Goldberg: The Ultimate Collection is the next WWE DVD and Blu-ray title on the way, releasing to the UK this Monday and on to the US this Tuesday. Click to pre-order yours.
WWEDVD.co.uk have released another preview clip which this time sets up the Goldberg vs. Scott Hall match featured on the set. That was from Monday Nitro on July 6, 1998.
With thanks to Wesley Stover and WrestlingSuperStore.com, below is an early look at the full artwork on the Goldberg DVD. We recently showed off pics of the UK’s DVD and Blu-ray versions but this is the first time seeing the US editions.
We’ve also heard that the 3-disc DVD has been spotted out on sale early at FYE and K-Mart stores this week, should you be looking to pick up a copy early.
Shaun Blackford had the opportunity to watch a review copy of Goldberg: The Ultimate Collection on Blu-ray recently and shares his take on it in the video below.

Arguably the two biggest WWE DVD releases still to come this year are “The History of WWE” with its 3 hour documentary in November, and the 12-disc “Raw 20th Anniversary Collection” box set in December. Below we can give you a look at two new cover shots of both titles.
It’s worth noting that for “The History of WWE” we did not receive artwork for the Blu-ray edition, which is an unusual occurrence. However, the Blu-ray is still available to pre-order on all retail sites and is one of the major releases this year, so we are not expecting a cancellation.
The Raw box set’s full content is listed here; pre-order for $79.99 here on Amazon.com.
Can’t wait for History of WWE… it looks so awesome! The Goldberg one looks cool too… some nice matches in that one. But, seeing as I have to choose between the 2 as of right now, going for the 50 Years.
For those interested, u may wanna check your local k-mart because I just picked up an early copy at mine today…..sweet!!
I did write that in the above article, but congrats on the early pick up. 🙂
Goldberg looks like he is trying to sh*t in the first picture inside the DVD cover
I respect Shaun and his views, but for me personally, I don’t care about a doc. I read the listing for this set and it’s really stacked! I was a die hard WCW fan back in the day and this is gonna be great to add my WCW blu-ray/dvd library. The more matches the better for me. Besides if there was a doc on here, there wouldn’t of been enough room for all these matches, we’re getting some gems in here that we might not have gotten if they put a doc on here.
I have to say I thought the same about the War Games Match DVD, it was just a drag don’t get me wrong I liked how they switched it up with different variations of the match but the first couple just dragged especially with the same moves being applied. I have brought the Goldberg blu-ray as I collect most of the WCW releases but I haven’t started watching it yet, hopefully my opinion may differ from Shaun’s but like him I’m also a Hogan fan so i’m not passing judgement on anyone’s opinion of this blu-ray.
Thanks for the review Shaun, but can that one guy who used to do the website update videos, who always wore the wwe DVD news black hooded sweatshirts do the reviews his were not long winded and he had an excellent voice for the gig. Thanks
Goldberg was the real excellence of execution! He was so technically inclined, wow, he had so many moves! He was a ring general! I love how his matches were so unpredictable! He truly was a man of a 1000 holds. I am so excited about this release!

I like the cover for The History of WWE. Very classy looking, I think.
It is classy looking but I do not like the gold though
Yeah, I think i’ll buy this one and best ppv matches of 2013 not sure about the
money in the bank dvd but I only buy certain ones that I like thow.
Not that it really matters, but I probably would have replaced Ric Flair, JYD and Sgt. Slaughter with Rowdy Roddy Piper, Ted DiBiase and Jake Roberts. I just feel those three guys are a bit more WWE than Flair (yes, he had a great WWE run later in his career, but he is still more synonymous with the NWA/WCW) and JYD/Slaughter didn’t do quite as much for WWE as the guys I’ve mentioned, I don’t think. It doesn’t matter either way though, I’m sure the other guys will be pictured on the back cover, probably along with the likes of Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Tito Santana. 🙂
