“The Monday Night War Volume 2: Know Your Role”.
That looks to be the name WWE is giving to their follow up Monday Night War DVD.
Plans are already in place for the company to release the second volume in the Home Video collection toward the end of this year, as another 4 disc DVD set and 3 disc Blu-ray set!
Before then, “The Monday Night War Volume 1: Shots Fired” hits US stores this July and is expected to follow to the UK and Europe in August. The DVD and Blu-ray will feature 10 episodes of the WWE Network docu-series and extras to go along with those episodes.
It was also revealed to have 1 hour of exclusive interview footage with Sting and Triple H.
In addition to Fast Lane, WWE released “The Marine 4: Moving Target” this week.
That’s out on both DVD and Blu-ray formats, priced from $11.99 here on Amazon.com.
Special thanks to WDN reader “gemni888” for sharing these photos.
The Blue Meanie’s promotion of “ECW Unreleased Vol. 3” took him to the former ECW Arena earlier this week. Meanie and Joey Styles tweeted the photos shown below.
Fans in the UK will get the new ECW Unreleased DVD and Blu-ray set first this coming Monday! It will follow to US fans on Tuesday and to Australian fans next month.
The Blu-ray edition is still priced only $17.64 here on Amazon.com right now.
Kayfabe Commentaries revealed this snippet of their 2015 DVD release schedule.
The schedule confirms dates for upcoming titles like “Timeline: The History of WCW – 1994” with Eric Bischoff and “Timeline: The History of ECW – 1996” with Raven.
It also references new projects on the way such as “YouShoot: Rikishi”. The next edition of their “Back to the Territories” series will be on Calgary, with special guest Lance Storm.

Well, we know “Marine 4” sold at least 1 copy.
one is one too many..
There’s no way WWE is going with the title know your role for vol 2 smh…
I don’t see what The Rock’s catchphrase has to do with anything regarding this DVD. And what’s with that weird photo of Ted Turner in a picture frame with the Brahma Bull on it above? Lol.
Probably meaning WWE to WCW after winning the war: “Know your role!”, a catchphrase of The Rock who was involved in the victory.
The image… well, do excuse that. 🙂
I doubt they will go along with that title..already used on a Rock release.. I love the cover and title of vol. 1, and what I have in mind of vol. 2 would be for the cover a nWo theme, since vol. 1 had the DX theme.
Althoug these factions are not the two only ingredienses in the Monday Night Wars, they are the 2 heavy weighters for sure..
If wwe really go with that Know your role title, it will be just plain stupid in my mind. But..we’ll see..
Doesn’t take a heck of a lot of imagination to picture what the cover will look like lol.
I went back and had a look at the 2004 Monday Night War DVD and that was all WWE images too, on the front and back! All there were WCW wise were a picture of the nWO and one of Bischoff’s, but they were taken during their time with WWE, lol.
Yes, the name is ignorant for the follow up MNW dvd….here’s a thought, since it’s a dvd about the Monday night war & it took BOTH WCW & WWF to have that war…why not be a little creative & come up with a title that incorporates BOTH in it?? How hard can it be.
That is kind of a stupid name for the Monday Night War follow up. Good to see Blue Meanie.
