WrestlingDVDNetwork.com has received word that before the month is out, if not any day now, the next batch of WWE DVDs and Blu-rays planned for 2017 will be confirmed!

The forthcoming announcements should help us answer the following:

Rather then unveil a full year’s worth of DVD plans like we’ve seen in the past, it appears WWE and their entertainment partners are opting to instead do so in quarterly increments due to distant titles sometimes being swapped and changed before they ultimately hit stores.

Stay tuned – as soon we know, you’ll know!

  1. WWEPPVMadness says:

So the WWE 2016 Ultimate Pay-Per-View Collection release in australia include Backlash 2016 and No Mercy 2016 PPV???

  2. Todd says:

I would love it if the WWE Network would include WCW Saturday Night. 6:05 pm Saturday when I was younger meant a lot to me and my friends. Kinda miss WCW. TNA is no competition at all

  3. RabidHeat says:

Johnny Flamingo? Do we not mean “Scotty”?

  4. RabidHeat says:

I read that title completely wrong and thought we had a WCW Saturday Night DVD set coming. ::

  5. mememememe says:

Good to see 30 matches on this. I like releases with a lot to choose from and a lot of variety.

  6. mememememe says:

Alright we got the 4 way. Really wanted that one.

  7. mememememe says:

Alright we got the 4 way. Really wanted that one.

  8. WWE PPV Collectors says:

Australia release the entire set of 2016 PPV, maybe could get it as it may include smackdown ppv backlash and no mercy to complete the ppv collection.

    • LP1 says:

I wouldn’t get my hopes up. Highly doubt they’ll release Backlash and No Mercy in the 2016 Box Set. If they were going to go through the trouble of releasing them on discs, they would’ve sold them individually months ago.

  9. Brad Attitude says:

Those are crappy match choices. Did they really have to repeat the mark starr match when they can just show what happens at the end in the documentary?

  10. Ruthless.Attitude.Eras.4Life says:

Could the Foley-hosted set maybe be a “Greatest of the Sillyest, Funniest and Craziest Gimmicks”.. or something like that for title.. since he’s in his Commisioner role (very crazy gimmicked and fun), and Enzo & Cass ( gimmicked at least) are visiting him?!

I always love when WWE show some love for the so called lower-card talents on releases, like they did with True Giants.

So..bring on The Goon, Doink (in particuarly heel Doink), The Bezerker, Waylon Mercy (“know what I mean”), The Worlds largest Lovemachine Viscera, Tugboat, JobSquad and all the other nutbags gimmicks. 😉

  11. Richard Wierzbowski says:

Still holding out hope for a Best of WCW Monday Nitro Volume 4 set, with DDP as host.

    • Paulie says:

Don’t count on it. The third volume sucked and was far from “the very best”.

      • AD Degreez says:

Agreed!!! But hope we get a wcw best ppv matches volume 2

        • Paulie says:

I wasn’t a fan of that set. I’d rather see a Clash of the Champions Vol. 2 or another set of matches from Mid-South Wrestling.

          • Jeff Copeland says:

i am hopeing for a best of halloween havoc or superbrawl those seam to do well in sells.

like great american bash set and starrcade sets did good

if not i could go for another nitro but with the network why not best of sat night main event or even combo of thunder and sat or heat and velocity.

  12. Mike Poulin says:

I hope there are still plans for an Unreleased DVD set and I like the match listings for the DDP set

  13. Patrick Mcnamara says:

Totally buying this as a blu ray if not at length the dvd. Looking forward to seeing the company list tomorrow.

  14. Jammer says:

Day 4 and I am still pleased with what I see for matches. Again, this shows the difference when the wrestler is allowed to pick matches too for his DVD set. Definitely looking forward to buying this Blu Ray in March.

    • Brad Attitude says:

You’re going be disappointed with how some of the matches turn out. The choice may look good on paper but having seen most of them already myself, I think your expectations will lower when u see how some of them end.
