WrestlingDVDNetwork.com just had a pre-release, hands-on look at WWE’s new Kevin Owens DVD — revealing a hefty amount of footage from KO’s time on the independents!
For the “Fight Owens Fight: The Kevin Owens Story” documentary WWE has sought out clips from Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), Ring of Honor (ROH) and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), on top of the International Wrestling Syndicate (IWS) material already reported earlier this year.
ROH content will be most prominently shown in the first half of the documentary with emphasis on interactions between Kevin Steen and El Generico; their partnership and feud in the indy promotion, and their journeys to WWE to ultimately become Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
Above and below, check out a few exclusive screengrabs of said footage.
On the interviewee list for the main portion of the DVD are several former ROH stars, including: Steve Corino, Jimmy Jacobs, Neville, Johnny Gargano, Seth Rollins and Daniel Bryan.
“Fight Owens Fight: The Kevin Owens Story” will be released on DVD and Blu-ray worldwide this summer beginning early next month. In addition to the documentary you can expect to see a selection of “deleted scenes”, 17 matches and moments, and more bonus content.

I hope they were able to interview El Generico before he was beheaded by that cartel. Then again I don’t really like reading subtitles
Wow, footage of Todd Sinclair in a WWE DVD! 😀
