wheres the content for this DVD?

  2. Tommy B says:

Well, we all knew from the start that the Immortal DVD was a terrible idea. I think there are plenty of ideas that would be much better for a DVD release, but TNA decide to go with this garbage.

I’ve seen this and its not that great. Its just the story of Hogan and Bischoff coming in and then some of the bad storylines that followed on from it. Most of it is before immortal even started, so its like saying this is the new era of TNA with all the big names that came in last year. The amount of times they say ECW or WCW and bleep it out is ridiculous. They need to stop selling what they think is cool about the past and carve out a totally new identity. I think they used to have that. Sort of. But maybe the new branding will get to that. I’m not a big TNA fan but having watched this I think Hogan and Bischoff havent a clue what they are doing. When you trace back the big storyline and look at the big picture it was supposed to all slot in to place as a great story. It didnt. No one is surprised but maybe over-elaborate story telling should wait until the simple stuff is done properly. As Foely has stated they try to do too much and thats what hurts them. Its quality, not quantity that matters.

Through the addition of the question mark, I’m guessing this set will point out the cracks in Immortal? – I’m guessing with comments from Dixie, Fortune etc. However I don’t know if that makes sense as Immortal runs TNA, or maybe it does or maybe this is a ‘network’ DVD. Who the he’ll knows! 😉

Its got a ‘We’re trying to look important’ vibe about it. Flair added sod all to immortal anyway. He should have retired when he retired if that makes sense. He’s an expensive piece of luggage for TNA and on this cover that’s what he looks like.

  6. SRB says:

i was being sarcastic.. wcw forever is what it should say. all you need is sting and goldberg hanging from those pillars
