• Dave says:

Again with the ratio bars…LOL! seems like people are just too thick headed to understand…they think they do but have absolutely no clue.

Ratio bars are here to stay…live with it…all pre-HD footage will have ratio bars…unless you want to zoom or stretch the picture to look like absolute crap…its not going to happen.

• RabidHeat says:

Dave, get stuffed. I didn’t say I didn’t understand the ratio bars. I know why they do it, and that they have to because of the HD footage. I was simply expressing a personal opinion that I don’t like them, and they distract me so much (particularly when they have colour patterns or logos on them), that it almost makes me wish HD had never come along. I’m entitled to think what I want, and have you have no right to tell me to get over it. Stop trying to be such a big man while sitting in the glow of your computer screen, when you’re probably a coward in real life.

• Dave says:

If you don’t like ratio bars thats your problem…WWE is not going to change them, so whining and bitching on here won’t help…so might as well just accept it.

• warresg says:

Black bar in my opinion is still better than colourful bar. at least not so distracting. tv in the older days are 4:3 so old footage are in this ratio but now tv is 16:9 so the new footage are in 16:9 ratio. if you want to show a 4:3 footage on a 16:9 tv, there will be black unless you re-author the footage to become 16:9 ratio. but when you do so, the footage will be stretch horizontally and it will be even more horrible to watch.

• Anonymous says:

Stretched pictures aren’t that bad. I’ve been watching 4:3 WWE footage stretched for nearly 10 years now and it doesn’t spoil my enjoyment.

25. t says:

Hi all, when you compare this set with OMG! and 15th Anniversary Raw and Attitude set, what you think?

• warresg says:

of cos this is better ie. with the blurs and beeps

• t says:

Is 100 moments uncensored? Are current and future products maybe uncensored too?

• WWEATTITUDEERA says:

Yes WWE can use the WWF Scratch logo on all future products NO Blurring and No Bleeping of the WWF now, They can say WWF as much as they Want, The Matches that they include will be the original airings they will no editing unless there was when the match originally aired !!
Has been since the Brock Lesnar Here Comes the Pain Collector’s Edition, NWO The Revolution and WWE The Attitude Era DVD’s/ Blu-rays!!

26. Anonymous says:

When more than 20% of the list comes from the last 3 years of programming you have a big problem. There’s WAY, WAY TOO MUCH JUNK from Raw’s worst years: 2009-2012. On the flip side, they did do an excellent job in handling the only period that rivaled it in poor quality programming, that being the 1994-1995 era. There’s also too much from 2007 and not enough from 2000 and 2001. In reality, there’s plenty of stuff missing. For me, the biggest one I can currently come up with is the moment where Ric Flair returns to Raw in 2001 to reveal that he’s a co-owner. How on Earth does that huge moment not crack the Top 100 yet something, anything, from the last three years does?

• t says:

No blurs and bleeps for sure? This would be a plus. I wonder if the Raw 20th Anniversary set will also be uncensored and if it will be chronologically like the 15th Anniversary.

27. m.blier says:

the first wrestler to invade the wwe in 2001 from wcw was lance storm and it was from may 2001 on raw.too bad not listed.

28. indyfan says:

I thought this was already released as Raw 15 th year anniversary dvd set?

29. Kyle Willard says:

Im really happy that Goldberg’s Debut is included. I wish Jericho’s 2007 return was on the list though, along with bret introducing the new hart foundation (Moment always stuck out to me.)

30. Anonymous says:

I don’t like the Legends of Wrestling things. It’s a lazy way of filling space when they could make a longer documentary or more matches.

31. KarlKayfabian says:

I would love to see the OTHER Shawn Michaels vs Marty Jannety RAW match from ’93 released with the original commentary.

32. KarlKayfabian says:

That John Cena draft moment is ridiculously overblown, overhyped, overrated, and overplayed. That said, The bluray exclusives, including the LOW, are reason enough to pick this up.

33. Mable says:

WWE should really throw in the moment when The Hurricane pinned the Rock on RAW and how he came really close to beating Triple H a few weeks later.

34. Scsa says:

I’m happy to finally see – no. 7. DX Mocks the Nation • Jul 6, 1998 / DX Impersonates The Nation (Jul 6, 1998) – though they should also of have added the: DX Impersonates The Corporation! Anyway its good that 1 of em finally came on BLU-RAY / DVD 😉

• Steven says:

Actually this will be the 2nd DVD/BR release in less than a month that has DX mocking the Nation. It was just released on the Attitude Era.

35. Hobgoblin238 says:

This blue ray stuff pisses me off. Why all the great extra content on it? Why cannot the same be done for DVDs?

• Dave says:

I’m sure you’re probably too young to understand the concept of business but the reason why Blu-ray gets extra stuff is to entice sales for that format and Blu-ray is a bit more expensive compared to DVD…why would exact same content be used for both versions and yet Blu-ray more expensive?!

If you don’t understand take a look at movie studios when they include Blu-rays features not available on the DVD.

• LP1 says:

Blu-ray is also more expensive because it can hold more room on the discs than DVD’s can. So it’s impossible for DVD’s to have all the same features as blu-rays without adding more discs to the package.

• Straightedge47 says:

It’s not impossible, 3 disk dvds used to be longer than the 2 disk blu rays are now. The dvd sets are 2-3 hours shorter since wwe started releasing everything on blu ray too. I’m not saying blu rays can’t hold more than a dvd can. Just a 3 disc dvd set could easily hold all the footage released on a 2 disc blu ray.

36. Anonymous says:

too many repeats

• Scsa says:

True! Especially silly stuff like Snitsky kicking a baby doll in to the crowd! They could hav added better things like; ‘D-X Impersonating the Corporation n others!

37. J says:

I still can’t believe the full moment of when Shawn came out as Taker & then had the DX cook-out has never been on dvd. When it wasn’t named on the Attitude Era dvd, I thought for sure they would have put it on RAW 100. Maybe next year.

38. WOIBARRAH says:

Surprised WWE actually put Punk’s promo at top 5…..interesting.

• ChadWWE says:

Well usually all countdowns overrate recent moments to make it seem like you are experiencing history now. SO I’m not shocked it’s that high, but throwing in the #1 draft pick in the top 10 is a joke. It’d be nice to see a break-down per year. Most the recent ones involve an old-timer (Rock/Brock).

39. Chris Smith says:

I’m fine with the list. Only major gripe is Number 48.
Why include any segments from Raw 1000 in the countdown when the entire show is on disc 3?

40. Vincenzzzzzo says:

44. Bret Hart Shoves Mr. McMahon • Mar 17, 1997

I hope the entire match with Sid is included, plus the brawl with Taker, Stone Cold, Sid, Shawn Michaels after Bret’s promo.

41. Anonymous says:

So, we can all agree that the biggest moments left on here are:

-Radicalz Debut
-Angle Moonsault off the cage
-DDP as Stalker
-nWo rams ambulance with Rock inside with an 18 wheeler
-Vince’s limo explodes

Some other lesser known moments I personally would have liked to have seen are:
-New Age Outlaws take out LOD, powerbomb through the announce table and shave Hawks mohawk
-HHH nearly loses to Taka Michinoku
-Rock comes out of the crowd to Rock Bottom HHH, enabling D-lo to win the European title

I apologize if i’m posting too much.

• Scsa says:

Yes, I agree to – when Rock cane out of the crowd to Rock Bottom HHH, enabling D-lo to win the European title, should have been on as well as when DX Impersonates The Corporation!

• AJ says:

People still don’t get why the Radicalz debut isn’t on there. The limo explosion IS on there. And the Hogan crashing the ambulance was so bad and made so little sense, I’m glad it isn’t on there.

42. Anonymous says:

Here is the tally for the countdown by year. (This is proof that I have no life.)

1993-4 moments
1994-NONE! (poor 1994)
1995-1 moment
1996-3 moments
1997-11 moments
1998-12 moments(most)
1999-9 moments
2000-2 moments(surprisingly low)
2001-3 moments
2002-6 moments
2003-5 moments
2004-5 moments
2005-4 moments
2006-2 moments
2007-6 moments
2008-5 moments
2009-7 moments
2010-7 moments
2011-6 moments
2012(so far)-2 moments

I apologize if I spoil anything here, but I thought DX reunites in 2012 and Kurt Angle Milk Truck were too high. Really glad to see Bret shoving Vince on there, too.

43. Anonymous says:

One of the moments has an incorrect date. Bret returned in 2010, not 2011. It is listed correctly on the extras but not the countdown.

44. Anonymous says:

I wonder what “WCW on Raw” is? Anyone know?

• Dave says:

Most likely the WCW match they had with Booker T vs Buff Bagwell.

• Vincenzzzzzo says:

Probably just a recap of when Linda McMahon demanded that WCW have some time on RAW right after the buyout. I think they only did it for a week though. I believe the match was Booker T vs Buff Bagwell as RAW’s main event that night or something. Chris Cruise and Arn Anderson did the commentary.

45. Maple Leaf says:

No limo explosion? No Rock return in 2001? No Radicalz debut? No Kurt Angle moonsault off the top of a cage?

And why are there no full matches?!? Forget it, not purchasing this PG garbage.

• AJ says:

Please tell me how PG garbage has anything to do with this listing. Most of the contents are from the era that was TV-14. It seems anytime somebody has an issue, it’s always PG. Which if PG is your argument lack of ratings or success, I don’t think you understand business.

• Anonymous says:

There is 20 years worth of stuff to condense into 100 moments. Of course some things will be omitted. If they did include the limo explosion people would complain that it was on OMG! which came out a year ago. Rock actually had two different comebacks — the 2001 one in which there was uncertainty relating to whether Rock would stay with WWF or join WCW, and his 2002 comeback where he cut the “get the F out” promo aimed at Steve Austin. So two comebacks in two years aren’t very remarkable. Radicalz debut can’t be used because of Benoit. I do agree on the Angle moonsault, though. They do have the Angle milk truck thing from around the same time, also.

• Anonymous says:

One of the moments has an incorrect date. Bret returned in 2010, not 2011.

• AJ says:

I really like this DVD. I will get the Blu-Ray for the roundtable and I can’t wait to see which of the matches will be in full. I wouldn’t be surprised if most are in full since they don’t have too many matches. The SmackDown DVD had 3-discs just for the countdown, I think this one only has 2 for the countdown.

• Dave says:

Rock’s return in 2001 wasn’t big at all…he was gone what 2-3 months?!

You seriously don’t know why Radicalz debut and Angle’s moonsault aren’t included by now?! as for the limo explosion, read the list carefully there is clearly “Mr. McMahon appreciation night” from 2007 in the countdown.

Maybe you should look at the list more carefully…i could count atleast 15 matches.

• Simon says:

Rock’s return in 2001 wasn’t big from a ‘Wow, The Rock’s back’ point of view; but it was a key storyline in the Invasion angle and thus worthy of inclusion IMO.

• John says:

I do not see 15 matches but since you see 15 matches, please list the 15 matches

• Dave says:

Here you go:

– Tuxedo Match • Jan 9, 1995
– Loser-Leaves-Raw Ladder Match • Oct 3, 2005
– Santino Marella: Milan Miracle • Apr 16, 2007
– Marty Jannetty vs. Shawn Michaels • May 17, 1993
– Big Shows First Match • Mar 22, 1999
– Loser-Leaves-Town Match • Jan 25, 1993
– Bret Hart vs. Stone Cold, Street Fight • April 21, 1997

I am a idiot, my apoligy, I did not see the spoilers button since I was tired

• Maple Leaf says:

half of those matches u listed i already have and are on so many other dvd sets.

another reason not to purchase this load of bull.

• WWEATTITUDEERA says:

John Cena vs. Kevin Federline • Jan 1, 2007 lol match of the century here guys, worth the dvd/blu-ray purchase alone, how this made number 52 is beyond me ‘Really Really’
From that list no way are the matches going to be in full, alone those total around 3hrs, the dvd will have to be shortened to be 7 hrs so they can fill the first 2 discs on the blu-ray version,
This should have really been a 4 disc set/ 3 disc blu-ray so just those matches can be in full!!

46. rohfan81 says:

will the segments be in theyre entirety

47. John says:

Why no matches? Good thing my friend is getting me this set for Christmas, otherwise, I would have passed on this since it does not have any matches

48. Vincenzzzzzo says:

Very good listing, I think. Love the fact they have another Legends of Wrestling roundtable as Blu-ray extra. That episode just debuted on Classics on Demand this month, and is 2 hours long! Now THATS a great Blu-ray exclusive! Looks like some of the moments I wanted to see on the Attitude Era set is actually on this one. Can’t wait to pick up the Blu-ray.

49. Brad Attitude says:

i like the inclusion of the Legends of Wrestling roundtable as a bluray exclusive. it makes it much more interesting and gives us a good detailed insight on particular subjects 🙂

50. Anonymous says:

Whoa, I am going to get this now. I wasn’t interested in it before but the list is fantastic. FINALLY “Choppy Choppy Your Pee Pee” gets on a DVD! I was hoping for more extras based on the moments, though.

• Anonymous says:

My main concern with the countdown was that it would have too many moments that OMG! The Top 50 Incidents in WWE History also had. That doesn’t appear to be the case. The list is quite balanced too. Two moments they forgot are DDP as the stalker and the nWo attacking Rock and ramming his ambulance with an 18 wheeler. I guess certain moments seem to be forgotten by whoever makes these things, but then I remember that they do have 20 years of stuff to sift through.

51. Simon says:

Will buy for the 1000th episode and the roundtable discussion, but the countdown doesn’t particularly enthrall me. And only three moments from 2001, which is a shame. There’s lots of untapped material from that year yet to be released on DVD.

• Anonymous says:

The extras focus way too much on 1998-1999 at the expense of other periods. I know that was a highwater mark for WWE, and they got burned on the poor sales of Raw: The Beginning, but it is going to get to the point that we are going to get sick of that period and will actually be craving for some of the less popular periods.

52. Daniel says:

Yes yes yes! Been waiting for this, can’t wait

53. some guy says:

They had me at “Choppy Choppy Pee Pee”

54. Paul says:

Probably not going to happen but after watching the Attitude Era Blu-ray I’m really hoping this is somehow rated TV-14…

55. Matt Periolat says:

Interesting listing. Actually surprised Foley’s title win did not crack the top ten.

For me, the big omission, while understandable, is Raw is Owen. Like it or not, it was one of the most memorable RAWs of all time.

***LIST SPOILER***

Please be uncensored, please be uncensored, please be uncensored…

57. WWEATTITUDEERA says:

i hope the matches are full in the moments list, could be highlights as the dvd runtime needs to run round 7 hrs and with the blu-ray exclusives running around 3 hrs as the legends round table alone is 2 hrs and the exclusive moments look like being a hour long, This is looking amazing thought, Could be the set of the year to me 🙂

58. Harry Faversham says:

The order of that list is insane.

59. Joe Israel says:

I avoided reading the spoilers for the actual list, but the fact that Piven (and therefore Summerfest) are referenced on this DVD at all is kind of ridiculous.

I also love that we getting another Legends of Wrestling Roundtable on the Blu Ray.

60. John Peterson says:

The debut of raw should of been number 1

61. @imdjluis says:

I had they continue to add an episode of Legends of Wrestling to more Blu-Ray releases. That was the best part of the nWo release.

62. Kyle Willard says:

Interesting. Definately a buy for me. The Blu Ray seems like a must too, those roundtables are sweet. A few moments i feel could’ve been added on, but overall seems like a good list.

63. jgreeds says:

Waaaay too many moments from the last few years. Besides, I’d rather forget the celebrity host segments than remember the.
