We’ve reported that a WWE: Top Giants in Wrestling History DVD/Blu-ray is on the way, originally slated for October but recently pushed back to December.
The new title planned for the set is “WWE Presents – True Giants”.
An official synopsis and release date should be revealed very soon. Right now we have the mini-synopsis below from the survey that the DVD concept first appeared on.

“Brock Lesnar: Here Comes The Pain” from 2003 will be the next WWE DVD documentary streaming on the WWE Network. That’s being advertised to air from tonight.
We’ve added it to our new “WWE DVDs on WWE Network” page.
UK UPDATES: The WWE DVDs and Blu-rays that we recently reported will be re-released to the UK on are now up for pre-order here at WWEDVD.co.uk for release this coming Monday, August 18th. The DVDs are priced at only £9.99 each during the pre-order week. The Blu-rays are priced £14.99 (2 disc titles) and £9.99 (1 disc titles) during the pre-order week.
— For those asking, the continuation of the “Best of WWE Main Event” DVD volumes in issues of the UK WWE Magazine is now in obvious jeopardy given the current status of the magazine. We’ve heard directly from the publisher this week that they still hope to release more of the DVDs since the past issues which included them have been good sellers, but that the future possibility ultimately rests with WWE and their decision making.
— No sign yet of the TNA DVD UK site re-launching. However, UK fans can buy the TNA Bound for Glory 2013 DVD here on eBay.co.uk for £9.99 and delivered for free. Customers are now beginning to receive the DVDs ordered through that eBay page.
Most, if not all Best Buys, are reporting this title (OMG WCW) as being out but this just came out today, so not sure if it’s a delay in their shipments or something, but tried three Best buys today in my area an nobody had it on the floor.
Thought it was a bit odd that they never advertised the Top 50 Incidents in WCW Blu-ray/DVD on Raw last night.
The Giants release is one of the rare ones in which I have absolutely zero interest. To me those giant wrestlers are the most boring attractions in the WWE. Andre the Giant wasn’t that bad, but apart from two or three matches, I don’t care to watch him. And Big Show, Mark Henry, Yokozuna, and the Great Khali (who gets my vote as the most boring wrestler of all time tied with Santino) are all underwhelming in my opinion. Looking forward to what the WWE has in store for the last quarter of the year aside from this…
Nope, not watching that until the video is from somewhere else. I hate Youtube
Today’s your lucky day.
moving up to be leading secretary on the board of Daylimotion, are you, huh!?!
The Youtube hater is always lurking around, isn’t he 😀
I don’t get what his problem with Youtube is.
This is the first time in as long as I can remember that WWE released two non PPV releases back to back so quickly. Last week was Heyman, and this week was OMG. Seems out of the ordinary.
I remember about 10 years ago they use to release two on the same say – usually a PPV and non-PPV, which was pretty cool. Not sure if it was in the US, but in Canada that use to happen a lot.
