It looks like we may potentially have some extra content included in this one and if so it will probably be featured as an Easter Egg, explaining why it is hidden from the confirmed chapters. Early word is that the countdown portion could have an additional “31st” moment.
On the subject of the main feature, WrestlingDVDNetwork.com can now reveal that it will have a runtime of approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. And as reported that will be joined by more than 6 hours of bonus matches, taking the complete runtime of the DVD well over the 7 hour mark.

Speaking of Canada, there’s some concern that the Blu-ray of “NXT: From Secret to Sensation” could have been cancelled after Amazon only listed the DVD version for pre-order. At this time we have not heard of any reason why that should be the case, but we’ll keep you informed.
Jumping to Amazon in the United States, the 2017-released “DDP: Positively Living” is right now only $9.99here on Amazon.com. This title was for a long time “unavailable” on the US Amazon but that appears to have been rectified and with a great deal on top!
The DDP DVD is priced significantly lower than other comparable releases this year and it’s as much as $19.99 on WWEShop. So go grab one; there’s currently only 8 of the DVDs in stock.
Looking ahead at the remaining 2017 WWE Home Video schedule, everything is a lock except for the UK exclusive “2017 Annual” box set. As of last word the release of this title is still being debated.
We hear that the first 2018 WWE DVDs should have release dates in 2 weeks at the latest.
Renee Young has revealed through social media that she recently filmed a DVD special with WWE. That will inevitably wind up as a 2018 release and we speculate that she filmed host segments for one of the 2017 retrospectives due out early next year. The last “Best PPV Matches” title was hosted by Lita, and the last “Best of RAW & SmackDown” was hosted by Jerry “The King” Lawler.

I know it’s flogging a dead horse and that WWE Home Video clearly doesn’t care about this complaint, but I really don’t understand why there would be a disc with only 70 minutes of content on it?
I understand, when there’s an accompanying Blu-Ray release, that the runtimes can cause the corresponding DVD to have some strange run lengths, but when it’s purely a DVD-only set, I don’t really get it. Why couldn’t they have put another two hours worth of matches on there? It’s not as if they’re struggling to find content for this release. Is there an actual, logistical explanation I’m unaware of?
Disk run times have been worse. Disk 1 of the first release of Undertaker 20-0 was about 38 minutes. The Greatest Stars of 21st Century release had a run time of 9 hours but was barely over 6 hours.

I think Brandon is basically saying the host is not really a selling point on this one, which I agree. And yes, one of the best sets of all time was Bret Vs. HBK, and one of the reasons was because good ole’ JR was the mediator.

Not cancelled just yet, at least nothing concrete. The US and Canada have different distributors so in theory could be possible but the two usually follow the same release pattern as you know.

Why not just add another disc?

single-layer discs are less expensive than double layer discs. I think it’s as simple as that.
So they can’t finish SSeries Anthology so they ‘Best Of”. They wonder why they are listed as a “C” Tier Production Company
