  1. Anan says:

We have one Steve Blackman match so far….him vs Edge vs Christian. Blackman was a hell of a Hardcore Champion and I fully expect to see more Blackman matches on here. His match with Shane at Summerslam 2000, vs Test, vs Albert, the aforementioned Hardcore Title match at Unforgiven 2000, should all make the cut.

Crash has had more than one Hardcore Title match with the MS Posse. The one above might be the one from the hotel room, the laundry mat, or the parking lot where the Posse, dressed up as clowns attacked him. The one with the Head Bangers took place a Fun Zone USA. I know it wasn’t much of a match, but just for laughs, I wanna see the one with Ivory where she was massaging his back, then smashed some glass of his head before pinning him in an attempt to win the gold.

Other matches I wanna see on here:
WM18 – the last WM this Championship was defended at. Started off as Maven vs Goldust, but then ended up in many backstage attempts, one in which Hurricane won in after Al Snow in a gold cart drove through a pile of boxes, then Mighty Molly turning hon Hurricane to win, then Christian winning it. Not sure if it went on from there.

Jeff Hardy vs RVD – Invasion 2001. One of the better matches of that night. You have classic hardcore style when having these two in that environment.

Jeff Hardy vs RVD – Summerslam 2001. I know it’s been released before, but that match exemplifies what hardcore means. As much as I enjoyed their Invasion match, this was better.

The above Crash Holy matches just illustrate that a Crash Holly set wouldn’t be so bad, even of it is just a complete set of his Hardcore matches as I don’t think every one of his 24/7 segments will make it onto this set alone. Three other talents that’ll be part of this set that deserve sets of their own….Booker T, Big Bossman, Steve Blackman.

To those who want Maven vs Undertaker:
I don’t know if your wanting to see Taker vs Maven has anything to do with loving Maven, hating Taker, or loving or hating Taker’s ABA period. But there’s far better matches. I named some above. But in addition to those, Kane vs Big Show vs Raven, Hardcore Title Triple Threat at WM17 which should definitely make the cut. As for Taker, I’m all in for an Undertaker match being on the set. But instead of the one vs Maven, I prefer Taker vs RVD from Vengeance 2001.

    • Ryan Johansson says:

Well I’m a fan of Maven but it’s also notable because it was basically the biggest win of Maven’s career and a huge upset like when he eliminated Taker at the Royal Rumble.

    • Ryan Johansson says:

If they made a DVD/ Blu-Ray for just Crash Holly I would buy it without hesitation. He was one of the guys who I loved when I was younger and still do.

    • Paul Timmons says:

A dvd set on Crash, Big Boss Man & Steve Blackman wouldn’t do very good sales.

  2. Ryan Johansson says:

I really hope they include Maven vs Undertaker and the Hardcore Open from Unforgiven 2000.

  3. Ryan Johansson says:

This is half the reason I am so excited for this release. Guys like Crash Holly, Al Snow, Big Bossman, Steve Blackman are rarely seen on other Match Compilations so it’s awesome to have a whole compilation just for them basically.

  4. Jeff Copeland says:

glad for crash mr 24/7 but eh once again alot of repeats from the vhs and dvd wwf hardcore i am hoping for more rare matches

    • Brad Attitude says:

It might be full of repeats, but think of the set as an update version of the vhs/dvd that came out in the early 2000s.

Brock Lesnar’s 2012 dvd and bluray had the same repeated matches basically along with some unreleased ones too because it was basically an updated version of it.

      • Jeff Copeland says:

thats true i just want more blackman bossman and rvd they were i think some of the best champions add in al snow and even hardcore holly

  5. me says:

A whole day of Crash Holly matches. At least there is something right in the world.

  6. Patrick McNamara says:

I really want to see The Undertaker. Vs. Maven (the upset from smackdown in early 2002. ) on there as well. So many potential great matches. Live it wwe that your releasing championship dvds this year. Maybe a history of both the world tagteam and wwe tagteam titles in like a 4 disc set? Then just maybe a 3 disc set on the cruiserweight championship?

    • Patrick McNamara says:

Love it sorry typed too fast

    • me says:

yeah right they wont be brave enough to show taker losing

i just had the same thought about the history of the championships…give us cruiserweight, european, tag team, etc

      • Jeff Copeland says:

so far we got wwe title, world title, ic title and now u.s title dvds

i would say next would be well updated hardcore title after that maybe cruiserweigh/light heavyweight or i would really want the EUROPEAN TITLE!!!

  7. Jerry says:

When does this dvd hit stores in Australia?

  8. Mike Poulin says:

Matches I would like to see on this set
Steve Blackman vs Al Snow vs Crash vs Saturn vs Test vs Funaki Hardcore Invitational Unforgiven 2000
    Steve Blackman vs Perry Saturn
Big Show vs Kane vs Raven from WrestleMania X 7

  9. Donald says:

Anticipating some surprisingly good matches, especially from pay-per-view. This release can be big if done right!

  10. Indyfan says:

The backlash match was great. Looking forward to tomorrow’s reveal. Hopefully RVD vs Taker( Unforgiven 2001) and RVD vs Jericho( Veangence 2001)

    • Donald says:

Both are excellent matches! Fortunately I have them on vhs. 😛

    • Mike Poulin says:

      Indyfan
You messed up on the shows of those two matches, RVD vs Jericho was Unforgiven 2001 and Taker vs RVD is Vengeance 2001

      • Indyfan says:

Lol damn it !! You all knew what I meant!!!! Either way both matches need to be on this set. RVD vs Jericho may be the best Hardcore Championship match of all time. It’s better than aby of the RVD vs Jeff Hardy matches

  11. Mongoose Wizard says:

I know it was on the first Hardcore DVD way back in the day but I would really love to see Raven Vs Kane Vs Big Show from Wrestlemania X Seven on here. Really loved that match and it belongs on here.

  12. Paul says:

The thing I like about this set is that we’ll see guys you never normally see on WWE DVDs. Guys like Crash Holly, Perry Saturn and the Mean Street Posse just don’t get on to DVDs and I for one will enjoy watching some lower card guys. Really looking forward to this release

  13. Ruthless.Attitude.Eras.4Life says:

I love this.. Headbangers with their freak-out outfits and Al Snow and Hardcore in the Misissippi.. how can I not.. 😉

  14. Damon says:

Meh on those matches, they could use those matches on Holly’s own set

    • Jammer says:

Yes, because the WWE is sitting at their offices right now saying, “you know what would really sell a lot for us?? Hardcore and Crash Holly DVD sets!” *shakes head*
