How many are from the first hardcore DVD ? Wondering if that is still worth picking up
I could be wrong but I counted between 12-13.
I just counted its at least over 45 on the dvd set alone bro.
45? What are you smoking!
The original Hardcore DVD only had 15 matches on it in total.
No Shawn/Razor WM 10 Ladder Match? I’ll pass.
Lol – I’m one of the few who really appreciates what you’re doing with this whole thing. You remind me of member ‘RacistHulkHogan’ on LordsofPain.net
This is a hardcore DVD what the hell does that have to do with Shawn Michaels and razor
yea well this set looks like remember most matches last less the 5 minutes, they’ll probably pan to the crowd when someone gets bashed in the head with a chair or choked, so ill wait to hear reviews before purchasing this set. Putting away my boner for now.
This whole “No chair shots to the head” thing started because of concussion issues so I don’t understand why they are editing them out of matches from 10+ years ago. It’s beyond stupid and absolutely pointless. That being said it has a TV-14 rating and not PG so we should get blood and chair shots. I hope at least. It’s not hardcore without blood and chair shots to the cranium.
Did you not see that it’s going to be released with a tv 14 rating? They said that if you read the article.
I’m appalled that even with 50+ matches on the set, yet there’s only 1 match featuring Road Dogg only. 1 MATCH ONLY. Forget it, I aint buying this.
LOL! Not buying something because there is only one match featuring … ROAD DOGG… on it. Oh yes, that ring general, that ‘Master of the Mat’ … the ROAD DOGG Jesse James!!! Not a day goes by that I don’t remember some of his classics from the late 90s. That guy could put on a clinic with anybody.
Would you buy the set if it didn’t feature guys that made the division exciting & only guys who just had spotfest matches who were less important?
If you still said yes, then you’re not worth conversing with. If u said no however then you’ll understand where I’m coming from.
But even hardcore fans wouldn’t say that Road Dogg made the division exciting, lol.
My only complaint is the battle royal from WM2000 wasnt on it. Other than that, great job WWE.
Agreed.
yeah but we got the i guess you could say slim version of that with unforgiven 6 man 10 minute version on the dvd so its something at lease
^agreed
This set looks amazing. I’ll get to see so many midcard and main event superstars/characters from the Attitude Era all the way through to the beginning of the Ruthless Aggression Era!
I really hope they do a set on the European Championship. Didn’t last that long but there were some greats that held that title. British Bulldog, Owen Hart, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, William Regal, etc. I would love to see that.
So weird to see a Jakked match make it to a DVD. They obviously dug deep for this one; it’s about as comprehensive as it gets, taking advantage of the usually short duration of hardcore matches.
Going to definitely get this set. I have the 4 championship sets already out (World Heavyweight Championship, WWE Championship, United states championship, and Intercontinental championship dvd sets.) I love when they release title history sets. The Hardcore championship is my favorite title. So Im definitely excited about September. Hopefully wwe will release more championship sets. Like The Women’s/Diva’s championship set, The Ecw World Heavyweight championship set (that includes back when it was just a heavyweight regional title till its end in 2010), World/WWE tagteam championship set, maybe a 2 disc set on the European title?, Cruiserweight/Light Heavyweight championship set you know just to name some ideas. Love to see those out. Also I’d love to see a 3 disc dvd set on Bruno Sammartino. I’m from Pittsburgh. That whould be awesome. I only seen a few of his matches and whould love to see more. And maybe just maybe a set focused on Gorilla Monsoon. I whould love to see more of his matches as well. Also one more suggestion another set on Ric Flair. Just matches. I whould love that to include his Fight to the Finish against Randy Orton from 2009.
European could be 3 disc
There are sets featuring the ECW World Title, ECW Television Title and ECW World Tag Team Titles. RF Video released those. Even though they are only DVD-R, they are worth getting.
The Hardcore belt was absolutley my favourite belt growing up as a kid watching the WWF circa 99/01, I will defintley be picking this up man, 9 hours of content devoted to Hardcore matches? Oh Hell yeah I will be all over this man! Cant wait!
Only 1 thing would be wrong with this this great piece of collection of trash-pearls:
If they “forgot” to put on the PLAY-ALL button! :-/ (no, it’s not a relic from the past..see disc 1 of the Bluray versions of Attitude Era 1 and Batista: Unleashed!)
This is going to be way up there with my favorite releases, like the OMG volumes. Short matches, yeaaah.. I really don’t care.. they are way more entertaining than the boring crap they put on these years.
TV-14 so that means there shouldn’t be any chair shots to the head or anything else edited out.
YES! YES! YES! To this set. I can’t wait! The match listing looks absolutely amazing especially for someone who loves the Attitude Era specifically the mid-carders from the Attitude Era. September can’t get here fast enough!
Now This is how you do a Blu ray, Literally its stacked from top to bottom and i really feel the listing is awesome and nothing is left off that should have been included (Ok they should have included Undertaker vs Matt Hardy from the Decemeber 20 2001 Episode of Smackdown), all the great matches are there and the full running of the blu ray is used at least up to 9 hours which is fantastic and gives that insentive to purchase the set from your own money, look forward to this when September rolls around!!
I think people might be getting a little excited when they see “60 matches” mentioned; just remember how long these matches tend to be, lol.
Holy shit, what a set! Can’t wait for this one even though I got to remember most matches are short or have interference
One word for this set: WOW!!! Can’t wait!!!
THIS IS AWEEEEEEEESOME!!!!!
One word: Getting! 😀
well… FK this won me over 🙂 😀 would of liked bit more bossman and hardcore bubba but this will be a nice addtion to the vhs and dvd of wwf hardcore i got.
SEPTEMBER HURRY UP!!!
This is going to be fun. I loved when the Undertaker was hardcore champion. You will respect the Undertaker! 🙂
This set looks insane!!!!!!
