No Dudleyz wtf they should have added when they power bomb Mae young off the stage or Dudley vs dx and Tori handicap dumbster table’s match from king of the ring 2000 just because finally Tori goes through the table
Agree with brad attitude. Would have been nice to see some pillman on this. Even just a promo as a blu ray extra.
Too bad there’s almost to nothing with Brian Pillman as they glossed over 1997. Maybe adding one or two matches of his or his XXX Files segment would’ve been nice.
First thing that jumps out to me is that we’re going to be getting almost 3 discs worth of 4-5 minute TV matches. Yikes! As much fun as that time was to be a fan, it’s hard for me to look back on it because most of this stuff just doesn’t stand the test of time. Do we really need to see the Patterson vs. Brisco lingerie match? WWE must really be upset at us if they are giving us THAT. Lol!
Really, the only thing on there that looks appealing to me is the Hunter vs. Jericho Last Man Standing match from Fully Loaded.
I like the fact this set has more TV matches than PPV ones as I have all the Attitude PPV’s on Tagged Classics so it gives me added Attitude content for my collection. But I would like some matches on Blu-Ray for a better picture quality than DVD gives you, so they should do a “Best PPV Matches of the Attitude Era”, fantasy concept maybe? 😉
Well I cant admit its better then the 1st, since you always need a Doc n with out a Doc in the first one it wud hav been boring. The 2nd one looks good n even though it doesnt need a Doc now, they could hav added some better matches like the first HELL IN A CELL match / the first INFERNO match between Taker n Kane / the Special Ref match between Bret & Taker w/HBK as special ref & of course the McMahon Vs Austin Steel cage match from St Valentine’s Day massacre‼️
9 times out of 10 I would agree, but I do have to admit that these matches (minus the inferno match) can be found on a lot of wwe dvd’s… or WWE network, which is of course $9.99 cents. Seriously, how much do they have to jam that price down our throats, they have to think of a new marketing plan for the WWE network.
AWESOME! !!! Can’t wait to get this one.it has better content than the previous volume.
i’m not surprised that Benoit didn’t make the DVD! It sucks though, the DAY AFTER Royal Rumble ’00, when The Radicalz debuted (1/31/00) on RAW, SHOULD MOST DEFINITELY HAVE MADE THIS DISC! ON DA REAL! I KNOW, I KNOW, Benoit’s ‘persona non grata’… -_-
I think the Austin Vs Rock Lumberjack match involved the Corporation surrounding the ring whilst Rock was the Corporate champ
Actually both Austin and Rock were faces and the Corporate Ministry were the lumberjacks. It really wasn’t a match at all and just ended up as a huge brawl. In the end Taker threw Austin off the stage and Rock “broke” his arm when he was pushed off by Triple H.
I remember watching this episode on Classics on Demand last year. It was just a typical attitude era main event that ended in chaos and dusty finishes.
They should have put the nation vs dx street fight and more 1997 matches/segments. Overall I’m excited about this set!!!! Hopefully we’ll get a vol. III next year along with a Nitro and ECW Unreleased vol. III !!!!!!
Really good listing here. I totally don’t even remember the Austin vs Rock lumberjack match on RAW. And a lot of other matches I don’t remember either.
Awesome listing!!! This should sell well, and hopefully we will get a vol 3 along with best of nitro and ecw unreleased vol 3!!!! not much taker again but that’s ok coz they are prob doing a full set on him soon.
The first Attitude Era set has four matches and one segment involving Taker and they showed a few clips of the Taker/Kane angle in the documentary portion.
But for Volume 2, he’s barely there as far as the content listing goes. They have the match where Taker dressed as Kane was in a match to determine the #1 Contender for the WWF Title from July 6, 1998 and Taker vs Rock in a casket match from May 17, 1999. Besides that, they have a Taker segment as a blu ray exclusive.
Like it or not, love him or hate him, he was one of the leaders and top talents in the Attitude Era and he’s been in a number of segments that WWE have left out of this set.
He’s been doing interviews for DVD’s like Thy Kingdom Come and History of WWE as well as WWE Network shows such as The Monday Night War. SO it’s possible if Attitude Era Vo.2 has a documentary portion, he’ll provide comments.
Dam, I wish it had the Hell in a Cell match with Kane vs Mankind and the inferno match w/ taker vs Kane 🙁
Yeah. Two more matches I’d like to see were Taker vs Kane in a #1 Contender’s match to decide who gets a WWF Title shot at KOTR and Taker vs Rock from a RAW, October 1998 show.
As I said, he was in a number of great segments that WWE left out. Just some of those:
– The one where he and Kane saluted each other after Kane saved Taker from an attack from DX.
– Taker returning to accept Kane’s WM14 challenge
– Taker setting a Kane dummy on fire via lighting bolt.
– The worked shoot interview where he spoke of how he was only a 2 time World Champion and had to face “freaks” like Gonzalez.
– Vince questing whether Taker and Kane were in cahoots. This was a week after Taker dressed as Kane to beat Mankind to get a WWF Title shot at Summerslam. Taker looked pissed as ever during this segment and told Vince and Austin to go to hell.
I would have also included the Triple H vs. Mr. McMahon street fight at Armageddon ’99, but it has already been included on McMahon’s dvd and on the rare Triple H that damn good, so its not a big deal.
Two other good ones involved The Rock. Both were on RAW from 2000 leading up to WM. One was where he put his career on the line against Big Show. Vince returned and helped Rock win. The other was the original WM main event, the triple threat match for the WWF Title between Rock, HHH, and Big Show. Throughout the night, they hyped this as something historic.
Well, the first disc looks good but the rest looks average. Not sure whether I should take it or leave it. Might wait until it gets cheaper then I’ll give it a chance
It doesnt need a Doc – that was on the 1st set.
Is there a DOC on this or is it just matches?
doc is on vol. 1, though its very short and not the highlight of that release.
It seems like Stone Cold vs. Mr. McMahon from RAW has been on too many DVDs now. Other than that, very few matches/segments that are DVD repeats or available on the WWE Network. Some of the WWE Network matches will be great to own on physical media. WWE did a great job. So many matches I have never seen.
WHEN THE HELL WILL THEY GIV THE 1st HELL IN A CELL MATCH BETWEEN TAKER N HBK⁉️
Yet, its still a great set of matches (Im interested in 17 Total on this set) especially the Fully Loaded match between Sable & Jacqueline ‼️
You’re obviously joking about the first Hell In A Cell match. At least I hope you are, seeing as that match has been released a million times.
Sure as hell am waiting till I get my PS4 for Christmas so I can get this on Blu-Ray. This looks amazing, seeing this listing made my day. Can’t wait to see how the cover looks this time around.
I looked at the list and went eh. A few good matches with a lot of diva matches. I’ll wait for WWE black Friday sale to buy this one.
Should have added steel cage match cactus Jack and chainsaw Charlie vs New age outlaws the making of new dx with hhh as the new leader stone cold Steve Austin’s second wwe championship reign vs kane ladder match rock vs hhh summer slam 98 Kane vs undertaker judgement day 1998 for the vacant wwe championship with Austin as special referee kiss my ass match rock vs Mr ass summer slam 1999 survivor series elimination match dx vs kane the rock test and Shane McMahon with Austin as special enforcer and aronald Schwarzenegger as special commentator the rock vs big show with the rock’s career on the line with the return of Vince McMahon undertaker vs hhh I think when the rock has his brama bull segal and puts Paul bearer on it the rock vs undertaker lumberjack match with the return of Kane or the rock vs kane no holds barred match
Can anyone say attitude era vol 3 for next year? 🙂
Puppies on Ho-train with Rock Bottom attitude era vol. 3, oooooh hell yeaaaaah! always! 😉
Overall it looks like a good set, I’ll probably pick up the blu-ray. One question though…
Golga vs. Marc Mero
RAW • August 3, 1998
Shockingly this match doesn’t stand out in my memory, did something noteworthy happen here? Or do you think they included it to show not everything was great in that era?
They probably wanted something from the Oddities and Mero separately and it was best to kill two birds with one stone. WWE has the end of the match, and doesn’t seem anything special.
Incredible listing. Must buy day one Blu-ray. Surprised however they didn’t go into the year 2001. the WWF was definitely still in the attitude era in ’01 and there were lots of great moments and matches from that year….
I agree.. 2001 seems to be overlooked.. I would really love a Bluray HD edition of the 3 stages of Hell match from No way out 2001 between Austin and HHH.. together with Armageddon 2000 hell in a cell match and Austin vs Rock at wm x7 thats the favorite matches of the attitude era for me.. but, so much entertaining came out of that era, so… bring on vol. 3 next year.. he he he
I was hoping for the Sable/Luna catfight from March 17, 1998 Raw or something from August 17, 1998 edition of Raw as I was there. Nevertheless this is a blu ray I will buy.
No Chyna stuff except for the early DX stuff, guess that is not best for business.
naaaah.. we still got a lot of Puppies and the Ho-train rides on full hot steam! that, my friend, is fantastic for business! 😉
Fantastic listing, this is must watch stuff, so awesome.
Finally HHH vs Y2J last man standing is added to a set.
not first time though.. is also on the hhh release: “That damn Good”.
But, it is very nice to see it on a Bluray release, cos it is a fabilous match
Buying a blu ray player for that reason alone, it is finally in my collection.
\
Must buy and I wanted DX searching for Undertaker during the January 19, 1998 Raw.
oooooooh hel yeaaaaaaaah.. it’s Puppies on the Ho-train time again, yesssssss!
Oooooh Myyyy Goooooood: The Evening Gowning Match from KOTR 2000…in Full Bluray HD! don’t know if my stomach can take that one! :-/
The last man standing match from Fully loaded 2000 is a masterpiece..
absolutely loving this release already.. november, come now, but leave the bad weather behind. 🙂
Listing looks great. Like how they included the rare Heat and Shotgun matches.
Blu-ray extras look solid too.
Surprised the cage match from the night after Wrestlemania XIV isn’t on this one either. I was watching it on the network yesterday and couldn’t figure out why the heck it’s not on any DVDs.
Looks solid though, will probably pick this one up.
OK match listing for the DVD Version Nothing that it has for you to go a buy straight away but the Blu-ray extras has brought it up from maybe or maybe not for must buy now, these 3 extras have made this purchase for me

For some reason it still does not appear on Amazon.com in the U.S.—can a link be published when it is? It was previously on Amazon about a month ago, but only the dvd, not the blu-ray,
and even that has disappeared.
Yeah, we’ll give an update when it’s added back.
On Amazon.ca, only the DVD version is available…
