The July issue of WWE Magazine has an article on the upcoming ECW Unreleased Vol. 2 DVD. Three of the matches are previewed, along with comments from Joey Styles.
2 Cold Scorpio vs. Shane Douglas
ECW World Television Championship Match
A Matter of Respect – May 11, 1996“The Franchise, like many others, didn’t respect Scorpio as much as he should have. WWE saddling the athletic Scorpio with the failed comedy gimmick Flash Funk made people forget that he was the first American wrestler to use the 450 Splash.”
Mike Awesome vs. Rhino
ECW World Heavyweight Championship Match
ECW on TNN – October 1, 1999“Awesome was hampered by unimaginative, goofy gimmicks when he hit the national stage. WCW had no idea how to market the former ECW World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion. The 6’6″, 290-pound freak could fly like a cruiserweight.”
Justin Credible vs. Jerry Lynn vs. Steve Corino
Three Way Dance for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship Match
ECW on TNN • September 29, 2000“In ECW, Three Way Dances were Elimination Matches. The only wrestler not defeated was champion. WWE needs to enact this for the good of our titles’ legacies.”

WWE will be releasing the new WCW War Games DVD and Blu-ray this coming Tuesday. You can get your copy ordered in time over at this link.
A page of the latest WWE Magazine is advertising it. Thanks to Cesar Albino for the pic.
Shaun Blackford has a review up of the War Games Blu-ray which you can listen to below.
Did you know that there are 48,658 tapes housed in the WWE video library? WWE.com has posted up a revealing article giving an inside look into their video vault.
Lastly, WWE has put up for sale a new package of their latest DVD release Extreme Rules 2013 and the event T-Shirt together for $24.99. You can find it at WWEShop.com.
What Joey doesn’t say is that he’s glad Mike Awesome is still dead.
A tour of their video library would be fascinating, no doubt! Now if they only took custom DVD orders from the public and not just the talent. I’d have a field day going through their vault and putting a list together. *DROOL*
That piece on WWE.com about their wrestling library is fascinating.
There need to be a lot more WCW Blu-Ray sets released
That ad for War Games would’ve made for a better cover imo.
According to Zavvi, there is a Blu-ray planned for Live in the UK April 2013…here is the link
http://www.zavvi.com/blu-ray/wwe-live-in-the-uk-april-2013/10796430.html
Nothing is mentioned on WWEDVD.co.uk.
Last they said on social media was no Blu-ray and it looks like things are finalised for that release. Likely a mistake on Zavvi (my guess).
It’s simply amazing the amoun of footage the wwe have.
wwe should start a burn on demand service so you could get the Raw/Smackdown/Main Event/Other Tv taped shows that you went to live.
