  1. Dale says:

The Bischoff dvd is gonna suck. Why are WWE making a dvd about him when he wasn’t even a wrestler? He’s not worthy of three discs. He hreleased a book several years ago which was enough. I’d rather see a dvd about Davey Boy Smith aka The British Bulldog.

    • RabidHeat says:

I have to agree actually. Not in a bitching way, but seriously, 3 discs is a bit silly. Most of anything interesting to do with Bischoff was covered on the Monday Night War-themed releases (both in 2004 and the most recent Network episodes), and there is more said about him on nWo and Nitro-themed releases, and yeah, at the end of the day, he’s NOT a wrestler.

I’m not saying don’t release a single-disc doc on the guy with a couple of extras where we can see him on his motorbikes etc. (for those that care about seeing that – I don’t), but this is excessive. I would feel the same about Shane McMahon even though he had more matches actually; still not someone who deserves a 3-disc set when greats like Rick Rude and the Bulldog still haven’t had one.

    • Jeff Copeland says:

they made one on paul heyman he rarely ever wrestled?

  2. RCS1988 says:

I hope one of these extras is Bischoff’s WWE tryout audition from 1990 shown in full.

  3. me says:

I imagine day 4 or 5 will be dedicated to matches that Bischoff was in. He had a few in his career.

  4. Eric says:

I remember being completely shocked by the Billy and Chuck Wedding. That was before I found out everything on the net. I really do love the non spoiled surprises.

    • me says:

Me too even though I had the internet for years at that point. Great angle. Very surprised to see it on a DVD in this era since it was controversial even at that time.

      • Andres G says:

Well, to be fair, “controversial” IS in the title.

Still, IIRC, GLAAD also gave WWE a lot of praise for the Billy & Chuck angle (that is, until they accused WWE of misleading them about how it would end), and it fits in nicely with their anti-bullying and ‘be a star’ messages.

If anything, the one that would be very surprising for me to see on the DVD (and of course, it’s not) is the HLA angle.

  5. Alex murray says:

The bishoff set is gonna be awesome ! I’m really anxious to get it

  6. Ruthless.Attitude.Eras.4Lifer says:

Terrible poster to an even terribler main event.

I hope, they will go in deep about The Bitsches role as RAW gm in the main doc..still one of the greatest OMG moments in WWE history for me. Should be fun to see the full lenght edition of the Trial, all though, I do not expect it to be re-watchable.

    • Eric says:

You aren’t the only one that is not excited about the main event, but I think there will be enough other than the main event to make Mania awesome.

      • Ruthless.Attitude.Eras.4Lifer says:

Like with all stuff in life, matter of individual opinion…but, last -Awesome- wrestlemania is XX.

Definitely been some great ones after 2004,: 21, 22, 24.. good ones in 23 and 28.

Awesome shows?!..for me, absolutely not these past 12 years.. performers that are boring for the most part, and worse, “drowning” in way over-huged stage show..there’s really no nerve or feel to it anymore..

Cool stuff seems to get fewer and fewer of for each year.. Birth of Supplex City was cool at 31, definitely..but that was about it for me.

Normally not 1 match for can save a whole show, but this year, since the return of “Here comes the Money” O’Mac is happening, that might just do it for me, to care about the supposedly biggest event in sportsentertainment history. We shall see.. 🙂

        • Jeff Copeland says:

I was at 26 and that one was alright i thought i got to see last match of Shawn Michaels and at the time the streak go to 18 & 0 xD 😀
