So far I have Randy Orton and John Cena. Those 2 have good matches on them.

  2. Shane says:

So far I have bought all four Superstar Collections that are out and have been happy about each one, (the Daniel Bryan being the best by far) I am noticing that WWE is not going back very far in their choice of matches, looks like 2008 being the oldest match so far. I was hoping for more than four matches on HBK’s but I understand one of the four being Wrestlemania’s Undertaker match and that that one eats time. Still happy with this series and if they maintain two releases a month I will try to get each one.

  3. Jeff says:

These really aren’t budget titles considering the content. I’m not sure why anyone, even casual fans, would buy these at ten bucks. Drop it to five and then maybe it’s worth it.

  4. nightmare says:

Pass on all of these I mean how many Shawn release do we need .

  5. WWEBluFan says:

Might buy the HBK disc. Don’t have the Judgment Day or SummerSlam matches in my collection. Would like to see them!

  6. captain planet says:

It’s a shame Shawn hardly wrestled any new opponents in his last few years. Instead of HBK vs Kane as his last Raw match, it should’ve been HBK vs Sheamus (to do one last new match and at the same time tie in with Sheamus taking on HHH at WM24). At least the DX feud with Legacy produced some very good matches.

  7. Dave says:

People really need the “superstar collection” series are aimed at CASUAL FANS, and basically gives them a fix of their favourite wrestler at a very cheap price and hopefully entitles them to pick up the 2-3-4 disc sets and ppvs.

How are these any different from WCW “Superstar Series” they had back in 98-99 from Hulk Hogan, Best of Bash at the Beach, nWo, Ric Flair, DDP, Savage, Goldberg, etc?!?

WWE use to do this too with budget Coliseum video releases. Back in the 80s-90s Coliseum video tapes such as PPVs and “Best of’s” were expensive in the $40-$50 range so they released several 60 minute budget tapes that were $15-$20.

If your a hardcore collector that has every DVD with a WWE logo on it then good for you…you don’t have to buy these.

    Horrible matches

  9. Scsa says:

I don’t really care that there not gonna be released in the UK cos the content on these DVDs is crap especially the ‘Shawn Michaels’ content which I was actually waiting for the most!

  10. Loose Cannon says:

You know a lot of people are saying these are a waste and they will pass on them etc. And that may be true. But i think these will be sleeper’s. And in a year or so when you can’t get them anymore they will be the most sought after dvd’s on the second market. I could be totally wrong and they wont be worth a dime. But you just never know with WWE dvds. So as a WWE dvd collector i’m gonna buy every title leave them factory sealed and just store them away.. Because either way if there a hit or miss as a collector it’s good to have in your collection.

  11. X-23 says:

Good choices. These matches were all left out of HBK’s and Rey’s last DVDs. Except for Punk/Rey OTL. That’s going to be on Punk’s set too. Their WrestleMania match would have been a better choice

  12. Geolink says:

    Wow a whopping 4 matches on HBK’s DVD… That’ll get your money’s worth…

I don’t get how all of these releases don’t have the same amount of matches.

    • Ricky says:

Because you can’t guarantee that each set has five matches if the five don’t fit within the three hour time frame. The amount of matches isn’t nearly as important as the quality of said matches.

    • Calcifer says:

It’s not about number of matches, it’s about amount of time. HBK has fewer matches because they are longer.

They look pretty decent, though I’m still not sure about collecting these myself.

  13. Deadpool17 says:

Pass on the HBK DVD, I thought it would be matches from earlier years.

  15. Steve says:

Could these be any more useless?

Dan B did you happen to see the pole on WWEcom about what DVD’s fans would like to see?

Pretty interesting choices: Best of IYH, ECW Unreleased Vol 2,Best of War Games.
They had a bunch of other great choices also.
