Heads up on the Blu-ray edition of Money in the Bank 2013! It was expected to be a Best Buy exclusive (as is usually the case), however, a product listing for it has now gone up on Walmart.com which may indicate that the release is in fact a Walmart exclusive.
We can confirm that the Blu-ray exclusive content for Money in the Bank (listed here) runs in total for approximately 1 hour and 17 minutes.
The sole extra on DVD version, which will also be included on the Blu-ray, is the Shield vs. Usos tag match from the Money in the Bank Kickoff show.
Got a notice today that my preorder from Wal-Mart had shipped out on the MITB 2013 bluray.
Pre ordered my Money in the Bank Blu Ray. I can’t wait.
What a load of garbage that the blu ray is a walmart exclusive. They always find a way to screw Australians
…? It’s a Walmart exclusive only in the US. Will be a normal release in Australia.
I absolutely love these match type anthologies. The Ladder Match, Steel Cage, Hell in a Cell, and Elimination Chamber DVDs are some of my favorite WWE sets. The inclusion of this year’s MITB matches makes this set a must-own
There is no way they are selling the Blu Ray and the DVD for the same price. Yet they wonder why Blu Ray sales aren’t as good as DVD’s for PPV’s. Maybe if we didnt have to jump through flaming hoops as wrestling fans to find them.
I agree, driving to Wal-Mart is the same as jumping through flaming hoops.
My point is that it’s 2013 and every WWE PPV should just automatically be released on Blu Ray. I’m sure that us way too much for you to comprehend however.
I wonder if the money in the bank anthology will include Edge Vs. Mr. Kennedy and other matches for the case. Like John Cena Vs. Dolph Ziggler
Got my preorder in on walmart for MITB 2013 on blu ray. I’ll keep you updated if the order cancels as I remember walmart putting up a best buy exclusive last year by accident and then cancelling my order after they realized their mistake.
on the ecw unrleased Blu-ray the shane douglas promo after the tv title match is that suppose to be edited it seems like it is
Another guy who cashed in (the miz) that couldn’t cut it as wwe champion. It’s sad nowadays that MITB cash in participants don’t get the right build up they deserve unless they’re already a former champion
Very nice. I sort of compare this release to the Best PPV matches of each year because of timing. Usually those year-end matches do not make the cut. However, in this case, I’m glad to see WWE waited an appropriate amount of time. It would have been very dumb to release this around the time they are without including the recent PPV matches. Good picks so far and I’m glad the cash-ins are there.
Not really surprised this year’s matches are on there. If I remember right, the current year’s matches were also on the Elimination Chamber set the year it was released.
This is basically an anthology. Every one will be on there obviously, otherwise they wouldnt have put both from this year. And I bet the blue rays are just all the cash ins, there should be room. So this exclusive release posting isnt neccessary =)
People were wondering if it would have the latest two on there. I saw a couple of folks say that it’s unlikely.
The reveals we’re doing are more about the cash-ins. The set’s an obvious one unlike the content of others I do agree. Anyways, full listing tomorrow.
Can’t wait for tomorrow then! In addition to the reveal, I got the rest of my Summerslams coming in the mail, so I’m excited.
I estimate 1:30 for blu ray extras. Cena/RVD ran for 30+ minutes and Cena/Punk ran for 15. 45 minutes for the remaining 10, which averages 4:30 apiece for the rest. I think it could be done.
Daniel – Thanks for the update on the Blu Ray version of MITB 2013!
I searched Wal-Mart.com & couldn’t find a listing. Could you post a link?

Just from typing wwe money in the bank 2013 in their search box. 🙂
Thank you!
On sale too for just under 15 bucks.. that’s great!
Strange the DVD and Blu-ray are the same price…also the list price for the DVD is $20 whereas the Blu-ray its $16.
Not complaining though, great deal on the Blu-ray version.
Will the cash ins include the matches prior to the cash in. Ex. Orton vs Barrett. Also I wonder if they will include Kennedy vs Edge, Hardy vs Edge, and RVD vs Benjamin since they were all for the MITB briefcase
I don’t think the full elimination chamber before Edge’s 1st cash in will be on there. I think it’ll show the last 5-10 minutes. Basically, when only Masters, Carlito, Cena, & Kane are left. But I’d expect most of the others to have the full match.
Fantastic that this year’s will be included!
Glad I pre-ordered it! Should be great addition to my collection
