The Hideo-Breeze match from San Jose was an awesome way to kick off that show. That was the first ever NXT show I went to and it kicked major ass. Hideo was teasing hitting the GTS for months, but never hit it. When he finally hit it in this match for the first time, the place went completely insane. 3 other matches from that San Jose show, that I hope sees the light of day someday, are the Sasha vs Charlotte title match, the Finn Balor vs Adrian Neville main event and the Bayley-Alexa Bliss vs Becky Lynch-Dana Brooke tag match, if for nothing else, just for the massive hometown pop that Bayley got that night. Incredible stuff. That whole show should’ve aired on WWE Network live. Wasted opportunity. I’m sure they’ll air the NXT show in Dallas for WrestleMania weekend on the Network.
Cool the Neville-Cesaro match that was rumored to be on an upcoming NXT DVD/Blu-Ray became true. (Outside the locker room was a list of matches for that evening and the Neville-Cesaro match had taped for DVD/Blu-Ray next to it. Guess that was incentive for both to put on a good match as according to people in attendence it was a pretty good one.)
Glad we are getting these unseen matches that were taped at arena shows or even tv tapings. Definiately a buy for me – hopefully theres a good sale around the time of the release.
This NXT set is looking awesome. I’d like to see one more match from the San Jose show. Hideo Itami vs Adrian Neville from the WM 31 battle royal tournament that was on NXT TV.
