The Canadian-themed WWE DVD, rumored for almost 2 years, has finally been confirmed!
“Our Nation’s Pride: The Best of Canadian Superstars” is the working title of the DVD which is speculated to be a 2 disc set. As we reported last year, the format will be a “Top 20” or “Top 10” countdown of the greatest moments and matches involving Canadian WWE Superstars.
Just some of those Superstars slated to be featured in the compilation include: Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Edge, Christian, Chris Jericho, Lance Storm, Tyson Kidd, Natalya, and Trish Stratus.
It will be available on May 24th, 2016 as an exclusive to fans in Canada.
It’s time to get a look at the “Eric Bischoff: Sports Entertainment’s Most Controversial Figure” cover artwork, ahead of the DVD and Blu-ray release coming later this year!
EXCLUSIVE: WrestlingDVDNetwork.com has just received some new specifics on the recently finished documentary main feature of the Bischoff DVD and Blu-ray set.
It will have a runtime of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes and will be accompanied by more than 30 minutes of additional documentary-style chapters, to be included in the extras.

The best of Canada’s Superstars won’t be great without the late, great Chris Benoit!

I don’t want a murderer in my DVDs…
Just wondering if extreme rules 2016 and payback 2016 DVDs will get new release dates since the 2 pay per views are switching up this year? Will we get a update a new update on the new DVD release dates are?
I think the WWE’s Canada DVD will be a HMV Canada Exclusive because they had a survey on Rogers Sportsnet Web Site to choose the matchup with a HMV as the sponser!
Nope – you can pre-order it from Amazon.ca right now.
Cool Eric Bischoff cover. I look forward to finding out what else is on the set.
It’s good to see that the documentary portion is 90 minutes. I was worried that it would only be an hour. There is plenty of ground to cover.
Pretty cool cover and I think that the Canada DVD will be full of repeats so I doubt fans in US will be missing much….
2 hours documentary material..+ let’s say, another 30 minutes of Bluray exclusive extra stories.. that would mean: around 5½-6 hours of matches and segments.. if this is a release following the traditionally concept: I am very very interested in seeing what they plan having on here besides the main doc and the bonus stories.
Probably the same as the Heyman one which was the last one based on a non-wrestler. Mostly angles and interviews, with some matches. Bischoff did have more matches than Heyman. He was an interviewer in AWA, a staple of WCW television first as a babyface announcer then the heel nWo boss and then of course the Raw GM.
I like the cover but I think they get too cute with the covers now. Just a picture of Bischoff with a black background would have been fine.
Canada DVD not being for U.S. fans is unfair, too.
There are ways you can get your hands on it.
